Afrod.oc2 my boss glad to see you typing and all
Islamophobia and some Muslims committing crimes are not mutually exclusive, two truths can co-exist. Suddenly you found your voice but some days ago you were nowhere to be found when the news of crime committed by your tribesmen was posted on this same thread. This selective outrage and condemnation by some of you only exposed the fact that you're not interested in truth sharing but agenda.

PRESS RELEASE

TROOPS OF OPHK THWART ISWAP ATTACK ON FOB MAIRARI, DESTROY TERRORISTS VBIEDs, LOGISTICS

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have successfully repelled a coordinated attack by ISWAP terrorists on a Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Mairari, dealing a decisive blow to the group’s operational capability in the area. The assault, which began late on 12 December 2025 and continued into the early hours of 13 December, was thwarted through coordinated ground and air operations.

During the attack, terrorists attempted to breach the base using two Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs). Both devices were promptly detected and neutralised by the troops, preventing any penetration of the base. CCTV footage and field observations confirmed that several terrorists were killed, while others sustained serious injuries as surviving elements evacuated their dead and wounded.

Following the failed assault, OPHK troops of Sector 3, supported by the Theatre Command Quick Reaction Group, Nigeria Police Crack Team, and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), conducted a thorough exploitation of the area. The operation led to the discovery of multiple terrorist casualties and the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and logistics abandoned during their retreat.

Recovered items included AK-47 rifles, magazines and ammunition, PKT rounds, hand grenades, motorcycles, communication devices, combat gear, medical supplies, and other materials indicative of sustained terrorist operations. These recoveries have further degraded the terrorists’ operational capacity and deny them freedom of action in the area.

The two neutralised VBIEDs were destroyed by OPHK defensive fire, causing damage to two points along the road. Importantly, there was no breach of the FOB, highlighting the preparedness, vigilance, and resilience of the troops.

Troops are currently conducting aggressive patrols in the area to prevent further terrorist activity and reassure local communities of the continued security presence.

Troops remain resolute in their commitment to decisively defeat all terrorist elements and restore lasting peace and stability across the North East. The failed attack at Mairari underscores the operational readiness and professionalism of our men and women in uniform.

Operation HADIN KAI continues to prioritise the protection of civilians, the disruption of terrorist networks, and the restoration of peace across the region.

Imo Police uncover hotel and mortuary allegedly used for kidnapping, organ harvesting in Ngor Okpala, Imo State

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have uncovered a hotel and a mortuary allegedly used by a criminal syndicate for kidnapping, ransom collection and organ harvesting along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.

The discovery, announced on Saturday, followed weeks of covert surveillance ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Imo Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, after a series of disturbing reports of kidnapping attacks on motorists in the Ngor Okpala axis.

According to police accounts, intelligence-led investigations revealed that one High Chief Stanley Oparaugo, also known as “Morocco,” of Ngor Okpala, is the suspected kingpin of the syndicate. He allegedly owns Jessy Best Hotel, Ihitte Okwe, and a nearby mortuary known as Ugwudi, both situated along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road.

Police said the gang lured victims into the hotel, where they were robbed, abducted and forced to pay ransom. Several victims who reportedly paid ransom were never seen again by their families.

Further investigations indicated that victims were moved from the hotel to the mortuary, where they were allegedly killed and their body parts harvested for sale to criminal buyers.

Led by CP Danjuma, police operatives visited the scene, where Jessy Best Hotel was found completely deserted. At the Ugwudi mortuary, officers discovered several mutilated corpses, believed to be victims of the operation.

The police said efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing High Chief Oparaugo and members of his criminal gang.

The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Imo State Commissioner for Health, the Chairperson of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area and local vigilante groups. Tactical teams, including the ACP in charge of operations, the Divisional Police Officer for Ngor Okpala and community vigilantes, have been deployed to take over the area and prevent further criminal activity.

The Imo State Police Command urged residents to remain vigilant and continue providing information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.

