Hello, Well take it as it is, but the most important thing i will want you to note in this case is that God has used him to change you for good. Baby, you have a long way to go and i am very sure you can still love again even more than what you felt for that guy.

I will wanto to know my chance of winning an appeal.
I was refused student visa based on the fact that (from the ECO statement)

1. That he is not convinced that my sponsro who is also my uncle could sponsor my studies.
2. That he could not see any commensurate benefit be be gained by my sponsor in sposoring me
3. THAT THE BANK STATEMENT I SUBMITTED IS NOT GENUINE (which is a fat lie)

Though i have appeal with all copies of the document i enclosed for the visa application in the first place and new letter from the bank again confirming the genuiness of the account.

Please advise.

there is no big deal there. Just make sure you have all your documents intact. Meanwhile at the US embassy they draw their conclusion base on your response to the questions they asked.

And the questions will cover these:

1. What will you do after your programme
2. If you are married , what is your spouse doing at present and if you are not when will you marry.

i applied for UK student visa and i was refused and advised to appeal.

The reasons for my appeal was that
1. NO EVIDENCE OF REGULAR INCOME AND OUTGOING OR FINANCIAL COMMITENTF OF MY SPONSOR; NOR IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE AS TO THE SOURCE OF THESE FUNDS. (meanwhile i submitted a copy of my sponsor bank statement with reference letter , copy of his company certificate of incorporation and a confirmation letter on the part of my sponsor)

2. THE ECO ALSO CLAIMED THAT MY BANK STATEMENT IS NOT GENUINE (this is a fat lie)

3. SURPRISINGLY THE ECO MENTIONED THAT "I do not find it credible that your sponsor is willing to exhaust all their savings to finance your studies in the UK I do not find it credible that your sponsor is willing to exhaust all their savings to finance your studies in the UK’

please kindly advise on the way and how to file in an appeal.

I would not mind if AKOLAWOLE, MRPATAKI AND VOR will find it in their heart to help out. I saw some of their posting on this similar issues and i will really appreciate their effort.
