A Condolence Register has been opened at the
NYSC Directorate Headquarters in honour of our
fallen hero, Samuel Dumebi Okonta
(RV/15B/5539). We lost Samuel to the re-run
elections that recently took place in Rivers
state. The NYSC management has also set up a
committee to look into the ACTUAL causes and
situations that led to this unpleasant mishap and
recommend suggestions to prevent future
occurrences of such. Be rest assured that
justice would be done on this case. We'll update
you with the outcome of their findings. Adeiu

management heard you and approved the
adjustment of the time. Printing now
commences on 20th April 2016.

I was actually dumb founded when I heard it in the News that the reason for the arbitrary changes in the TT was actually related to the problematic Budget according to the House of Representatives members who spoke on the issue.

And what amuses me and thus raised dust within me about the competencies of some persons was HEARING THAT THE EXPECTED TOTAL POPULATION OF NYSC BATCH A 2016 SERVICE YEAR AND OTHERS STILL SERVING WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CAPTURED AND CATERED FOR BY THE BUDGET IS 260,000 whereas the total number captured originally by the budget is 210,000!

Can you believe that! Or was it a question of GHOST FIGURE OF 50,000 addition?

I mean, how come about such a huge decifit? I can't just believe it when I heard it seriously hmmmn. Nigeria is ours and ours it shall be forever.

That is a monumental fraud on the part of NYSC management and also one of the paddlings discovered in the budget by the National Assembly perpetuated by Ministries, Departments and Parastatals.
