Tinubu’s popularity may be overrated after all, even in the Southwest. If his own party will have to resort to all these underhand tactics just to win an election, it says a lot. Politicians were winning elections in the North, free and fair, just by aligning with Buhari. Tinubu is resorting to federal might to reclaim his own ancestral homestate in which Atiku defeated him in 2023. You can't buy love neither can you copy respect!

What national convention when the party already has presidential candidates and other elective positions uploaded on the INEC portal? The NADECO democracy legacy of factionalisation continues to take roots.

What a criminally minded fellow. What are the DSS waiting for? Are arrests only meant for Accord and other opposition members?

I wasn't blind to the part where you attempted to justify his comment, despite knowing it was inappropriate. Continue to provide excuses for a man that has already backtracked and is now trying to do damage control for an obvious crime.

Politics › Re: Reactions As Soludo Set To Demolish Late Senator Ubah's Former Filling Station by AMINDA: 7:02pm On Aug 11
As long as the property is on the right of way or will be fully compensated for, if otherwise. No property is beyond demolishing if it is for the greater good. It only becomes a bad thing if it is outright vendetta.

The Senators comment though inappropriate is being blown out of context. He was talking about Accord members who have been going about killing APC members and he followed it up by saying that if they catch any of the Accord killers, they will kill them. We should try and understand the context in which he made the comment.
Assuming but not conceding that that was what he said which we all know it wasn't, is he now a law unto himself that will unilaterally proclaim death on accord members in response to whatever? You all will provide justification for any crime and even allow anyone get away with murder as long as they pledge support to APC. I hope you all know Nigeria will still be here long after Tinubu leaves power?

You are the one a Muslim Muslim ticket bothers and God so good not every Nigerian is like you and not even majority xtians reason the way you do......I am a xtian and I am less bothered about Muslim Muslim ticket.
Because your tribal sentiments are stronger than your affiliation to any religion, which makes it even worse. Can you swear that you aren't a Yorubaman from the Southwest?
Politics › Re: Kwankwaso Knocks Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir Over Divisive Comments by AMINDA: 6:47pm On Aug 11
Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket is becoming like a pariah in the core North. Come 2027, there may be more Christians lining up to vote Tinubu’s muslim-muslim ticket than there will be Muslims.

Politics › Re: How Giringori Is Appeasing Muslims And Stirring Islamophobia Amongst Christians by AMINDA: 6:40pm On Aug 11
The question is, why is Tinubu providing a fertile ground for Islamophobia to blossom by running a muslim-muslim ticket in a highly diverse entity like Nigeria? Some of his lackeys say it's because he couldn't find a Northern Christian popular enough to win an election. Is that true?
Politics › Re: EU Pulls Back From Nigeria’s 2027 Election After Two Decades Of Observer Mission by AMINDA: 6:37pm On Aug 11
Whatever he touches, dies. ECOWAS also got balkanized under his watch. The true story on why they are leaving may soon become clear. Now, they can have a field day killing their own kinfolk just to grab power.

Tinubu had the right to prop up a northerner against gej in 2011 because gej was usurping the tenure of the north which they lost trough years adua's death, thats fairness he even supported atiku another northerner in 07 against the interest of his fellow westerner, obj!!

Tinubu never ran against buhari or GEj in person despite having all the means to, so stop the gaslighting and spinning truth on its head.
Really? So he supported Atiku against the interest of his own Southwestern brother, Obasanjo? Pray tell, why did he do so? Is it perhaps because he wanted to court the support of the North preparatory to advancing his own ambition? Why then has he unleashed his lackeys on the likes of Seyi Makinde, Aregbesola, Osinbajo, Fayemi, etc and branding them betrayers for refusing to support him? Does Seyi Makinde, for example, owe Tinubu anything? Why does Tinubu feel entitled to his support when he himself never supported Obasanjo all through his 8 years as President?

Forget about Davido for a minute. The APC is resorting to killing their own kinfolk just to reclaim Osun which Tinubu lost to Atiku in 2023. Is that what he meant when he said "all is fair in politics?"

Nigeria na North and South.
Under what section of the constitution is that? Tinubu fielded Ribadu against Jonathan under ACN in 2011. Ojukwu also contested the 2007 elections under APGA after 8 years of a Southern Obasanjo presidency. Where was North and South then? Zoning remains an internal arrangement of political parties. It always has been.

This one has sold his soul to the devil.
He even went further to brand himself and his principal as infidels. All because of the desperation for the Hausa-Fulani Muslim votes whom they will still turn around to betray after winning. It's not worth it because Northern muslims have already figured them out.

