PoliticsRe: Court Stops EFCC Case Over Falsehood, Media Trial by amjoseph19:
The media trials is to fool the gullibles. I come on nairaland everyday and hear people shouting, making noise. I weep for the nation. How can this lots be this ignorant. most of our youths doesn't know the basic in law. If they don't knw this much, how can they defend their rights.
Let's take dasuki's case for instance.
From day 1. I keep telling my friends that, they should forget the ranting, media trials, press conferences about DASUKI'S case. The FG will need more than that to jail him. WITH THE CURRENT EVIDENCE, IF THE FG TAKEsS DASUKI'S CASE TO A COMPETENT COURT, DASUKI WILL WALK A FREE MAN. Most things they said that dasuki did, he is fully guilded by the duties of a NSA of nigeria under our own constitution and office duty.
Spend some time and read the function of the NSA of a nation. In fact, most countries don't even make their budget public. Am not saying that he didn't embezzled any found, He did (guessing). The efcc have to look deep to nail him not with this media crap of him dashing money.
He duty was to stop seen and unforseen security threats.

Ask yourself, The FG hv dedicated most of their efforts in fighting corruption. How of them have be sentence so far by a court. Many of you will say that the judiciary is corrupt.
Before someone is been found guilty of any crime, you hv to prove beyond every reasonably doubt that he or she is guilty.

with what i hv been reading on the media, that is not upto 50% enough to nail them. The FG, EFCC hv to re_strategize.
The court needs physical evidence not just verbal words.

The way some people are insulting Buhari over the comment makes me wonder if Christianity in its real and ideal sense approves of the kissing and touching in movies. Christianity or Islam, kissing and touching is bad. I agree the western culture of doing movies have affected our morals but guys, what Buhari said is it bad?
Being Christian does it means that we must be a religion fanatic??

Christianity is by choice, it have never been by force. That's where the difference between islam and Christianity.

Ane further more, Christianity acknowledges presence of other norms and believe. There is an atheist who might like those stuff, why ban it just because we are the majority? We are not oppressors unlike a certain religion of piss.[b]

How about since they have been robbing the common man who voted them in our so called democracy and you did not speak.

Democracy did not always happen the way it is currently in the US.

If you look into their history, many WARS have been fought, MANY LIVES have been lost in the fight to establish their democracy.

Should we only compare ourselves to US and the UK when it conveniently fits the agenda to keep things status quo?
Bro, I do criticize, I do say my piece of mind whenever injustice is been done. You happen to know about this because some big wigs are involved. When I see someone being accused, my first instinct is that he maybe innocent. I try my best to exploit all possible option that the person maybe innocent.

So bro, I asked. Is there any possibility that what the DSS are accusing those or one of those judges are lies, is there any?? Is there any possibility that they/one of them maybe innocent?? Is there any possibility that the DSS are carrying out personally vendetta??
PoliticsRe: African Bar Condemns Arrest, Invasion Of Judges’ Homes by amjoseph19:
You see there is one thing most people don't get. Nobody is supporting corruption. Corruption is the reason why Africans especially Nigerians are suffering. corruption is deep rooted in our society, we are all corrupt. Yes, we all.
To many Nigerians, we think that corruption is only when a politician embezzled public funds. No, favourisim, nepotism, tribalism etc are all part of corruption which we all tends to exhibit in our streets, community, in school, even in church. So, as we are shouting corruption, we should also have a close look in the mirror.

Most of us are faulting buhari/DSS on this not that those judges are our uncles, father nor any relative of our's. We are faulting them because the are bringing in something greater than corruption, something that can halt a nation progress for a very long time. Something than can divide a nation. Buhari is trying to over power rule of law, he is trying to kill democracy. He is trying to take us back to stone age.

Believe me when I tell you that all politicians in nigeria are corrupt (I don't have any evidence to back it up, it is just a personal option). If I see any of them being accused or locked up for corruption, am not amaze. All WE ARE REQUESTING IS FOR DUE PROCESS TO BE FOLLOWED. If we don't totally and uniformly come against this. Tomorrow, you might be arrested for tweeting against buhari. If a judge is corrupt, there's I due process to go about that. If we boycott it today, tomorrow we might also boycott presidential election because some few thinks that Mr "A" is the right person for president.

Those commeding the DSS should always remember this poem.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.

Buhari have shown that he belongs to somebody, I don't care if he jail all PDP members, associate. But let him follow due process for fucking sake.

He have been fighting corruption for almost 2 yrs now, not a single soul have been convicted by a competent court. I was even thinking that Dasuki is nailed on with how their media propaganda was going about it. But, only to my greatest surprise that he is still yet innocent. Even ECOWAS court granted him an unconditional release and fined FG.

Buhari trying to fight his so called corruption by overlooking the rule of law is like trying to discipline a child by killing the child.

Modified
...................................................................................................
Remember, Those judges are innocent until proven guilty.
To those tagging them corrupt, when a policeman put your sorry ass inside jail and tag you murderer, armed robber or cultist. don't cry foul or run to nairaland to create a thread or go to any social media to cry about it. Karma is surely one hell of a bitch.

Have any competent court within the four walls of nigeria find GEJ guilty of corruption.
It is only APC and buhari that have been accusing GEJ of corruption. And GEJ is yet to utter a word about it.
How to do you come to the fact that GEJ is corrupthuh

Some people believe that Nigeria would Have been a better country if only we gave the British more time to Rule and govern us.. I do, am one of those people. They gave us the terminology of democracy, they didn't teach us how it's been done.
Look at South Africa for instance, they gained independence in 1991 which allowed the Whites to establish and develop the country in terms of Infrastructure, health, education and Other Social amenities before they left in 1991. Just imagine if south africa have the natural and man power resources that we are blessed with. We are living witnesses to the Fact that most of the Infrastructure and amenities provided by the British are still existing due to the quality and durability of the materials and accountability present in their administration.
Nigeria was not yet mature when we a asked for independence some 56 years ago. We were just like the prodigal son in the bible. Too bad that unlike the prodigal son, we can't go back to our colonial master.
Do you think that if South Africa had gotten their independence some 56 years ago, would they have been this developed??
Maybe am wrong, Let me hear from you. Do you think we gain our independence too early??
What year would have been ideal??

Every time I write and article that sheds Islam in a negative
light, my life gets threatened by muslims, I get hate
messages from liberals, and I’m labeled a ‘racist’ by idiots
who do not realize that Islam is not a race.
If Muslims are so proud of their quran, why would they
threaten my life for simply sharing verses straight from their
“holy book”?
Islam is also not a religion,
It is a theocracy and terrorist cult that hides behind the
mask of religion in order to acheive its mission of world
domination.
Furthermore, people, including news anchors who call islaic
terrorists “extremists and radicals”, are wrong… They are
DEVOUT muslims simply following the dictates of their
koran.
I have read the koran and studied it thoroughly. I have read
the muslim brotherhood’s documented plan for the
destruction of the world from within.
I will not submit or convert and I will not allow the death
threats, the name calling, and the pack threat mentality stop
me from telling the truth about Islam.

Islam is a terrorist group.
