seunmsg:Okay. Wasn't that on the Pantami thread? Did he ever leave the APC? Don't just come back in 2027 to say Pantami never voted Tinubu. We will remind you of your comments celebrating his "stay" in the APC. |
If it does, what can Tinubu do about it? Does he have a choice? Akpabio boldly sat before the Senate and mentioned that he's scared of Trump and don't want no smoke. Even Tinubu stayed back in Nigeria for a long time after Trump's threats until he capitulated to all demands and got the all clear. Only to go fall face flat in Turkey. |
seunmsg:Do we now celebrate and accept "former this and former that?" I thought that was an ADC thing? Lol. Here you are celebrating Suswam's defection but you told us Donald Duke is a nobody because he's a former governor. |
DW Africa, a foreign media, is reporting it while our local media have all been compromised and placed on payroll to suppress news. As usual, Tinubu will be making no single comment on this. His handlers might even hide the news from him. |
seunmsg:Why not tell us how they are going over to be handed automatic tickets while the loyal older APC members with ambitions that have been building the party are left holding the shortend of the stick and expected not to work against the party. |
inoki247:Which is why we say we will all learn politics together. Tinubu does not own the APC. An aspirant choosing to pursue his political ambition in the APC is not tantamount to supporting Tinubu. He's already falling face flat in Turkey, what's the worst that can happen? |
seunmsg:This is the major reason why most Buhari supporters will no longer be voting Tinubu in 2023. The lies and rewriting of history after winning. Who exactly are the Buhari cabals? Same Buhari that voted Tinubu and showed his ballot? Same Buhari that had to do a video before the election? Were the cabals more cabal than the likes of Elrufai that inspired Northerners to vote Tinubu and even took CBN to court during cash crunch? How else did you think Tinubu managed to get 5.6m votes? Which is over 2 times higher than the votes he got from the entire South. |
seunmsg:Contrary to what you all think, Tinubu does not own the APC even though he tried to scheme all other blocs that formed the APC out in favour of ACN. Someone has to stay behind and rebuild the party to its original ideals once Tinubu is voted out in 2027. |
Okay o. We will all learn politics together. |
happney65:A little correction. Obasanjo didn't construct the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Buhari did it. |
Security is barely improving. They have only placed a media embargo on reportage with only few media outfits still reporting on insecurity. As far as APC is concerned, if it isn't reported then it never happened. |
You are giving kudos to NRC, good and fine. That's one among the 3 major legacies of Late President Buhari in the Southwest. The other two were Second Niger Bridge (delivered) and Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway. Those are concrete evidence of where the Chinese loans went towards. Can we please see commensurate infrastructure by Tinubu in the North or where his Worldbank loans went towards? Buhari completed the other two outside his region while hoping his successor will complete the one in the North. Rather, Umahi came onboard and revoked the Abuja-Kaduna Road from Julius Berger while awarding it to an obscure company called Infiouest. You need to see the substandard job they are currently doing there all in the guise of concrete road. |
Spatta:Who are these experts? Are they ghosts? Or are you talking about Wale Edun, who has just been tactically sidelined, and Yemi Cardoso? |
ayoncox:We are now bowing to imperialism and impoverishing our people just for a pat on the back from Bretton woods. No third world country will escape the poverty trap without home-grown and tailored policies that factor in their own peculiarities. |
ayoncox:Is it a coincidence that Tinubu has resuscitated the Structural Adjustment Programme while renaming it as Renewed Hope Reforms? |
seunowa:IBB's government was a Saint compared to the heist currently going on under this government. Despite record-breaking loans and much touted revenue, we are currently implementing 3 budgets concurrently due to paucity of funds. This has never happened before. |
Let us see his giant strides in agriculture. 80% of the source of livelihood in the North is agriculture. |
muykem:Why not mention just one country that has attained development by blanketly following the policies of the Worldbank and IMF as Tinubu is currently doing. Just one please. I recommend you go read the book, "Confessions of an Economic Hitman." Also, go study what the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) did to Nigeria under IBB. |
Worldbank official? The desperation and quest to always seek validation from Worldbank and IMF would have been funny if it wasn't so pathetic. "Confessions of an Economic Hitman." |
Watch all Agbadorians who earlier supported SRJ and went up in arms against Wike do a 360 and begin to sing his praises. These people have no mind of their own. They are morally flexible. |
Funny. Nothing wey we no go see for Agbado Bureau of Statistics hand. Is this also one of the achievements of Tinubu? |
Makinde and Wike are both playing a script. The script was to destroy the PDP for Tinubu, which they have both succeeded in doing. Unfortunately, it offered them no advantage and has rather united all opposition under one umbrella. They never saw that one coming. |
You mean the same snake oil merchant that supported Wike in all his excesses until recently when he began to attack him when it seemed he was going rogue against the APC? He's now back to supporting Wike again having seen that Wike may be gaining the upper hand against Fubara. To him and the rest of the other snake oil merchants, there's no right or wrong. It just depends on whether you standing on the mandate or not. |
Burob:If the North voted Tinubu despite not knowing anything about his background but for the sole reason of aligning with Buhari to remove Jonathan, why won't the North vote Peter Obi? It's just that with the North, it's strictly politics. Nothing goes for nothing. |
SadiqBabaSani:Much ado about nothing. Who made Tinubu president with 5.6m votes? The North. Who's currently Tinubu's Vice? The North. Who will Tinubu be handing over to if he manages to win re-election? The North. Who will Tinubu be relying upon to win his re-election? The North. Who did Tinubu align with to get Jonathan, his Southern brother, out of power? The North. Don't bother about the North. They can take care of themselves. All you should be asking is "what's in it for my people?" Tinubu will not campaign in the East if he's assured of Northern support today. He didn't campaign in the Southeast in 2023. There is no possible permutation where the North loses out completely. |
djseanjohn77:Okay baby boomer. Is Wike a member of the APC? |
TokoEkambi:Many will also leave the APC after the primaries, yes? Or is this only applicable to the ADC? |
So Tinubu is playing politics of different strokes for different folks? Where then is the fairness and what's the political ideology of the APC under Tinubu. Shettima goes to all the other states to say that governors are the political leaders of their states but in Rivers, Wike is a sacred cow right? Posterity will not be on the side of Tinubu and the rest of the snake oil merchants. |
What does it matter since all the state governors are now in the APC? Who will hold them accountable if they choose to embezzle the money as most are currently doing while playing sycophant to the president? |
Infrastructure are not just done to cater to present demand. They are done with future expansion and population implosion in mind. Lagos was planned with the then current realities in mind. They didn't factor future increase in mind and it's now more expensive or impossible to do so. Abuja learnt from Lagos's mistake. |
IkeOnyia:If Peter Obi does not contest in two future electoral cycles, he still wouldn't be as old as Tinubu currently is. And we are talking real ages here, not football age. He will also be much fitter too. |
blamingthedevil:Don't forget, Malami was an accomplished lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria before becoming AGF. He has told you how he earned the 10 billion naira. The onus is on you to disprove it. I thought the EFCC said he stole 250 billion, why are they now sueing him to court for 8 billion. Anyways, we will also interrogate Tinubu's sources of income and how he made his money as soon as he leaves office in 2027. |
