For my own case, when I was submitting my documents to CEAC last year my UK visa was expiring in May 2025. We didn't know where we would be to complete the process since many things take years, that's why i chose Lagos. We only renewed the visa again a few months ago.

Christian University for that matter, it must be a yeye school that doesn't follow up with students. I trust Covenant University, they will follow up every student in the hostel, any noise in any area, the porters will go there and check, Trust me those porters were good at reporting easily to school authorities even though they had thier favourites they will still do thier job. The direct flight to London from Lagos using British Airways is $1100, my wife and twins can't travel alone Co the children are still underage, they need two adults and since my wife is one adult, I need another adult that is traveling to UK that same day to follow them.

Then the person can bring $1000 of his or her flight ticket and I will complete the payment for him or her since the total flight fare for my wife, an adult and 2 kids is $2389.

I just need an adult that will be travelling to UK in 18th October, to complete my wife as two adults so they can allow my children book flight ticket as underage.

Application date - 15th July
Booked flight - 17th July
Canceled application - 3rd of August. I didn't know POF should be 28 days from the date of application not biometrics.
New application - 5th August
Biometrics - 10th August
Empty NSF - 14th August
Interview invitation - 25th August
Interview - 27th August. I was sent IHS link to top up shortly after the interview.
IHS payment - 29th August

NO WORD FROM UKVI

1st paid call - 4th September (awaiting decision)
2nd paid call - 7th September (still awaiting decision but it was escalated and I was advised to wait for 15 working days before calling them again)
Escalation - 7th September
Paid Mail( since I was advised not to call...lol) - 12th September (still awaiting decision as at 6pm)

THEN I DECIDED TO TAKE IT UP IN PRAYER. At this point I needed a miracle as my flight had already been booked for the 17th September.

I responded to the paid mail around 12AM clearly stating my case again.

UKVI contact centre responded - 13th September (decision has been made as at 11am, but still at DMC)

More prayer. That the passport be returned to Nigeria before Friday.

Transferred to VAC - 14th September
Received by VAC - 14th September
Pickup mail from TLS - 14th September, 12:29pm( Visa was approved and delivered to VAC in 24hrs)
Passport in my hand with vignette - 14th September, 2:16pm

ALL GLORY TO GOD! It's still like a dream to me, I indeed experienced a miracle.

I was strengthened with 2kings7:1-20. Where the people of Israel experienced an unusual overnight victory.

Please what should I do I did my biometric on 2/8/23 at TLS ikeja till now I am yet to hear from UKVI not even NSF mail

On the 23rd of august I escalated my case but still nothing from UKVI this week on the 13 of September I did another escalation I was told to wait for another 15 working days

And my school is resuming on Monday 18th of September

Please advise accordingly

Please at this juncture I really need help with getting my sister’s refund from the Leeds university…. After payment of the tuition fee.. I paid twice… as bank didn’t complete the payment so we had to use black market… the two payments were confirmed and reciepts issued…Now due to unforeseen circumstances my sister couldn’t continue.. we’ve not even applied for cas yet.. So for the past 2 to 3 weeks now we’ve been asking for refund. No reply from them. Pleas what else can we do to get this refund pls. The money is 6500 pounds.

Visa for family of 5

Did biometric on 10th July (all)
MA got visa on the 18th
The rest were held on DMC
First paid call was on 2nd August
Escalated on 3rd August
Spouse interview was set up on 14th August
After the interview, all the remaining 4 applications were moved to VAC on 22Aug
Collection Mail same day and got the visas today 23rd August.

Documents submitted:
MA all post grad certificates
Marriage certificate
NIN
Birth certificate
Passport data page
Acc statement same for all
Form 1,2and3 I can't remember unless I read through it again. Some are for my kids.
No Marriage photos and newspaper change of name uploaded (Note I had them but didn't see any field to upload them, therefore, I felt it was not needed)

For partner:
Uploaded same thing and failed to upload wedding photos and newspaper change of name.

Note: because I failed to proof with more evidence like photos and newspaper change of name, it was difficult to ascertain if my marriage was genuine until the interview I and my wife gave them our Facebook names to check by themselves starting from our dating days to proposal and pre-wedding & wedding day.
My own advice is please be real and genuine and also provide all the information that can help ECO decide your application without further delays.

For my kids:
Nin
Birth certificate
Either 1 and 2 of the 3 forms above or the other way round. I can't remember now.
Passport
Tb certificate
Acc statement

Please I'm planning to do my Biometric this week. Any idea how one can get tenancy agreement beside getting from the landlord as my rent is already due and the landlord is aware I won't be renewing

POF will start counting Monday 21/08/2023.
Will commence visa application today.
Can I still meet up with arrival date 28/09/2023
