Lifestone:Is that what your cranium processed from the legal consultation I just gave to you? Sigh. |
This Ribadu's Vice President in waiting sef! And I heard he's the smartest among the other water carriers in that camp. |
Lifestone:What crime? Are you referring to the tapping? Elrufai will simply plead not guilty and the onus will now lie on the NSA to prove with technical evidence and beyond reasonable doubt, that he did tap his phone. Section 36(11) of Nigeria's 1999 Constitution (as amended) provides that no person shall be compelled to give evidence against themselves in a criminal matter. Translation: Even if I say I bedded your wife, you can't charge me to court and win unless you are able to prove it. I will simply decline to testify against myself. I'll send an invoice later for the legal consultation. It's not free. |
Baawaa:Just like in the past, EFCC will come out empty. Mallam ran the most documented government in the history of Kaduna and we heard he went to the EFCC office with a hillux full of documents showing every kobo spent as governor of Kaduna. To add to that, Elrufai is a first class student in law from the University of Harvard. I'm sure whoever will be interrogating him at the Commission will learn a lot and tap from his wealth of wisdom and knowledge. It's part of capacity building. This doesn't mean the well oiled Lagos-Ibadan Expressway media propaganda machinery like TheNation led by Tinubu’s water carrier, Sam Omatseye, will not have a field day with sensational headlines but that's where it stops. There are levels to this thing o.

Putindbutt:Okay, here's the thing. If I told you that someone slept with your wife and told me about it, are you going to charge me to court for adultery or force me to say who? Is it my duty to help your wife maintain her chastity? Elrufai will simply plead not guilty and the onus will now lie on the NSA to prove with technical evidence and beyond reasonable doubt, that he did tap his phone. Section 36(11) of Nigeria's 1999 Constitution (as amended) provides that no person shall be compelled to give evidence against themselves in a criminal matter. Lol. Mike Arnold no worry yourself jare. Tinubu's water carriers will soon invade this thread to call you names. Those charges are the most ridiculous and self-indicting charge I have ever seen. Elrufai will eat it for lunch. He didn't get a first class degree in law from Harvard for nothing. Malam is in a league of his own. Agbadorians are playing in his turf but he determines the momentum and pace. He already took the shine from both Tinubu's visit to Yola and Shettima's reception of Abba Kabir in Kano. It was all gloom. |
Why the heck is he walking like that!? |
hotseat:Stop trying to be clever by half. You weren't the only one who watched the interview. Play the part where Elrufai admitted to personally tapping the phone of the NSA. He will plead not guilty and the onus will now lie on the NSA to prove with technical evidence and beyond reasonable doubt, that he did. Elrufai is also a graduate of law from the University of Harvard. He graduated with a first class. No put body o! Person wey pass you don pass you. Section 36(11) of Nigeria's 1999 Constitution (as amended) provides that no person shall be compelled to give evidence against themselves in a criminal matter. Translation: Even if I say I bedded your wife, you can't charge me to court and win unless you are able to prove it. I will simply decline to testify against myself. damoobaba:Lol. Okay, assuming he has no evidence, what's the next move by the DSS? Provide evidence that he did abi? |
dederocs:Stop crying. Didn't you support him in 2023 when he was busy making Tinubu president? |
free2ryhme:You wish. Tinubu will kiss the dust again, just like in Turkey. If I say someone slept with your wife and told me about it. Are you going to sue me for adultery? |
dederocs:So the admission by Reno Omokri that Tinubu is a drug baron and a criminal cannot be used by the courts to exonerate Sowore abi? Elrufai has a law degree from Harvard and he's an "A" student. There's nothing you can tell him about law that he does not know. Once he pleads not guilty, the onus will be on DSS to prove that he did. He will floor Tinubu and his water carriers in court. |
Relass, Tinubu is Finishing Nigerians (RTIFN) |
ObiPandora:Tinubu is afraid of every opposition. Even Seyi Makinde and Adeleke in his own Southwest region. That's why he's withholding local government funds and now begging for a "political solution" in order to release it.
|
AndroBlaze:History has a funny way of repeating itself. We've been here before and we all know how it ended. Time is a gentleman, my friend.
