PoliticsRe: ADC Blames Tinubu For Kwara Killings by AMINDA: 7:29am On Feb 07
Delat521:
True talk bro. They're simply power drunk and they don't even know when to politicize or not. They are just throwing nonsensical comment at any slightest happening in the country. As if they would done better than that.

These are the so called opposition that solely focus on negativity always without even proffering solution to the problem like emphasising on state police and others. Bunch stupid ass hole just interested in power grab to loot. Birds of same feather.
"When it comes to issues of security, the bulk stops at the president's desk" - Tinubu to President Goodluck Jonathan

The president, along with virtually his entire cabinet, was at the wedding of Minister of Defence, Mattawale, yesterday. It's clear what their priorities are.

PoliticsRe: Over 160 Worshippers Abducted In Kaduna Regain Freedom by AMINDA:
eazzzy1:
People who were angry about the kidnap are now angry about the freedom. The uproar about the kidnap was only an avenue to blame Tinubu.

If only Ransom was paid for the chibok girls, they would have been home safe now. Nothing stops the government from going after the kidnappers even after ransom. The safety of life is the most important.
Just listen to yourself. Would it be the first time or should this now be normalised going forward? Do you know what the terrorists do with ransom money? They purchase more sophisticated weapons and move to new territories like Kwara. Here you are advocating for payment of ransom money because you don't want Tinubu to look incompetent. Terrorism must not be incentivised.
PoliticsRe: Over 160 Worshippers Abducted In Kaduna Regain Freedom by AMINDA: 3:43pm On Feb 05
How many terrorists were killed in the "rescue" operation? Or did the government just speak to them in the language that they understood. At this point, it's becoming a well-oiled business enterprise with government complicity. Rinse and repeat. "Ransomed" is not rescued.

PoliticsRe: INEC Registers 2 New Political Parties: DLA & NDC by AMINDA: 2:09pm On Feb 05
Same NDC that has long been touted as Wike's plan B for Rivers state? What are the criteria for just these two parties to be singled out for registration while several other requests remain pending? The electoral umpire must not just be fair and transparent but it must be seen to be fair and transparent.

PoliticsRe: INEC 'recognises' Wike-led PDP Faction by AMINDA: 1:31pm On Feb 05
DeclanR:
Is INEC not a branch of APC?

Why should anyone be surprised?
INEC just registered NDC and one other as new political parties. What's the criteria for selecting this two in favour of several other requests for registration? Everyone knows the NDC is Wike's plan B in Rivers state, incase APC insists kn Fubara. The question is why the favouritism from the electoral umpire?

PoliticsRe: Say No To “corner-corner” Support: Who Are They Deceiving—themselves Or The Wise by AMINDA: 1:26pm On Feb 05
AMINDA:
The reality is that both Fubara and Wike's support for Tinubu are corner corner because none of them knows who Tinubu will eventually betray in favour of the other. While Wike is allegedly propping up the NDC as a backup, Fubara is allegedly romancing the ADC via the backdoor. This is what happens when Tinubu tries to eat from two pots at the same time. He may eventually end up with nothing.
And today, INEC just registered the NDC, Wike's plan B, as a new political party along with one other. This is despite several applications for registration that has been submitted to the electoral umpire. Where is the neutrality and fairness?

PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Is Building Roads That Will Last For 100-150 Years by AMINDA: 12:06pm On Feb 05
commoditiesnig:
Welcome development.. indeed Concrete roads are most suited for our country terrain, esp the Southern part
Southern part, maybe. Northern part, no. Just like Umahi's concrete roads in Abakaliki, the ongoing concrete section by Infiouest in parts of Abuja-Kaduna Road are already beginning to fail, whereas the Julius Berger sections remain solid, smooth and urban. Julius Berger's asphalt technology is greater than Infiouest (Umahi's) concrete technology. Who advised Umahi to revoke that project from Julius Berger?

Lol. Flangelo12, do you even understand your own data? You simply proved how much Tinubu wrecked the economy within 3 years. Here's a better source in words.

PoliticsRe: 'pay Up Your Debt": APC Call Charges ADC Nat'l Leader, Odigie-oyegun by AMINDA:
yarimo:
This is the kind of dubious people ADC members like to be celebrating
He was the pioneer chairman of the APC. Did he become dubious before or after he joined the ADC? It is far more honorable to be shamed for being a debtor than to be accused of being a thief. It simply means he didn't pilfer from the public fund. The same cannot be said of the characters in the APC today where stealing has become a badge of honour
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Overtake Algeria, Become Africa’s Third Largest Economy In 2026 - IMF by AMINDA: 9:41am On Feb 05
Flangelo12:
You really wish it was not improving.
Buhari handed over a number one GDP at 447 billion dollars to Tinubu. Three years later, we are now expected to celebrate an "improvement" to 334 billion dollars to overtake Algeria at third. The "reforms" are working indeed. The jokes write themselves.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Overtake Algeria, Become Africa’s Third Largest Economy In 2026 - IMF by AMINDA: 8:59am On Feb 05
Flangelo12:
Yes, we should.

