It will shock you I know a lot about your religion, but that's a convo for another day.

I know you believe in Prophet Isa and some Muslims even believe he was a Muslim as he was a Prophet of Allah. Don't you think he acted against the will of Allah by stopping the stoning of the adulterous woman when he asked her to go and sin no more?
What I agree you may know more than me are the following: International Travel, Music, Academics, Football, and perhaps investment but as for the religion of Islam Alhamdulillah.
As for go and sin no more- you didn't complete the verse which states, lest a worse thing will happen to you. Let's go back to the ten commandments, where God states thou shall not commit adultery. Also, upon the sending of Prophet Muhammad as the last and final messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) all previous laws have been abrogated and what he was sent with is final- so whatever Jesus Christ did that doesn't contradict the Sharia of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is binding upon us otherwise we act upon the what Is find in Quran and authentic Sunnah

Amot.o94 has no problem with Deborah being killed for blasphemy against Muhammad pbuh but makes excuses for Shia who tell you that Ali is also a prophet.

This in spite of Islam's hardline stance on apostasy.
You're almost approaching your grave yet here you're inventing narratives- where did I say Deborah should be killed?
Not all Shias believe that Ali is a prophet and even if a person is to believe that due to ignorance and proof is yet to be established upon you don't excommunicate such an individual. There is an excuse of ignorance in Sharia that you pretend or do not to know this distinction means you need to go back to ile kewu and learn more about your religion and

No I don’t have issues with criminals being punished for their crimes . But I think it is barbaric to have someone decapitated or lose body parts because they slept with a man not their husband .

I also have issues with a fellow human being killed because he insulted a dead person .
Islam came to uphold five things of which family is part of it and and adultery/fornication destroys the institution of marriage which is the foundation of marriage, hence the strict punishment for the offense of fornication. Allah said, do not come close to illegal sexual intercourse for indeed it's repugnant and an evil way.
How many homes have been destroyed due to adultery? why has DNA testing become a hot topic in recent years due to infidelity?
What I have noticed is that those who are guilty of a crime are usually the fiercest of critics/opposers of a system to combat such a crime.

You edited after my reply.

Anyways, the law of the land will not prescribe death for an apostate or cutting of arms when it's not self-inflicted like in Android17's case.

I subscribe to a law that gives room for true repentance and redress especially when the offence is not a capital one.
To you your religion, to me my religion.

You are sunni

So are Shia apostates?
The issue is broad, there are some groups who aren't Muslims due to their deviated and there are some who are Muslims. So, you can't just takfir (excommunicate) them from the fold of Islam.

Why can’t u just answer the question straight ?

Do u believe that because a woman who is married decided to cheat and commit adultery she deserved to be sentenced to death under sharia law?

Why are you equating sharia law with common law that actually puts fairness and equity first in its ruling ?
Anybody caught or confessed to have committed adultery should be punished accordingly after satisfying all necessary conditions. Do you have problem with criminals being punished for their crimes?

In a nutshell, you in support of cutting of arms, death by hanging e.t.c as prescribed by Sharia law, right?.
Do you also support the execution of criminals, arresting and sentencing those who violate laws of the lqnd.
Islam means total submission to the commands and prohibitions, so it is out of place to be asking a Muslim whether he believes in what is obligatory upon him. However, they're obligations to be carried out by individuals and some to be carried out by those 2with authority.

Is it true that you believe in Sharia?
Verily, We did send down the Taurat (Torah) [to Musa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurat (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the Kafirun (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allah's Laws). Quran 5:44

Omo… I’ve come to realise that even the self-proclaimed pacifists on this forum are only pacifists when they’re not the ones expected to get their hands dirty. And let’s be honest — 90% of those cheering this war on here have likely never experienced real violence or witnessed it unfold around them. If they had, the kind of joy I’ve seen on both sides while celebrating this conflict wouldn’t be so loud.

While they continue applauding the next chapter of destruction, here’s a grim reminder: in today’s warped calculus, even being a STEM graduate working as a scientist can make you a legitimate target. You and your family can be murdered in your sleep and labelled terrorists or sympathisers — simply for doing your job. You’re no longer seen as a person. Just another statistic. Easily erased.

Here’s a snapshot of what “strategy” has brought us in the past:

Afghanistan (2001–2021)
• Estimated civilian deaths:
- 170,000–243,000+ from direct war-related violence
- Millions more displaced, starved, or left without healthcare
• Deaths caused by Taliban, US/UK/NATO forces, and drone strikes

Iraq (2003–2011, extended US ops through 2021)
• Estimated civilian deaths:
- 200,000–300,000+ from direct violence
- Up to 1 million including indirect causes (infrastructure collapse, disease, displacement)
• Peak violence: sectarian conflict (2006–2008), ISIS insurgency (2014–2017).

And yet, the same politicians and NL pundits keep pushing the same tired lines — “stand with this side,” “You hate Isreal if you don’t support the war,” “Iran having nukes will be the end of Isreal.” But history has shown us exactly where that road leads: Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Syria. Same blueprint. Same devastation. Still no lessons learned.

Las las… this isn’t my war. I have no ancestral ties, no political stake, and no interest in fuelling the noise. Neither do most of those shouting the loudest. But if there’s one thing that remains clear, it’s this: both sides bear responsibility. Both have blood on their hands. Both are keeping the cycle alive.
When I called some of them barbarians some 2years back it seems harsh then but I was spot on in the name tag. Look at how they quickly justify the killings of hunters and the sidestepping of 7 recently killed in Mangu, Jos. Let something similar happen and you'll see them rush to tag my name to condemn the action.
We know what we are doing and God will judge us accordingly

Bahrain has urged citizens and residents to avoid using main roads unless necessary, following US airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“In light of recent developments in the regional security situation, we urge citizens and residents to use main roads only when necessary, to maintain public safety and to allow the relevant authorities to use the roads efficiently,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement Sunday morning.

The government announced that most civil servants will work remotely until further notice: “A remote working system will be activated across ministries and government agencies, with a 70 per cent work-from-home capacity,” the state-run Bahrain News Agency reported.

The announcement comes as governments across the region assess security precautions after the escalation between the US and Iran.

The thing we learn from history is we never learn from history. The problem of middle east in modern history stems from meddling by Anglo-Saxon interventionists who orchestrated regime change on several occasions for business reasons. In Syria France handed a majority Sunni population to an Alawite who's a minority and that one ruled with Iron fist leading to resentment and confrontation, in Palestine Britain and their partners they carved out a Jewish homeland without putting into consideration the population leaving there already majority of whom were Arabs or Arabic-speaking, in Lebanon France did what they did, in Afghanistan rebels were armed against Soviet backed rulers (here Bin Laden was praised in western media as a hero of some sort), in Iran Prime Minister was deposed and Khomeini strengthened by France, during Iraq-Iran war Saddam was supported against Khomeini, in Gulf War Saddam became the bad guy and he
was roundly beaten by coalition forces, in 2003 US-NATO led invasion of Iraq led to the killing of Saddam and destabilizing the country under the false pretext of WMDs, in 2011 Arab Spring was orchestrated by the same people leading to wanton destruction of lives and properties.
There are many events that I have missed but the Anglo-Saxon are complicit in the state of affairs of Middle east both in distant and recent history due to their meddlesome behavior over the years
