johannu:Did anybody put a gun to his head and insist that he must choose an Hausa/Fulani muslim? Did anybody force him when he was chasing after Kwankwaso like a jilted lover and courting him to become his Vice (before Trump)? Didn't he do so because he needed to secure his 5.6m votes from the North? No one is forcing him to choose a hausa/fulani muslim as Vice. Just as no one can force anyone to vote how they please. We are in a democracy and Tinubu is not a victim. He's an accomplice. |
Seeplusplus:No be una again? When Tinubu eventually replaces Shettima, you will be here again with another justification from the WhatsApp group on why that's a master strategy. |
RichBoy247:Is that how you're going to spin obvious pressure from America on Tinubu for him to balance his ticket? Do you think anyone will buy the narrative that Tinubu changing his deputy to a christian is suddenly because he cares about Christians. Why was he chasing after Kwankwaso until Trump happened? So it's now Shettima's boys that are behind insecurity? Was Tinubu aware of this before choosing him as Vice or did he do so because he wanted Shettima to negotiate with the bandits? Is the APC government not already negotiating with the bandits? What more do you want Shettima to do in terms of negotiations? |
Legacy is achieved, not claimed. Umahi who was Buhari’s sycophant until the end of his tenure publicly declared that Buhari never did anything for the Southeast. Today, all the projects he claims as Tinubu's handwork are infact, Buhari’s projects. |
fergie001:You are correct. He fears his moves are being monitored. The trust deficit between the president and V.P is too wide for Tinubu to continue with him in 2027. Tinubu never trusts his Vice. He changed deputies twice as governor of Lagos. |
Where is Fayose who told us Makinde went to beg Tinubu in Aso Rock? It appears to be Vice versa, seeing that Tinubu also met Olubadan the next day. Makinde continues to swing at Tinubu and appears he won't be taking any prisoners. In Osun, Tinubu is withholding local government allocations to strangle Adeleke while Lagos state remains a swing state. Tinubu cannot win the Southwest in a landslide come 2027. |
The circular was prematurely leaked. Wait until after the elections. |
"Miracle centres" will be the end of us all. |
Moroccoguy:We know he always goes through corners and uses his well oiled lackeys and media machineries. Didn't he go to Abeokuta and call the Ogun state governor "Eleyi" for wanting to betray him? |
Keep chasing shadows. Obi is in the ADC. |
Contrary to what his Nairaland lackeys say, Tinubu will face very stiff opposition in 2027, even from the Southwest. The coast is still not clear yet in Lagos, Osun and now Oyo in 2027. He cannot win the Southwest in a landslide. |
OLABAMIJI99:Tinubu can try it but he will lose Northern Muslim votes without necessarily gaining christian votes. Tinubu and Shettima have long fallen out with each other. They are just going through with the motions and putting up a farce. Tinubu attempted to rid himself from Shettima and potentially set him up against the masses by banishing him away to the 25 billion naira V.P residence built by Wike but Shettima stubbornly refused to relocate. All the additional drama of tax bill, comments on Rivers state of emergency, etc are all pointers to the nature of their strained relationship. |
Tinubu is stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea as far as Shettima and the muslim-muslim ticket is concerned. America is reportedly breathing heavily down his neck to balance his ticket. But even his ministers are beginning to sound the alarm bells if he dares drop Shettima. APC is in disarray!

alfajohn:Lol. Tinubu got well over one million votes in Kano in 2023? Kindly check again. Northerners voted Tinubu in 2023, even though Agbadorians later turned around to ethnicise his presidency and claimed the North didn't vote for him while betraying many who made that possible. It remains to be seen whether he can replicate his 2023 numbers. |
Daguccizgreat:Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. |
NgeneUkwenu:NgeneUkwenu, my sister. You are doing a poor job hiding your panic. ADC is here to stay and the party's momentum will be too unprecedented for rigging to succeed in 2027. |
Daguccizgreat:You know this. Obi's move is a checkmate, ain't gonna lie! |
The panic is becoming palpable. Tinubu has begun to push his non-performing ministers and other appointees to get to work. They can see that APC is fast losing momentum and nationwide appeal among the voting electorates. |
ratcock:Really? I remember Sullivan Chime. Another silent achiever. The East has had its fair share of very intelligent, astute administrators, especially Enugu state. Ugwanyi set the state backwards. If only someone had consolidated on Sullivan's strides in governance. |
Menclothing1:There is only one constant here. All of them (including Uba Sani) were encouraged and induced by Tinubu to betray their benefactors so he can cut them to size. Master strategist or master of betrayals? |
What are the state of all the concrete roads Umahi constructed in Ebonyi state? Virtually all of them have failed. Man is just obsessed with concrete roads like a bad workman with only a hammer in his toolkit. |
Emb33:Say no more. All Southerners who eventually move to the North barely want to leave afterwards. Life is better in the North, forget all the stereotypes. It takes one who has lived in both regions to arrive at this conclusion. Who no go, no go know. @topic, it's very suspicious that a documentary on begging in Kano has quickly been put together shortly after international livestreamer, ishowspeed, exposed Lagos for being the begging capital of the world. Smells like APC handiwork to me.
|
I must confess, Governor Mbah is getting it right. I like forward thinking intelligent administrators. Kudos! |
SadiqBabaSani:But Tinubu is not stopping at that. He also wants Obi, Jonathan, Seyi Makinde and other Southerners to stay off the presidential ticket and have even gone further to destroy their political parties. Does he want to be the only candidate on the ballot in 2027? Well, he will not succeed. |
SadiqBabaSani:Okay, fair enough. Abba Kabir will deliver Kano to Tinubu in 2027. Na here we gather dey. |
SpaceX:Are you sure you are not talking about Lagos? |
collins2good:So why was Tinubu chasing him all over the place for months and even sacked Ganduje as chairman of APC to pave way for his defection? Kwankwaso turned his back on the deal because America has allegedly instructed Tinubu to balance his ticket with a christian. Otherwise, Tinubu was willing to drop Shettima for Kwankwaso.
|
givedemwotowoto:Obi is a founding member of the coalition. The idea for all opposition figures to unite was his idea and he has maintained that he's not desperate to be president even though he's overly qualified. Obi will play the politics and all aspirants will queue behind the eventual winner of the primaries. Obidients (not Agbadorians pretending to be one) need to manage their expectations and trust their principal. The stakes in 2027 is too monumental to be fumbled with. |
kettykin:Don't mind the snake oil salesman. He ran on Kwankwaso's political machinery in 2019 and 2023 but now claims no one but God, made him governor. Meanwhile, this was Kwankwaso with the governor outside the INEC collation center on the night of the election, protecting their votes. So dark the con of man!
|
Are you sure? Why then have you started empowering data boys and social media influencers with motorcycles for propaganda? Seunmsg, if you are in Kano, come and collect your own o. Mobilisation has come!