|
The well oiled propaganda machinery of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway media gave been unleashed. Media trials is dead in arrival as far as Elrufai is concerned. Get your facts together and sue him to court. He will meet you there. |
autoez:After defeating EFCC and DSS, he will then face Tinubu squarely and ensure his defeat at the polls. No put body o! |
I hope Tinubu will release enough funds to the agency for them to carry out their job? Relax, Tinubu is finishing Nigerians. Elrufai went with a hilux full of documents showing every single penny spent as governor of Kaduna. Whoever will be interrogating Elrufai today at the EFCC will learn a lot from his level of knowledge and his wealth of experience.
|
Tinubu will be the first ex-president to stand trial and made to account for every single penny spent. It will happen! Time is a gentleman. |
Media trials led by the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway propaganda machinery will never stick on Elrufai. Northerners know that Elrufai can be called anything but not corrupt. EFCC will never be able to make anything stick against Elrufai. It's dead on arrival.
|
Olat4421:Pay no mind to them. The more they attack Mallam, the more grounds they loose in the North. Same way Elrufai's messaging was effective in 2023 when he was campaigning for Tinubu, the same way his messaging is effective now. Back them, they were kikiki-ing all over the place and calling him the next president after Tinubu. Only to win and then backstab him. By 2027, they'll backstab Ribadu and move on quickly with no qualms if they manage to win the election. |
Another rookie mistake by the NSA. The NSA's tone in categorically using the statement "the DSS will invite you" suggests hints of intimidation. He speaks like he has overriding command over the DSS but in truth, his job is just as an Adviser to the president and a coordinator at best, unlike what we have today. He should be aware he can't be the judge and jury in his own case and a citizen has the right to request for clarification and only the guilty are afraid. Strategically, he has proven to be no match for Elrufai and is only camouflaging that with silence while pretending to be busy.
|
This is the most random statement ever unless something is at play. Henry Okah is still in jail in South Africa. Who activated him to be releasing statements from jail and for what purpose? I thought the chapter on Jonathan's aspirations have been closed? Who is afraid of Goodluck Jonathan? |
Ofunaofu:This! Even the NSA has responded by threatening Elrufai with the DSS but that shouldn't be the prerogative of the NSA.

Exousiang01:If morally flexible characters and professional shape-shifters like Reno are friends with the NSA, it explains why information like these are getting leaked. Characters that will throw their own mother under the bus for crumbs are not whom the NSA should be keeping as friends and even offering ambassadorial appointments to. |
Exousiang01:Pathetic comeback. Classified fire! Its usage, even on terrorists, constitutes a war crime because it's a chemical weapon? Technology to tap phones only exists at government-tier level and Elrufai is a civilian with no access. If any lines are getting tapped, it's within the NSA's circle. He should clean up his house.
|
You mean Reno, Ribadu's V.P in waiting? They are strategizing on how to respond. It took them by surprise. Now, they don't know how much Elrufai knows and they are being careful. Elrufai is a man of many resources and he never backs down from a fight. Body go tell you! They jumped on the "tapping" bait without thinking and inadvertently gave anything emanating from him absolute credibility. They never saw the "Thallium Sulphate" left hook sucker punch coming. If the Villa wasn't aware of the "importation", questions will now begin to get asked internally. |
You can't put anything past a government paying 250 billion per governor for them to decamp and withholding the local government allocation of an entire state where he comes from while millions go hungry, all in a bid to subdue the governor and get him to cooperate. |
Obaofaba:The Nigerian police are under the federal government of the federation. That is the reason why Tinubu is still retaining Egbetokun Long after retirement. Simply ask Tinubu to direct Egbetokun to produce the police officers. |
Tinubu’s water carriers have already taken over the thread. Dadiyatta disappeared before Tinubu went to Chatham house with Elrufai o. Long before Elrufai took Buhari to supreme.court over naira scarcity and won, to the benefit of Tinubu. Ribadu is their new darling now but they will throw him under the bus after 2027 if they manage to win. Just like Shettima. |
Has he visited Kwara yet? |
