Troops of OPHK Foil Terrorist Logistics Movement, Neutralize 17 Insurgents in Coordinated Ambush Operation

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with local vigilante elements, have successfully disrupted a terrorist logistics operation and neutralized multiple insurgents during a well-coordinated long-range ambush as part of current kinetic operations conducted in the early hours of 21 December 2025.

Acting on credible intelligence from own sources regarding the movement of logistics supplies by suspected JAS/ISWAP elements, troops of OPHK and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), supported by local hunters, deployed to a designated interception point between Sojiri and Kayamla villages on the night of 20 December 2025.

At approximately 2:24 a.m. on 21 December, suspected terrorists mounted on bicycles arrived at the location conveying logistics materials, confirming earlier intelligence reports. The troops, positioned in concealed and coordinated formations, engaged the terrorists decisively.

During the ensuing exchange, 17 suspected terrorists were neutralized, while others fled the scene with gunshot wounds. Recovered items included: Several bicycles, Assorted food items, Drugs and medical supplies,Detergents,
Clothing materials, Bicycle tyres,Torch lights and other sundry logistics items, Assorted Weapons of different calibres and ammunition.

Following the successful engagement, the ambush team safely withdrew to its base location at approximately 4:20 a.m. Exploitation and follow-up are on going to further assess the area and deny insurgents freedom of movement.

Troops remain in high morale, with fighting efficiency assessed as strong and unwavering.
This operation underscores the continued effectiveness of intelligence-driven, joint security efforts in degrading terrorist networks and disrupting their sustainment capabilities.

Troops intercept vehicles conveying suspected ISWAP logistics in Yobe

Troops of Sector 2 of the Nigerian Army in collaboration with Civilian Joint Task Force intercepted two pickup vans conveying assorted items suspected to be logistics supplies for the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Borno State.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the interception followed credible human intelligence indicating the movement of the items from Dapchi through the Magumeri general area.

According to the source, the troops intercepted the vehicles during the operation and took the drivers into custody for further interrogation.

Items recovered from the two vehicles included 31 spare tyres, 23 spare rims, two bicycles, 12 key starters, three alternators, two bags of flour, one mattress, five bags of charcoal, 34 tubers of yam, two blankets, nylon bags containing garri, adult and children clothing, one power bank, six mobile phones and a cash sum of N92,600.

The source added that the vehicles and recovered items were currently in custody, while investigations were ongoing to determine the extent of the suspects’ involvement and possible links to ISWAP logistics networks.

The troops, the source said, remained committed to disrupting the movement of supplies to terrorist groups and maintaining pressure on criminal elements across the area of responsibility.

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI Decimate Terrorists from Mandara Mountains During Foiled Infiltration Attempt into Bitta

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have decisively thwarted an early-morning attempt by terrorists operating from the Mandara Mountains to infiltrate Bitta, neutralising several insurgents and dealing a significant blow to their operational capability.

At about 0030 hours on 18 December 2025, troops, supported by advanced surveillance systems, detected the movement of terrorists advancing towards the area. Exercising tactical restraint and professionalism, the troops allowed the terrorists to move into an effective engagement range before unleashing coordinated defensive fires. The engagement resulted in the neutralisation of several insurgents, including a top key terrorist fighter and his cameraman.

As the surviving terrorists attempted to withdraw, follow-on precision strikes were subsequently conducted by the Air Component of OPHK, further decimating the retreating elements and disrupting their escape routes.

Following the engagement, troops conducted a thorough exploitation of the area, leading to the recovery of significant terrorist equipment and logistics. Items recovered include a camcorder, AK-47 rifles, bandoliers, handheld radios, 11 AK-47 magazines with rounds, 7 mobile phones, PKT machine guns, several belts of PKT and GPMG linked ammunition, as well as motorcycles and bicycles.

Further exploitation revealed multiple blood trails and shallow graves, indicative of additional casualties sustained by the terrorists during the encounter and subsequent air strikes.