General Buratai Reply to SaharaReporters

UNEQUIVOCAL REJECTION OF FALSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIS EXCELLENCY, LIEUTENANT GENERAL TY BURATAI (RTD) CFR

Our attention has been drawn to an online publication by the infamous Sahara Reporters linking the precious name of His Excellency, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai (rtd) CFR, Betara of Biu, Garkuwan Keffi, former Chief of Army Staff and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, with individuals alleged to be terrorism financiers. These allegations are false, unfounded, mischievous, and amount to a smear campaign deliberately designed to tarnish his name and reputation.

The insinuation that His Excellency was connected, directly or indirectly, to terrorism financing is entirely fabricated, inconsistent with facts, and fundamentally at odds with his values and lifelong commitment to defending Nigeria against terrorism. At no point in his distinguished career has he ever been questioned, investigated, indicted, or associated with any such matter by any official body or authority. No security institution, intelligence agency, judicial panel, diplomatic mission, oversight mechanism, or administrative body has ever linked him with terrorism financing in any form. The narrative being circulated by Sahara Reporters, relying solely on the unverified personal claims of Major General Danjuma Ali-Keffi (rtd), is therefore a clear misrepresentation borne out of malice and lacks any factual or legal foundation.

It is regrettable, though unsurprising, that Sahara Reporters has once again attempted to drag the precious name of His Excellency into disrepute, a pattern it has repeatedly pursued over the years, albeit unsuccessfully. Each attempt has failed because his record remains forthright, transparent, and distinguished by honourable service to the nation.

For over four decades, His Excellency, Lieutenant General TY Buratai (rtd) CFR, served this nation with honour, courage and steadfast commitment to defeating terrorism. Under his leadership, the Nigerian Army significantly degraded Boko Haram and ISWAP, recovered previously occupied territories, restored civil administration, and returned displaced Nigerians to their homes. It defies logic and conscience to suggest that the same person who led decisive actions against terrorism would in any way be associated with the very elements he spent his career confronting.

In view of this, we call on Sahara Reporters and Major General Ali-Keffi (rtd) to immediately retract their publication and tender an unreserved public apology to His Excellency. Failure to do so will leave us with no option but to initiate appropriate legal proceedings to protect his reputation and seek redress for this malicious attack.

His Excellency remains focused on academic engagements, policy contributions, peace advocacy, and philanthropic initiatives aimed at reinforcing national development. His legacy is well documented and will not be diminished by unfounded narratives or deliberate misinformation.

When Limited Education Dominates Enlightened Discourse: The Dachoma–Kanu Problem: Charles Chidi Achodo

Nigeria’s public sphere is trapped in a crisis far deeper than insecurity or bad governance. It is suffocating under an epidemic of uninformed loudness—a distortion where individuals with limited educational grounding and even more limited intellectual discipline now dominate conversations that demand rigor, history, and analytical depth. Few exemplify this degeneration more than Reverend Dachoma and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Let us be clear: the problem is not about certificates. It is about the absence of disciplined thought—the inability to interrogate evidence, the refusal to engage complexity, and the arrogance that mistakes fervour for understanding.

Both men embody a tragic phenomenon: people speaking boldly on matters they neither grasp nor have taken the time to understand, while leading their audiences into emotional agitation rather than intellectual clarity.

Their interventions are not just shallow; they are recklessly reductionist. They wander into debates about religious tension, ethnic identity, state violence, federalism, and historical grievances—and promptly flatten these issues with the blunt force of simplistic narratives.

Dachoma converts structural failures into spiritual theatre. I didn't know what to say watching Rev. Dachoma refer to Muslim/muslim ticket as complete genocide!!
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu distills multifaceted political realities into incendiary slogans. He even lost basic etiquette and decorum with his infantile ranting in court " You no know law" against a Judge.

In their hands, national debate becomes a performance, not a pursuit of truth.

