johnstan: From fall 2022 to spring 2023 is over 150 days so you will need to notify IRCC via web form Your study permit validity will be from the date you arrive in Canada till the end of your program, it is issued at POE. Did you consider that my application has been processed already.

Hi everyone! I’m confused about if I should inform IRCC about my new LOA.
I already have my passport stamped for fall 2022 but my ppr came after the semester has already started so I deferred my admission to Spring 2023 (May) because there was no seat available for Winter intake at the time of my deferral.
My questions are: 1. Do I have to inform IRCC about it. (Note that my application has been processed and a decision has been made) 2. Will Study Permit be issued based on validity of LOI or based on the date on my new LOA at Port of Entry.

Gilb231: Good afternoon house,
I have a question.
June 13th application
I just got my medical request. The medicals I submitted was from November last year with my first application.
I couldn’t find a slot on Qlife. I will try again early tomorrow morning. I hope I get an earlier slot.
I have a booking on IOM for medicals on the 19th. I don’t know if that’s enough time. I have only 30days to submit.
I will appreciate any feedback. Thank you ! Dear Gilb231, I would suggest you go to IOM sooner than later with your medical request. I’m sure they will create a slot for you to an earlier date. |

tlk2Prince: Quick question for the gurus in the house!
Do you still have all the money intact in your account after applying for the student visa until you get PPR? I heard IRCC can verify your bank statements or check your funds in your account to be sure. Under the banker customer relationship, it’s the duty of the bank to keep the customer account confidential. The bank will never review any information regarding it’s customer’s account to a third party without its customer consent. I have read people say so here but I doubt any credibility in such. If a bank reviews the state of it’s customer account to a third party without the express or written consent of the customer, the bank can be held liable if sued for breach of contract. Well, I’m not a guru! |

Coleadeyemi1: I am very elated this is happening to this guy called @Makano. Sometimes last year I got PPR and I posted my timeline and tagged the agent that helped me, the guy has been very useful and I reached out to him via nairaland.immediately after my PPR I came out to tag him and appreciated him normal normal since it's a tradition I met here. This particular guy out of jealousy or kind of saw him as competition started dragging him and making bad comments against him both with this handle and several other fake handles he created, they accused him of using fake handle to advertise, I was really pained cos I dragged d man into that embarrassment @justwise blocked the man without proper verification and I felt like this nairaland is more or less of a carcus thing out of annoyance I deleted my profile but kept on coming here once in a while to read comments if I'm less busy in school. I am happy that nemesis has finally catch up with him they never allowed the man to even talk and was blocked without no reason, I wish @bollybeejay is still on nairaland today to see how u have been disgraced. Karma is really a bitch Nawa oooh, wetin Musa no go see for IRCC gate! |

Kehmy: Good day everyone, has anyone paid for diploma recently using For A? Kindly tell me which bank you used. Two banks have declined my transaction now. I think the first thing you need to know is if the branch of the bank you intend to use can facilitate FX before you apply. I would suggest you use UBA. To speed up the process you can disturb them with calls telling them how urgent you need to pay. |

Congratulations Uzoamaka123: Hi guys .
I got My PPR yesterday.
I joined This thread in December 2021 and part of my goal for the new year was to relocate to Canada. I dint want to pay an agent so I was determined to gather every info possible that will help me apply by myself. From December 2021 - May 2022, I read this thread everyday.
First thing I knew I needed was a company to pay me salary and I got one and started building the salary account since January -May (4 months bank statement).
I also informed my sponsor (brother) early in the year so he was saving towards my application.
When I was satisfied with the 4 month statement of account from both myself and my sponsor without showing lump sums, I decided it was time to apply for august 29th resumption at uni of Regina.
