PoliticsRe: Bandits Storm National Park Service Office In Oyo, Kill Five Personnel. by AMINDA: 1:18pm On Jan 07
The legacy of APC. Meanwhile, Tinubu is in France, trying different menus with Paul Kagame.
PoliticsRe: PDP Alive, Strong – Jonathan by AMINDA: 11:22am On Jan 07
doncartel:
If Adc and Pdp both contest the election, then Apc is likely to win. That’s why Gej, Atiku and Obi should sit down together and choose one person among themselves that they will all support.

Or they just want a repeat of 2023.
Not correct. Tinubu quickly threw Ganduje under the bus to placate Kwankwaso and court him when talks about his alliance with Jonathan gained traction. That was the same period when the likes of Bayo Onanuga and even Bishop Kukah were throwing the kitchen and sink at Jonathan and posturing as his emergency special adviser. Jonathan being in the race can only upset Tinubu's plans unlike in 2023 because the North will no longer save his behind with 5.6m votes.
PoliticsRe: PDP Alive, Strong – Jonathan by AMINDA: 11:17am On Jan 07
alanto:
Lol. You guys just want to finish Obidients with confusion. How will they know who to support now?
Jonathan
Obi
Atiku
Kwankwaso
El Rufai.

The confusion is real.
The more the merrier. If Jonathan throws his hat in the ring and contests with a Kwankwaso as Vice, he will not only revive the PDP but Tinubu will come a distant third. The Southsouth will vote their son while the few Northern and middlebelt votes Tinubu may be banking on will swing to Jonathan. Tinubu will end up garnering votes from only half of the Southwest.
PoliticsRe: Kano Political Earthquake As State Governor Invites Red Caps To Welcome Ganduje by AMINDA: 8:48am On Jan 07
Richtaiwo:
I already know Pitobi supporters don’t read, which is precisely why I don’t bother responding to their mentions. Anything longer than half a page tends to overwhelm them, apparently, comprehension becomes an issue at that point.

Still, I can’t help but marvel at how a simple letter of invitation can trigger such monumental confusion. Honestly, how hard can reading be? Haba! Is life truly this complicated in some quarters, or is effort now considered oppression? What is it that is confusing you in that simple letter?
This is the mood in Kano right now. Lessons.

PoliticsRe: Kano Political Earthquake As State Governor Invites Red Caps To Welcome Ganduje by AMINDA: 8:24am On Jan 07
Richtaiwo:
I honestly don’t understand why Obi supporters are like this. Ask them a simple question about their own camp, and suddenly you’re told to “go and find out” about someone else’s business, as if Google is now a political party.

Now I’m expected to announce the date Governor Abba will defect, an event the governor himself hasn’t even settled on yet. Somehow, I’m supposed to have insider information he doesn’t. But ask them just one gentle question about Pitobi, and they’ll insult you so thoroughly you’ll start checking if your ancestors also offended them.

The funniest part? Even if I miraculously conjure a date from thin air, the insults will still follow. The opening line is always predictable: “You people are becoming desperate.” Desperate how, exactly? This is an internal Kano matter involving Abba and Kano people. I don’t know how I got drafted into it, not to mention accused of desperation.

Honestly, the confidence is impressive, facts optional, insults compulsory. Nawao.
I only read the first two paragraphs. If the governor has not decided on a date, why are Agbadorians then celebrating fake flyers with non-existent dates that they conjured. I thought his defection was slated for this past Monday? What changed? Is he developing cold feet? Lessons!
PoliticsRe: Mike Arnold Asks Reno Omokri If He Has Collected Tinubu's Urine Sample by AMINDA:
If a man insults me and dares me to take him to court and I respond by offering him money and appointment, it doesn't mean I have won him over to my side. It simply means I was guilty ab-initio of the accusation.

PoliticsRe: How Money Was Shared During Wike Visit To Akulga by AMINDA: 8:11am On Jan 07
APC does the same whenever Tinubu calls for a rally or visits a state. Tinubu and Wike have no single organic supporter. Every single supporter they garner is for a fee.
PoliticsRe: ADC Will Implode Immediately After Their Presidential Primaries by AMINDA:
Lol. This one hasn't slept a wink ever since Obi declared for the ADC. Everything is settled. We will all learn politics together.

seunmsg:
We are going to be here when Ganduje and Barau Jibrin will accompany Abba Yusuf to pick up his APC membership card. Trust me, I’m going to drink your salty tears all day 🤣 grin grin
Or rather I will drink yours. That will not be the win you think it is but I will not explain. We will all learn politics together. But in the meantime, continue to celebrate fake posters. Tinubu will for the umpteenth time sacrifice the political ambition of Barau and Gawuna in a bid to secure his own re-election. What manner of selfishness is that? It can only result to the Wike and Fubara way.
PoliticsRe: Kano Political Earthquake As State Governor Invites Red Caps To Welcome Ganduje by AMINDA: 7:36am On Jan 07
Richtaiwo:
So the famed Kwankwasiyya red-cap brigade is now lining up to honour the arrival of Ganduje? Well, that spectacle may as well be the final nail in the coffin of Kwankwaso’s political career. When your trademark loyalists start paying homage to your arch-rival, the obituary practically writes itself.

