Left to me, if Chelsea does not sign any DM Ampadu goes in the season as my first choice DM. I don't see Ampadu as a CB. And if I'm a midtable club, I will be looking to sign him now with one year left on his contract. The boy got it. I learned he did well at Venezia playing DM despite their relegation

I remember saying Ampadu is good to start last season and many were laughing at me for saying that, the boy can pass, he is aggressive, hard tackler with decent recovery pace.

If Leeds does not reach a definitive agreement with Barcelona by the beginning of next week, Raphinha himself and his staff admit to giving up on the dream of moving to the Catalan club in this transfer window and will resume talks with Chelsea.