Troops’ morale and fighting efficiency remain high as operations continue to deny terrorists freedom of action and ensure the safety and security of communities within the area of responsibility.

Troops of OPHK remain resolute in their commitment to decisively defeat all terrorist elements and restore lasting peace and stability across the North East region.

20. And among His Signs is this, that He created you (Adam) from dust, and then (Hawwa (Eve) from Adams rib, and then his offspring from the semen, and), - behold you are human beings scattered!

21. And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.

22. And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.

23. And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen.

24. And among His Signs is that He shows you the lightning, by way of fear and hope, and He sends down water (rain) from the sky, and therewith revives the earth after its death. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who understand.

25. And among His Signs is that the heaven and the earth stand by His Command, then afterwards when He will call you by single call, behold, you will come out from the earth (i.e from your graves for reckoning and recompense).

26. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to Him.

27. And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the AllMighty, the AllWise.

28. He sets forth for you a parable from your ownselves, - Do you have partners among those whom your right hands possess (i.e your slaves) to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Whom you fear as you fear each other? Thus do We explain the signs in detail to a people who have sense.

29. Nay, but those who do wrong follow their own lusts without knowledge, Then who will guide him whom Allah has sent astray? And for such there will be no helpers.

30. So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islamic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allah Alone) Allahs Fitrah (i.e. Allahs Islamic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalqillah (i.e. the Religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. (Tafsir AtTabaree, Vol 21, Page 41)

31. (Always) Turning in repentance to Him (only), and be afraid and dutiful to Him; and perform AsSalat (IqamatasSalat) and be not of AlMushrikoon (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.).

32. Of those who split up their religion (i.e. who left the true Islamic Monotheism), and became sects, (i.e. they invented new things in the religion (Bidah), and followed their vain desires), each sect rejoicing in that which is with it.

33. And when harm touches men, they cry sincerely only to their Lord (Allah), turning to Him in repentance, but when He gives them a taste of His Mercy, behold! a party of them associate partners in worship with their Lord.

34. So as to be ungrateful for the graces which We have bestowed on them. Then enjoy (your short life); but you will come to know.

35. Or have We revealed to them a Scripture, which speaks of that which they have been associating with Him?

36. And when We cause mankind to taste of mercy, they rejoice therein, but when some evil afflicts them because of (evil deeds and sins) that their (own) hands have sent forth, lo! They are in despair!

37. Do they not see that Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who believe.

38. So give to the kindred his due, and to AlMiskeen (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allahs Countenance, and it is they who will be successful.

39. And that which you give in gift (to others), in order that it may increase (your wealth by expecting to get a better one in return) from other peoples property, has no increase with Allah, but that which you give in Zakat seeking Allahs Countenance then those, they shall have manifold increase.

40. Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Is there any of your (socalled) partners (of Allah) that do anything of that ? Glory be to Him! And Exalted be He above all that (evil) they associate (with Him).

41. Evil (sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon).

42. Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Travel in the land and see what was the end of those before (you)! Most of them were Mushrikoon (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc.)."

43. So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face to (the obedience of Allah, your Lord) the straight and right religion (Islamic Monotheism), before there comes from Allah a Day which none can avert it. On that Day men shall be divided ((in two groups), a group in Paradise and a group in Hell).

44. Whosoever disbelieves will suffer from his disbelief, and whosoever does righteous good deeds (by practising Islamic Monotheism), then such will prepare a good place (in Paradise) for themselves (and will be saved by Allah from His Torment).

45. That He may reward those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, out of His Bounty. Verily, He likes not the disbelievers.

46. And among His Signs is this, that He sends the winds as glad tidings, giving you a taste of His Mercy (i.e. rain), and that the ships may sail at His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, in order that you may be thankful.

47. And indeed We did send Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelief, setting partners in worship with Allah, sins, etc.), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).

48. Allah is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! Then when He has made them fall on whom of His slaves as He will, lo! they rejoice!