This is dangerous.
When the intellectually unprepared dominate enlightened discourse, society becomes a victim of their limitations. People who should be students of national issues suddenly crown themselves as teachers. People who should be asking questions begin issuing decrees. The less they know, the more authoritative they sound.

I tried pointing the mid characterizations of the insecurity in the middle as genocide against Christians. I took time outlining the historical origin of that term and the essential features that define it. Yet a guy abused me and accused me of supporting Wike and Yerima - people I don't know. He disregarded the thrust of my post - the principle of subordination of military authority to civilian oversight - a core virtue of constitutional democracy. I even pointed out how the US Defense Secretary summouned the US top military commanders and read a riot act to them yet those dignified Generals kept quiet and face serious!!

Confidence without competence is a public hazard. This is the defining signature of both Dachoma and Kanu. Their rhetoric carries the heat of conviction but none of the weight of comprehension. Their narratives dissolve under factual scrutiny. Their conclusions lack historical grounding. Their arguments operate at the level of instinct and indignation, not insight. What they broadcast is not enlightenment but confusion.

The digital ecosystem only amplifies the problem. Virality rewards certainty, not depth. Outrage travels farther than analysis. In this climate, Dachoma and Kanu wield megaphones far larger than their intellectual discipline can sustain.

Clerical authority and revolutionary charisma become substitutes for careful thinking. Thus, national discourse is hijacked by men whose loudness compensates for their lack of analytical grounding.

Meanwhile, thoughtful Nigerians—historians, governance experts, security analysts, conflict-resolution practitioners—struggle to be heard over the roar of uninformed populism. The result is a public square polluted by emotion-driven commentary, where ignorance sells faster than insight.

Nigeria cannot afford this. A nation on the brink of structural collapse needs thinkers, not performers. It needs citizens capable of nuance, not demagogues intoxicated by their own rhetoric. It needs informed voices willing to elevate discourse, not agitators who feed on polarization.

Let us speak plainly:
Dachoma and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are not thought leaders; they are thought liabilities.
They do not deepen understanding; they hollow it out.
Their influence is not enlightenment; it is miseducation weaponized.

If Nigeria is to reclaim its public sphere, it must re-establish a basic rule of civic intelligence:

Let those who know speak—and let those who do not know learn.

What must never continue is granting national influence to individuals whose confidence expands in direct proportion to their ignorance.

Nigerian Air Force attack aircraft, most likely A-29 Super Tucanos conducted multiple strikes, killing scores of BHT/ISWAP fighters. The insurgents, estimated at about 300 strong, had launched a coordinated pincer assault on troops of the 28 Task Force Brigade, Sector 4, attempting to outflank and overrun their position at around 3 a.m. on Saturday.

The troops held their ground in a fierce two hour firefight. When the terrorists failed to overrun the position, they attempted to withdraw toward the Timbuktu Triangle. But their escape route had already been identified, and NAF attack aircraft were vectored to intercept. The arrival of the jets sealed their fate.

The NAF carried out multiple interdiction sorties against the fleeing fighters. The first strike hit a cluster of terrorists attempting to regroup, while follow up sorties targeted the surviving elements who scattered into the forest in a bid to escape.

The ordeal was far from over for the surviving terrorists. NAF armed attack drones soon joined the fray, maintaining continuous ISR overwatch as they delivered precision strikes on the remaining fighters attempting to make a hasty retreat.

Once again, the Nigerian military effectively combined intelligence, surveillance, and coordinated air ground operations to decimate terrorists attempting a surprise assault on troop positions.
IslamThe Most Dangerous Form Of Terrorism by Amoto94(op): 5:20pm On Nov 28, 2025
THE MOST DANGEROUS FORM OF TERRORISM

Terrorism is of two types, physical terrorism and ideological terrorism.

While speaking about the dangers of Ideological terrorism, Shaykh Ali Ibn Muhammad Ibn Naasir Al-Faqeehiy said in his foreword for the book “Terrorism and its effects upon individuals and the society” by Shaykh Zayd Al-Madkhaliy:

“It (i.e. Ideological terrorism) is more dangerous upon the Islamic nation and its youth than physical terrorism, this is because Ideological terrorism is what leads and calls them to carry out physical terrorism.”

