Afolabimills:Okay Afolabi. Are you also in Kano? |
yarimo:You wish. Behind the laughing emoji, I sense fear. Kwankwasiyya has seen a surge in membership thanks to Tinubu. Even some prior APC supporters in Kano will be pledging allegiance to Kwankwaso because Tinubu betrayed Ganduje and Barau too by accepting Abba into the APC. https://x.com/KwankwasoRM/status/2015423234246680956 |
fredoooooo:Same Ganduje that has migrated to London on exile? He was supposed to be on ground to receive the governor into APC today. He also feels betrayed by Tinubu because he suspects that Kwankwasiyya is now fully in charge of Kano with the governor’s defection. Tinubu does not listen to advise. We know he's panicking but he should have maintained the status quo in Kano and Rivers. |
God save us! I hope the Southwestern youths are not slowly becoming the actual ones who wake up their parents from bed with a sliding tackle? |
Odin13:We tried to warn Tinubu and his lackeys that it was better off maintaining the status quo in Kano and empowering Barau and Ganduje but greed will not let them listen. Now, he won't even get the same level of commitment and drive from Ganduje and Barau bloc anymore because their cold reception shows that they also feel betrayed by Tinubu. The reverberation will extend beyond Kano down to other Northern states including parts of the South where Kwankwasiyya structures exist. First Elrufai and now this, Tinubu has sealed his reputation in the North as a betrayer. |
Are the cracks beginning to show already? It's obvious that Tinubu can no longer stand Shettima and will be dropping him but that will be a very grave mistake. I expect Agbadorians to go on an attacking spree against Shettima once that happens. Just as they have done against Wike. |
Funny. APC cannot win Plateau state in 2027. |
Oga Fergie001 and nlfpmod, abeg come see something. |
Yobabad:They are honest men earning an honest living and making ends meet in the hostile economic environment that Tinubu has created. How about you and how much do you have in your bank account? |
Cti28:Correct. Umahi revoked that contract from Julius Berger who were doing a fantastic job with a new asphalt technology with 50-year lifespan, just to give it to an obscure company called Infiouest for almost the same cost. You don’t need to be a proffessor-in-practice engineer to see that the quality of work being done is now substandard. |
Jagora! This mammoth crowd is from only one local government in Kano out of 44 others. Abba na Tinubu Kano ta Kwankwasiyya Lessons will be learnt.
|
As it should be. Atiku is probably one of the fewest Democrats remaining in this country. He believes in open and fair contests without discrimination nor violence. Kwankwaso is welcome to the ADC. |
IkeOnyia:Be deceiving yourself. You will be shocked by the level of anti-party that will take place within the APC nationwide. |
seunmsg:You better pray that happens then. Otherwise, Tinubu is toast right? We will all learn politics together! |
LegendHero:And a brand new governor as well, come 2027. |
seunmsg:The extremist and tribalist is the one who ran on muslim-muslim ticket and then ethnicised his government while screaming "turn of the South." |
Nawao. Is this how we are going to deliver Kano to Tinubu in 2023? Even Ganduje has absconded to London to avoid receiving Abba while Barau is yet to make a statement. Abba was scheduled to defect to APC today but Ganduje has gone on exile to London. Who will now receive him into the party? Lessons! Abba na Tinubu Kano ta Kwankwasiyya |
Bentacur007:Don't mind them. The same exodus will happen in the APC close to primaries for candidates who will fall out of favour. APC's own will be worse because defectors will be prioritised over loyal party members. |
seunmsg:Bookmarked. We will back after the elections, God willing, to compare notes. |
|
Agreed. Tinubu should immediately step aside and support Peter Obi. It's the turn of the Southeast. There's an ocean of difference between Emi lokan and "turn of the South" |
Are the people of Akwa Ibom aware of this? |
Fergie001, nlfpmod. Frontpage please. |
Out desperation to prove to Tinubu that he's working, Gbajabiamila is costing the president more embarrassment. When would it finally dawn on them that Tinubu has no pathway to re-election in 2027? |
Where is Taiwo Oyodele who told us otherwise? Transparency is a very important ingredient in the social contract. We are not living in George Orwell's Animal Farm. |
Both Shehu Sani and Reno Omokri now parrot the same clichés like it's a paid gig. Nigerians want to see results. Not savage responses from pen-for-hires. |
Lol. Men mount on top Agbadorians matter o. Rather, this was what Obasanjo said about Tinubu.
|
johannu:You people only know divisive politics. Tinubu chose a Northern Muslim in 2023 because he needed Northern Muslim votes. It was 100% his decision and he did it with his clear eyes. You don’t have to pitch Muslims against Christians now that the ticket is no longer viable. |
Mods, another fake news. Please close down the thread. |
johannu:Did anybody put a gun to his head and insist that he must choose an Hausa/Fulani muslim? Did anybody force him when he was chasing after Kwankwaso like a jilted lover and courting him to become his Vice (before Trump)? Didn't he do so because he needed to secure his 5.6m votes from the North? No one is forcing him to choose a hausa/fulani muslim as Vice. Just as no one can force anyone to vote how they please. We are in a democracy and Tinubu is not a victim. He's an accomplice. |