49. And verily before that (rain), just before it was sent down upon them, they were in despair!

50. Look then at the effects (results) of Allahs Mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Verily! That (Allah) Who revived the earth after its death shall indeed raise the dead (on the Day of Resurrection), and He is Able to do all things.

51. And if We send a wind (which would spoil the green growth (tilth) brought up by the previous rain), and they see (their tilth) turn yellow, behold, they then after their being glad, would become unthankful (to their Lord Allah as) disbelievers.

52. So verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. the disbelievers, etc.), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs, turning away.

53. And you (O Muhammad SAW) cannot guide the blind from their straying; you can make to hear only those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and have submitted to Allah in Islam (as Muslims).

54. Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the AllKnowing, the AllPowerful (i.e. Able to do all things).

55. And on the Day that the Hour will be established, the Mujrimoon (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) will swear that they stayed not but an hour, thus were they ever deluded (away from the truth (i.e they used to tell lies and take false oaths, and turn away from the truth) in this life of the world)).

56. And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not."

57. So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail those who did wrong (by associating partners in worship with Allah, and by denying the Day of Resurrection), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek Allahs Pleasure (by having Islamic Faith with righteous deeds and by giving up polytheism, sins and crimes with repentance).

58. And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Quran every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad SAW) bring to them any sign or proof, (as an evidence for the truth of your Prophethood), the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): "You follow nothing but falsehood, and magic."

59. Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who know not (the proofs and evidence of the Oneness of Allah i.e. those who try not to understand true facts that which you (Muhammad SAW) have brought to them).

60. So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and let not those who have no certainty of faith, discourage you from conveying Allahs Message (which you are obliged to convey).

The oil being imported is Urals oil from Russia which is illegally refined in Malta at $7-$20 discount from Brent or Bonny light which is Dangotes primary source

Dangote cannot brazenly purchase Urals oil for risk of sanctions on him and the Nigerian Government

The 15% tariff is designed to close that margin gap and level the playing field

Refining is a low margin business and you cannot make up $20 per barrell price differential from the refining process. It would be cheaper to buy the shadow Maltese refined oil and transport it to Nigeria than to buy Brent and refine in Nigeria. Hence his connundrum. NNPCL are rendering him uncompetitive by engaging in black market importation that he is not allowed to partake in.

In business, everything is about margins, never personal, and he will fight until he is at parity on input price, then may the best man win from there.

None of his Financial feasibility models predicted the Russia-Ukraine war that led to this price differential, he is highly overleveraged with cost overruns and probably at risk (if not already) breaching all his loan covenants (loan covenants specify profitability and gearing ratios like Loan-to-Value etc that must be met, otherwise he would be in breach which comes with interest penalties or worse such as a lien on his collateral). He is in a fight for his life here. This is all triggered by the erasure of the 15% tariff.

More oil to your head for this. You see why many won't venture into large scale business involving production/manufacturing in Nigeria it is due to the high risk involved. This is why some will just go into buying and selling

TROOPS NEUTRALISED KIDNAPPER, ARREST INFORMANTS IN PLATEAU

Troops of the Joint Task Force Operation ENDURING PEACE (JTF OPEP), while conducting Operation PEACE SHIELD, have successfully neutralised a kidnapper and arrested suspected informants during a swift response to a kidnapping incident in Jos North Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State.

Acting on credible intelligence on 15 December 2025, troops responded to a reported kidnapping attempt at a location in Dong community, Jos North LGA. Upon arrival, troops engaged the kidnappers, forcing them to abandon their mission and flee the area.

However, while retreating, the criminals diverted to an adjoining community where they abducted 4 persons. Troops immediately mobilised in pursuit and engaged the criminals in a firefight, during which one kidnapper was neutralised.

Following the engagement, troops recovered one AK-47 rifle with a magazine and 4 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition from the neutralised kidnapper. Additionally, 3 suspected informants aiding the kidnappers were arrested.

Efforts are currently ongoing to rescue the abducted victims and to apprehend other members of the criminal network involved in the incident.