Politics › Re: Senator Fadahunsi: Kill Any Accord Party Member You See (Davido Shares Video) by AMINDA: 5:45pm On Aug 11
The Tinubu government and the security agencies will continue to unlook despite the Senator having no immunity. It is this culture of having different rules for different individuals according to their political affiliations that has become the hallmark of the Tinubu regime.

Lithiumite:
Why didn't atiku getvthe votes from his brothers upnorth instead of a southerner in tinubu, its simply because he lacks the quality to galvanise a winning formula, leadership is a copious quality he lacks when it matters most which he has proven since 99.

Tinubu would have done far better if mot for the sabotage which atiku and obi heavily benefitted from, you can argue with ur keyboard on this.

You can deny all you want, the tinubu/shettima ticket is by far more formidable going into 27 than it was in 23 while atiku cant boast of same for himself even his erstwhile Vice have long left him to his self delusion, what does that tell you about him.

El rufai can equally go to hell, tinubu doesn't need him, someone who couldn't win his state for him while he was giv of what use is he now as a prisoner.
Because until betrayed, Northerners will always pay their debts. It was convenient to support Atiku in 2023 to maintain power in the North but Northerners chose to keep their word and support Tinubu instead, in payment for his support to Buhari. Unfortunately, he won and turned against those whom helped him to power. It's typical of your kind to ask ElRufai to go to hell today but Tinubu actually begged him publicly on stage in Kaduna to help make him president and he actually did. The formidability of Tinubu's desperate muslim-muslim ticket will be tested in 2027. Time is a gentleman.

Where as that left your atiku, biting the dust as always, its not do or die but he had premium tears to shed after loosing.......the opposition is in disarray today due to atiku's lack of leadership and political brinkmanship......thats a great character flaw.

Its not do or die,why can’t he rally behind obi from SE,a region that's never produced even the vp of this country since 99,thats not atiku's way,he never plays second fiddle,it must be him and thats why he keeps meeting his Waterloo......he is coming a distant 3rd in 27.
Atiku’s Northeast has also never produced a President. Tinubu's Southwest have had 8 years of Obasanjo as president, 8 years of Osinbajo as Vice and now 4 years of Tinubu as President. Why doesn't he step aside instead and support Obi, a Southerner that was actually voted for by the South? He even had to betray his Southern brother, Jonathan to ascend to power. Why does he need an additional 4 years of presidency for the Southwest? Is that fair? It's the turn of the South, but which of the South?
Politics › Re: Jingir: North Needs Good Governance, Not Religious Ticket – Group by AMINDA: 5:26pm On Aug 11
Tinubu's muslim-muslim ticket is becoming like a pariah in the core North. Come 2027, he may have more Christians lining up to vote for the ticket than Muslims. Attempts to make it a Muslim vs Christian affair is falling flat on its face. Lessons!

He atleast won borno,in a direct contest with atiku from same region.....okowa wasn't contesting with anyone in SS but couldn't even win his own state.......its common knowledge how the tinubu/shettima ticket was sabotaged by even those within their party but that ticket is far more formidable now going into 27 than it was in 23 while that of atiku has grown weaker, now he is jetisoning an obi for an amechi that can't even win his village in ubima......atiku's ego and lack of political pragmatism is his greatest undoing.....always putting tge wrong foot forward .
Somebody is unpopular, you say he was sabotaged. Did Tinubu win Lagos which he governed for 8 years and Osun, his ancestral state? Was he also sabotaged in those two Southwestern states? The sabotage must have cut across the entire South because he only won 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states. The North made him President and he has the likes of Elrufai to thank for that. The work they did for him in the North to get the margins he got was as difficult as selling liquor in the middle of Mecca but he turned out to be ungrateful.

Atiku picked okowa,he lost delta and the entire SS didn't even come 2nd......atiku picked obi in 19 he still lost, rather than try as much as possible to stick to that ticket,he jettisoned it because of pride........he was so full of himself he couldn't work with GEJ,he so lacked foresight, he ditched tinubu after offering him a platform when he was chased out of pdp......his ego never teaches him to stoop to conquer, thats why he is still wandering like a boat without a compass lost at sea......atiku can never be president.
Tinubu picked Shettima and only won Borno with a margin of less than 10,000 votes out of the entire Northeast. The North gave Tinubu 5.6m votes but it wasn't necessarily because of the political dexterity of Shettima.

Says the guy that lobbied to be Vice to Atiku after getting defeated in the primaries, only to be passed up on due to his power-hungry personality. He now turned around to start shouting "turn of the South" by sabotaging his party. Amaechi got for free what you lobbied desperately for. Atiku has made it clear that he rather loses the election than select you as Vice. He is ambitious to become president but it's not a do-or-die affair for him. Move on!