As for Tinubu, he operates with a simple philosophy, first, he offers the carrot. If you refuse it, he calmly reminds you that his restraint was never weakness, it was courtesy. He knows exactly when to switch gears.

At this stage, there is no rewind button and no alternate ending. The curtain has fallen. Kwankwaso would do well to accept reality, retreat quietly, and lick his wounds in peace, because the political arena has clearly moved on without him.
You all are becoming too desperate, it's pathetic to see. The red cap is an insignia of the Kwankwasiyya Movement. Can you still parade the red cap about without the consent nor approval of Kwankwaso, the owner of the movement? That is akin to shaving a man's head in his absence. Tell us the date that Abba will be defecting to the APC. Lessons!
PoliticsRe: Kano Political Earthquake As State Governor Invites Red Caps To Welcome Ganduje by AMINDA: 7:28am On Jan 07
seunmsg:
Aminda, come and donate small salty tears as usual. I need to drink some hot tears this morning grin grin grin
Lol. Is this the fake news you are celebrating? Check Thursday's date again, compare with the flyer and see whether your incompetent Agbadorian flyer designer has not rubbed mud on your faces. You are becoming too desperate to have Abba Kabir but Tinubu is apparently smarter than you. He keeps stalling his move while he continues to beg Kwankwaso.
PoliticsRe: Apc Governors Will Stand With Gov Fubara Against Any Oppression - Hope Uzodima by AMINDA: 3:07am On Jan 07
There it is! APC have been successfully factionalised. Tinubu left it too late. Whoever he eventually sides with will cost the APC dearly.
PoliticsRe: 2027: I Will Step Down For No One - Atiku by AMINDA: 11:27pm On Jan 06
seunmsg:
Peter Obi delusional supporters will come here to blame Atiku’s decision on Tinubu grin grin grin

Dele Momodu earlier today tactically called for the expulsion of Peter Obi from ADC. Instead of Obidients to read between the lines, they started attacking Tinubu. Now, Atiku has followed it up with a clear and categorical statement that he’s not stepping down for anybody. The days of pretending is over. They are clearly telling Peter Obi, stay with us and get VP or get the fvck out of our party.

At least, all those coming up with funny ADC combinations like “Obi/Tambuwal”, Obi/El-Rufai, “Obi/Kwakwanso” etc can now rest. Atiku owns ADC and he’s going to be the party candidate.
Why are you hyperventilating all over the place? Obi himself clarified on his twitter space that no one will be stepping down for anyone and they will all support whoever emerges. I know Tinubu and the APC were blindsided by Obi's decision to join the ADC. You all were counting on opposition votes being splitted but ended up uniting all opposition. Tinubu should not have destroyed the PDP and the Labour party. He played himself.
PoliticsRe: Former President Dr Good Luck Jonathan And PDP National Chairman Were In Close D by AMINDA: 11:20pm On Jan 06
They are pretending Jonathan/Kwankwaso is not a strong combo but it was rumours of that combination that made Tinubu quickly sack Ganduje as APC chairman while APC lackeys like Bayo Onanuga and Festus Keyamo went on an attacking spree against Jonathan. Even Remi Tinubu began to forcefully take Patience along with her to public events to give off an air of solidarity. Tinubu genuinely fears that ticket because it will destroy his plans in the Southsouth as well as in the North (amongst Northern voters who may still prefer a Southern candidate). He lives in morbid fear of that possibility and it's still very much in play. The ticket is a threat not because it may win but because it will sink Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Rivers: You Can’t Cry Foul Now — PDP Blasts APC Over Wike by AMINDA: 9:48pm On Jan 06
I pledge allegiance to the Wike faction of APC. Our motto: Agreement is agreement.
PoliticsRe: Former President Dr Good Luck Jonathan And PDP National Chairman Were In Close D by AMINDA: 9:47pm On Jan 06
seunmsg:
And why anyone lose a sleep over that ticket? PDP is dead and buried. Even Bala Mohammed is already negotiating how to jump out.
False. PDP is still very much strong in most of the Southsouth states of Delta, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and some Northern states. No self-respecting voter in the Southsouth will see Jonathan on the ballot and vote Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Former President Dr Good Luck Jonathan And PDP National Chairman Were In Close D by AMINDA: 9:36pm On Jan 06
Seunmsg. Come o. Permutations na water. Jonathan/Kwankwaso is still very much a possibility. It's highly likely that Tinubu will emerge a distant third come 2027.
PoliticsRe: RIVERS 2027: Wike Rallies Ateke , Asari Dokubo Other Ex militants against Fubara by AMINDA: 9:33pm On Jan 06
On the surface, it looks like he's rallying them against Fubara but in real terms, he's actually sending a direct message to Tinubu and the APC. Fire on, corner corner master!
PoliticsRe: Basiru: Wike-Led PDP Faction Gives APC National Secretary 48 Hours To Apologise by AMINDA: 9:27pm On Jan 06
Richtaiwo:
This conduct of Wike is becoming increasingly excessive and intolerable.