An example of this is the statement of the one who murdered Uthman, the third Khalifah of Islam, which is mentioned in books of Islamic history where he said:

"I stabbed him 9 times, 3 was for Allaah and 6 was for the hatred in my heart (towards him)"

Imagine the level of radicalization he was upon before he carried out this terrorist act. He was radicalized by Abdullaahi Ibn Saba.

The case of Micheal Adebolajo and Adebowale who made some terrorist attacks in the UK is something that cannot be forgotten. They were victims of ideological terrorism, before they implemented it physically. Allegedly, they were radicalized by the likes of Anjem Choudhary.

What is the solution?

Shaykh Zayd Ibn Muhammad Ibn Haadi Al-Madkhaliy mentioned in the same book:

"Indeed, the treatment to this disease rather protection from it is by Islamic intellectual sensitization which none knows except the salafi scholars who nurture and sensitize the creation, preach to them and guide them while following the footsteps of the noble Messengers and Prophets, those whom Allaah has sent to the creations as callers (to Allaah) and teachers (of the right path)”

When you tell a people who reject a version of a story told by another group to go and tell their own story, do you not see the contradiction in that instruction? To reject a story is, in itself, a form of storytelling. It is what we call the antithesis, the other side of the narrative, the other shades of the colour.

This sits comfortably within the argument developed by Hegel in his theory of dialectics. In this framework, the thesis is the original proposition or narrative. The antithesis is the counter-proposition that challenges, critiques, or rejects the thesis. The synthesis is the new understanding that emerges from the tension between the two, a more complex and reconciled truth produced when opposing narratives interrogate each other.

So stop telling people who react to a story told about them to write their own version of that story. They are already doing so in rejecting your version, in picking holes in a narrative already constructed, in interrogating an argument already made, and in stirring interest in a deeper, more layered account than the first story ever allowed. Rebellion Against the Ruler
🔴 A man from the Khawarij once came to Al-Hasan Al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) and asked him about rebelling against the ruler.
Al-Hasan said to him:
“Tell me, does the ruler prevent you from performing prayers, giving zakat, performing Hajj or Umrah?”
The man replied: “No.”
So Al-Hasan said:
“Then it seems he only prevents you from worldly gains — and you want to fight him for the sake of the world.”
📕 Al-Basa’ir wal-Dhakha’ir, Vol. 1, p.156 (slightly summarized)
---
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
The Prophet ﷺ forbade fighting or rebelling against the rulers — even if they are unjust and oppressive — as long as they establish prayer.
This was to block the door to great corruption and massive evil that comes from fighting them.
Indeed, the evils and calamities caused by rebellion are far worse than their injustices,
and the Muslim Ummah is still suffering from the consequences of those rebellions until today.
📜 Ighathat al-Lahfan (1/631)
---
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
When you see that the rulers wrong people — in their wealth, their bodies, or prevent them from calling to Allah —
then reflect on the state of the people!
You will find that the root of the problem lies within the people themselves.
They deviated from the truth, so Allah appointed over them rulers as a punishment for their deeds.
📘 Sharh Riyadh al-Saliheen (Vol. 2, p.35)
---
Al-Hasan Al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) also said:
“Know — may Allah have mercy on you — that the oppression of kings is one of Allah’s punishments,
and Allah’s punishments are not repelled with swords,
but they are repelled and lifted by du‘a (supplication), repentance, returning to Allah, and abandoning sins.”
📕 Adab al-Hasan al-Basri by Ibn al-Jawzi (p.119)
---
Shaykh ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Nasir al-Sa‘di (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“Insulting rulers and leaders brings great evil and harm — both public and private.
And often, those who insult them have never once sincerely advised them.
This is a sign of deception — both towards the ruler and towards the people.”
📚 Majmu‘ al-Sa‘di (25/375)
---
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