The Joint Task Force Operation ENDURING PEACE assures the general public of its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Plateau State, and indeed the entire Joint Operations Area (JOA). NAF EXECUTES SUCCESSFUL AIR INTERDICTION AGAINST TERRORIST LOGISTICS IN SOUTHERN TUMBUNS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully conducted a precision Air Interdiction (AI) mission on 14 December 2025 at Dabar Masara, a known terrorist location in the Southern Tumbuns, as part of ongoing operations to disrupt terrorist activities and logistics. Acting on credible intelligence indicating the presence of a terrorist workshop and sustained movement of armed elements, the Air Component of Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI deployed an integrated force package to conduct coordinated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions with strike operations. Prior ISR missions had revealed repeated terrorist movement within the area, as well as a significant concentration of vehicles concealed under vegetation, confirming the location as an active terrorist logistics hub.

On the day of the operation, further surveillance validated the earlier findings, with terrorists observed manoeuvring within the location and around the identified vehicles. Following positive identification and in strict adherence to the Rules of Engagement, the targets were engaged. Post-operation Battle Damage Assessment confirmed that the identified vehicles were destroyed and terrorist elements were neutralised. The successful execution of this mission underscores the NAF’s continued commitment to intelligence-driven, precise air operations in support of national efforts to degrade terrorist networks and enhance security across affected regions.

E‑commerce startup in the format of a Telegram MiniApp. Looking for a strong middle+ full‑stack developer with the potential to grow into a senior role.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the MiniApp frontend using React + Vite + Tailwind CSS + Redux Toolkit (onboarding, catalog, product card, checkout, receipt upload, balance).
- Develop and maintain the backend using Node.js + Express + MongoDB + Mongoose (users, orders, sellers, cashback, TON wallet integration).
- Handle deployment and production support on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, PM2, Nginx, systemd.
- Work within a Scrum framework: sprints, planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, and retrospectives.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of commercial experience with JS/TS, solid strong middle+ full‑stack (React + Node.js).
- Proven production experience with the stack: React/Vite/Tailwind/Redux Toolkit and Node/Express/Mongo/Mongoose.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong communication soft skills and sense of ownership: ability to explain decisions clearly, collaborate, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for production results.
- Willingness to work full‑time only on this project (no second job or freelancing).
- Ambition and motivation to grow to senior level within the next 1–2 years.

Imo Police uncover hotel and mortuary allegedly used for kidnapping, organ harvesting in Ngor Okpala, Imo State

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have uncovered a hotel and a mortuary allegedly used by a criminal syndicate for kidnapping, ransom collection and organ harvesting along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.

The discovery, announced on Saturday, followed weeks of covert surveillance ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Imo Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, after a series of disturbing reports of kidnapping attacks on motorists in the Ngor Okpala axis.

According to police accounts, intelligence-led investigations revealed that one High Chief Stanley Oparaugo, also known as “Morocco,” of Ngor Okpala, is the suspected kingpin of the syndicate. He allegedly owns Jessy Best Hotel, Ihitte Okwe, and a nearby mortuary known as Ugwudi, both situated along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road.

Police said the gang lured victims into the hotel, where they were robbed, abducted and forced to pay ransom. Several victims who reportedly paid ransom were never seen again by their families.

Further investigations indicated that victims were moved from the hotel to the mortuary, where they were allegedly killed and their body parts harvested for sale to criminal buyers.

Led by CP Danjuma, police operatives visited the scene, where Jessy Best Hotel was found completely deserted. At the Ugwudi mortuary, officers discovered several mutilated corpses, believed to be victims of the operation.

The police said efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing High Chief Oparaugo and members of his criminal gang.

The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Imo State Commissioner for Health, the Chairperson of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area and local vigilante groups. Tactical teams, including the ACP in charge of operations, the Divisional Police Officer for Ngor Okpala and community vigilantes, have been deployed to take over the area and prevent further criminal activity.

The Imo State Police Command urged residents to remain vigilant and continue providing information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