We've overtaken 1.
Dollar rate has also "improved" from 1500 to 1450. Let's throw a party.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Overtake Algeria, Become Africa’s Third Largest Economy In 2026 - IMF by AMINDA:
Are we supposed to celebrate a mere projection of overtaking Algeria from 4th to become 3rd? Africa is the only continent where the most populous country is not the largest economy and that happened under Tinubu's watch. Buhari handed over a Nigeria that was the largest economy in Africa. Is Nigeria better-off or worse-off than we were 3 years ago on all metrics? The jury is out there. Tinubu should just take Nigeria back to where he met her. This is retrogression, not progress.

You're well informed. That's their new modus operandi straight from WhatsApp.
PoliticsRe: Do You Pay Tax? Yet You Want World-class Health Care” – Reno Omokri by AMINDA: 9:49pm On Feb 04
Reno Omokri, the Ambassador to Nowhere, is correct. Lack of taxation is why federal health workers have been on strike for the past 3 months now with little to no media coverage and no end in sight.

PoliticsRe: Senate Didn’t Reject Electronic Transmission Of Results — Akpabio by AMINDA: 8:43pm On Feb 04
Will INEC now impose electronic transmission in some areas and not in some areas or it will be a blanket rule? APC's victory will be conditional on having electronic transmission. They need it even more than the opposition. They think they have perfected all plans. That's what the electronic APC membership and data collection is about. They are wrong! Wicknell Chivayo was recently received in Nigeria by Tinubu and Akpabio. Nothing is random.

Dude is so daft..

Imagine blaming Tinubu like say FG is not releasing health allocations..
What health allocations are they releasing? Are you even aware that federal health workers have been on strike for months now?

This news article was published on Businessday barely 3 hours ago. 99% of Tinubu's ministers are incompetent, underwhelming and lacklustre. So much for the man that was sold as having the ability to spot talents.

You've always been a tinubu supporter and stop denying the failure
I wonder why they always drop that line and try to disguise. Are they all ashamed of supporting Tinubu with their full chest?

@topic, you claim you want to support Nnamdi Kanu from within the government. The same government that sent him to jail. Doesn't that make you an accomplice. Sunday Igboho have been unconditionally pardoned, by the way. This is for the Easterners who keep saying Igbos don't need the presidency and making comments like, "let Tinubu continue instead". Even Buhari rather kept stalling the case than sending Kanu to prison.

80% of all elected incumbents are already in APC. It’s time to bring in the few former this and that who still have some few value.
I never knew former this and former that had any value at all. That wasn't what you told us. Maybe only the ones who decamp to APC have "few value." The ones heading to ADC have no value at all. Just a gentle reminder that APC had 25 governors in 2023 but only won 6 APC states excluding Lagos. Time is a gentleman.
PoliticsRe: Two Senators From Taraba Officially Defected From The PDP To APC by AMINDA: 8:12pm On Feb 04

No now, don’t start changing the narrative. They are all joining APC to make sure the party will lose in 2027 and they will takeover the defeated party. Don’t be ashamed of your Obidient logic grin grin grin
Okay. Wasn't that on the Pantami thread? Did he ever leave the APC? Don't just come back in 2027 to say Pantami never voted Tinubu. We will remind you of your comments celebrating his "stay" in the APC.
PoliticsRe: US Support Against Terror Won’t Undermine Nigeria’s Sovereignty – APC by AMINDA: 8:07pm On Feb 04
If it does, what can Tinubu do about it? Does he have a choice? Akpabio boldly sat before the Senate and mentioned that he's scared of Trump and don't want no smoke. Even Tinubu stayed back in Nigeria for a long time after Trump's threats until he capitulated to all demands and got the all clear. Only to go fall face flat in Turkey.

Do we now celebrate and accept "former this and former that?" I thought that was an ADC thing? Lol. Here you are celebrating Suswam's defection but you told us Donald Duke is a nobody because he's a former governor.
PoliticsRe: Death Toll In Kwara Terrorists Attack Rises To 162 by AMINDA: 7:44pm On Feb 04
DW Africa, a foreign media, is reporting it while our local media have all been compromised and placed on payroll to suppress news. As usual, Tinubu will be making no single comment on this. His handlers might even hide the news from him.
