Officially 4 months preggo today
I remember having the softest first trimester, until second trimester came with terrible migraines and even more terrible fibroid pain.
Omor, I would take those migraines any day over this fibroid pain.

That's how I became Panadol ambassador, the amount of Panadol I consumed in the past one month no be here. My mother was bent on convincing me that Paracetamol and Panadol are not the same thing and Paracetamol is safer as in my six years in Pharmacy school what did I now learn

The fibroid pain has reduced a bit and I'm able to move more now. My mum keeps making jokes about how baby 2 has decided that we will not know the gender

But me I know I'm having a boy and girl sha
Congratulations to the latest mums your stories are very strengthening and encouraging, I can't wait til my hands are full with my bundles of Joy.

My baby is the cutest baby ever! Like i cant go out without people complimenting! And God did it all!We are 4 months now and i even saw that small colourless budding of teeth today on his 2 lower gums! Amazing!

Thanks everyone, I couldn't help myself... I sha rushed to do scan,. Apparently its the little fibroid I have that's causing my pain

Was Asked to run some tests at the hospital.


On the bright side, I was able to see my babies sucking their thumbs also discovered one is actually a boy, couldn't detect the gender of the other.


The pain is excruciating sha, can barely walk like a normal human being

According to him, Wifey is in pains on left hand side of tummy due this. I'm surprised, Doc isn't worried about it.

Ibuprofen and PCM isn't doing much.

I'm uncomfortable. Any ideas pls

I'm not sure Ibuprofen is recommend in pregnancy... Safest pain relief has always been Paracetamol or Panadol

I'm beginning to think the itchiness is from my soap, I recently started using this Kojie san soap and I heard its good for hyperpigmentation but it's also very delicate on skin

Vomiting has stopped, my only issue now is headache. Especially in the evening. Nothing much to buy except maybe hospital essentials which i will buy much later

My dear I'm also struggling with evening headaches...

I just try to take 2 tabs of Panadol every morning with my drugs because it helps so I don't get the headaches in the evening... I've also noticed it's more intense when I do some strenuous work, climbing stairs, moving about a lot so I try to reduce those as well


It will stop with time I know

Hey guys,

It's been a minute. Again, apologies for not updating frequently. Like I said earlier, I only want to give out content that's new or that helps in anyway either by giving you insight of what life is like here or what to expect for those coming.

Sadly, I haven't been able to do much of that compared to when I just arrived as I work work work and then this year's TET wasn't a fun one due to Covid-19 so I couldn't go out or take pictures.

Anyways, everything is under control now and schools are back on. Yayyyy. I'll be resuming on Monday.

So today, I visited another province 3 hours from mine and used the sleeper bus. See pictures attached.

Here's what my experience was like....

The journey to the province was amazing. We were just about 10 or so even though we left by 8am and the bus could take maybe 40 people.

The seat/bed was sooo comfortable with enoughhhh leg space and options to comfortable recline or adjust your seat/bed however you want.

There's AC and WiFi and blankets are provided. You also take off your shoes when you go in and you're given a nylon to put them. We had a brief stop one hour into the journey and when stepping out of the bus, slippers are provided so you don't need to put your shoes back on again.. I slept very well. Haha.

The journey back though wasn't so amazing for one sole reason. The bus was fiull. The only vacant seat/bed was Infront and I wast comfortable so the moment someone from the back alighted, I took the space and big mistake....foul odour. I jejely went back to my previous space.

This is my first experience though. Probably some people there had some BO issues or maybe that's the way it is when the bus is full but I doubt cos only that area had that foul odour.

In order news, I've started my quest on finding side hustles one can do here apart from teaching. I already have one but hey, I gat Igbo blood �

Someone asked about school and visa. I still don't know how schooling and visa works here. I only know about working and visas.

To those "waiting" for it to get "better" ....well, while it's good to have hope, I'd advise you either take your time and think fast or while thinking, have options b and c because as long as Covid-19 is around, there's no getting better.

I've watched visa prices increase with 100usd, then 500 USD, then more than 1000 USD thanks to the rules the government keeps dishing out.

As if that's not enough, IELTS will soon follow so make hay if you've really thought about it and you feel Vietnam is the place for you.

This changes are also good for us here already as compared to the stupid 800 USD per month they were offering our African brethrens, it's now 1200. It's still poor to me but very okay for a beginner.

Hopefully, I can give more frequent updates. It may help if there's a particular topic or there are pictures of particular things you want to see. Then I can work on that.
