Why do you and Tinubu chase outside validation so much? Is it low self-esteem or imposter syndrome? From aiming to please Worldbank and IMF to celebrating a mere state visit to Britain, a fast declining empire. Why not focus on Nigeria and Nigerians and actually secure the country and make it prosperous for its citizens? As things stand today, Britain will gain more from Nigeria than Nigeria can ever hope to gain from it.

No need for argument. 2027 is fast approaching, we shall know if truly Elrufai made Tinubu to become president. But remember Elrufai could not win Kaduna for Tinubu in 2023 presidential election.

In similar way a combination of Sanwo-olu, Gbajabiamila, Obasa, Fashola, and Tinubu himself could not deliver Lagos. Yet, he's president. You get the point. Elrufai was not on the ballot, Tinubu was. Do not expect these governors decamping to APC today to deliver Tinubu. It's a tall ask. You will be disappointed.

Anyway, Professor Madam Ori has shown Abians how to protect their votes. Opposition should also support any party that is doing good,not for them to be aiming at power to draw the state backwards.

They don't want to contest with Otti. They are doing all these to put pressure on him so he can decamp to the APC. They think that will automatically make him deliver the state to Tinubu.

Obasanjo had him in his cabinet as FCT Minister 20 years ago and no one has been able to surpass his achievements. He remains the best FCT Minister till date. He is the standard by which subsequent Ministers are measured. Talk another one.

If political parties do not improve their internal politics this will keep happening . When a political party has no ideology, no strong Democratic internal processes, they can be taken over by others. What was PDP looking at when Wike was taking over party structures while his anti-party activities were glaring from the start? They were collecting money from him and kept him in the party until they could not remove him .

LP collapsed on itself because they had no strong leadership structure . Lets not forget that the issues.in the party predates Obi going to the party .

How comes ALL political parties suddenly became weak under Tinubu's regime? The last time political parties were this weak was under Sani Abacha. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Assuming but not conceding that he said so, is that why ICPC is detaining him without charge? Is ICPC now a court of law and is that part of their mandate? Whether or not he's guilty of that, it is still left for the courts to decide. The government attempted to arrest him at the airport when he voluntarily returned to the country and seized his passport without a court order. That was before the interview. ICPC failed to produce him in court on the day the DSS case was to be heard. Who is fooling who? Nigeria is not a banana republic.

Guy reason am. How can Atiku not have one person. Just one important and not the disgruntled Amaechi and Obi that wants the ADC ticket as well. How can Atiku not have Northern elites turn his house to Mecca in this Ramadan period? He's supposed to be the most important Northern leader now that Buhari is late.

You can save face all you want but Atiku is a bad leader and personality. He doesn't even have control of Adamawa. It's very shameful you support that kind of person. They'll leave you making excuses and before you know it you'll start sounding like a broken record. A.K.A failure.

Word salad. Tell Tinubu to stop seeking to destroy all opposition parties using apparatus of state and face his opponents at the polls.

Ignorance is a disease. The ruling party is sponsoring opponents and attempting to use fifth columnists and the compromised courts to take over the ADC as has been done to LP and PDP. But you can continue to bury your head in the sand.

He has 36 state governors but the paranoia is still palpable. Does Tinubu know something his minions don't? His only pathway to victory is to run unopposed but that will be impossible.

Indeed. Is it cowardice or fear whenever you lot try to extricate Tinubu from what he clearly does. Why then is Tinubu keeping him in detention illegally without charging him to court? Elrufai made Tinubu president and he will invariably unmake him. Illegal incarceration or not. Just wait and see. Didn't Tinubu just strike similar deal with Bala Mohammed. Before that there was Ifeanyi Okowa and Yahaya Bello. When state institutions become political tools to coerce opponents to toe the line, then we are becoming a dictatorship. Tinubu's only pathway to victory as at today, is to be the only candidate on the ballot but it will not happen.

Are Igbos allowed to vote in freely in Lagos? The governors of Edo and Sunday Igboho just warned Peter Obi and Atiku not to come campaign in their states and region and nothing has been done about it. If the Southeast doesn't vote Tinubu in 2027, where then will his voyes come from? Tinubu boycotted the Southeast in 2023 because he had Northern support. He is now desperate for a Southern solidarity because he knows his chances are getting slimmer in the North, but he didn't include the other South in projects and appointments when he ought to. No one is fooled. INEC has not lifted embargo on campaigns but APC have already commenced campaigns with blatant vote buying and attempts to induce electorates with peanuts.

What is Tinubu doing with his own share of the loans and increased revenue? 70% of the capital expenditure in 2025 budget was unfunded. Why are we still implementing 2024 and 2025 budgets in 2026 and when will the 2026 budget be signed into law? It's March already. Where is the money?

Sponsored article. It wasn't self annihilation when Seyi Makinde already told us how Tinubu met with him and Wike in Aso Rock where the deal to "hold down" opposition parties was brokered. It is too much of a coincidence that the PDP and LP that produced candidates with millions of votes barely 3 years ago are no longer viable platforms. It happened through state sponsored sabotage. No previous demicratic government came all out to destroy opposition parties until now.

Fastforward to 2026 and it's now clear what Osinbajo was trying to tell Nigerians. "Vote for who you know, don't vote for who you do not know". Why is Tinubu so desperate in being the only candidate on the ballot come 2027? This has never happened before. Elrufai who came all out to support Tinubu, how was he repaid?