How can a single individual consistently generate controversy everywhere?

Once again, he needs be reminded that arrogance is never permanent, it always comes with an expiration date.

I trust Tinubu, he will soon do the needful.
So what are you and Tinubu going to do about it? Put body if e sure for you!
PoliticsRe: Basiru: Wike-Led PDP Faction Gives APC National Secretary 48 Hours To Apologise by AMINDA: 9:24pm On Jan 06
I pledge allegiance to the Wike faction of APC! But where is NgeneUkwenu sef!
SportsRe: Osimhen Asks To Quit Camp Over Lookman Spat by AMINDA: 1:47pm On Jan 06
blowjohn:
Ok ignore the 7 goals.

What if they do the same in the next match and we haven't scored yet?
He should swap roles with the coach then or do it all on his own. This is the second time he is undermining Lookman in a match. Lookman is also an Africa player of the year winner, he deserves respect. I sense unhealthy rivalry and jealousy.
SportsRe: Osimhen Asks To Quit Camp Over Lookman Spat by AMINDA: 1:43pm On Jan 06
blowjohn:
Well said.

But what if they continued In that manner of not passing in our next match?

We should have scored up to 7 goals yesterday
Is it a tournament or a league? What would 7 goals do for the team that 4 goals won't?
SportsRe: Osimhen Asks To Quit Camp Over Lookman Spat by AMINDA: 1:39pm On Jan 06
Osimhen and Wike have similar characters. It's called main character syndrome. Prevalent in kids not properly loved as a child. Even in Europe, he openly begrudges his teammates for every pass or cross that doesn't go his way. No decent coach of a top club will want that kind of energy around the team. It's a dressing room killer.
PoliticsRe: ‘we Have Not Seen Anything That Will Stop Gov Mutfwang's Re-election’ - Group by AMINDA: 1:24pm On Jan 06
Once you see them sponsoring groups to make such statements, know that they are facing a hard time at the home front. Muftwang's defection is a highly unpopular one amongst his base.
PoliticsRe: What Nigeria Needs Is Good Leadership, Not Paris Menu - Atiku Slams Presidency by AMINDA: 1:18pm On Jan 06
Agbadorians are celebrating a Paris dinner with Paul Kagame as one of Tinubu's achievements. In contrast, Kagame didn't even deem it fit to mention the meeting with Tinubu. What are Kagame and Tinubu doing in France with Macron if not to discuss tenure elongation. Kagame himself has been ruling Rwanda over 25 years, propped up by Farnce and the West. Tinubu's cosiness with sit-tight keaders like Talon is not a coincidence.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Has Played Wike Out In A Game As Master Strategist - Rufai Reacts (video) by AMINDA: 1:16pm On Jan 06
MrColdsweat:
Betrayal is what they call master strategist.
That's an average Agbadorian for you. I hope their newfound friends are taking notes? Even Wike, the corner corner master, will be silently regretting his decision to destroy the PDP where he had a stake. Lessons.

PoliticsRe: Same People That Say Elections Weren't Rigged, Say Wike Handed Rivers To Tinubu by AMINDA: 10:14am On Jan 06
You dey mind Agbadorians? The ones currently supporting Wike out of fear are only doing so because they know Fubara will not be willing to shed blood to deliver the state to Tinubu. Rivers people will not queue on the line to vote Tinubu in 2027. He can only only win Rivers via rigging. This is why Fubara will eventually be thrown under the bus.
PoliticsRe: 'We May Ask The President To Choose Between Us And Wike’ – APC NWC Member by AMINDA: 9:58am On Jan 06
Afriifa:
If Tinubu does not back Fubara, none of the decamped APC governors will trust him enough to work for his re-election.
That is the tight corner he has dribbled himself into. This will be the case beginning from the Southsouth. Most of the governors only decamped to neutralize the strong potential opponents that APC would have fielded against them (which in itself, has created many silently aggrieved party members). Seeing Tinubu throw Fubara under the bus will leave them questioning their choices. Their eyes go first blur. APC is currently a party of very strange bedfellows and it will be impossible to pacify everybody without tumbling the cart.
PoliticsRe: 'We May Ask The President To Choose Between Us And Wike’ – APC NWC Member by AMINDA: 9:56am On Jan 06
Tinubu wants to continue to eat from two pots at the same time. That's the definition of greed and it can only lead to food poisoning. The implosion of APC is inevitable. More landmines are in front.
PoliticsRe: 2027 Battle: Rivers Crisis Escalates As Top APC Governors Back Fubara by AMINDA: 9:41am On Jan 06

Dishonesty. Is Sanwo-olu the leader of APC in Lagos state?
