80% of the appointments Buhari has made so far are mostly from the north (core north in most cases). But it's a deep contradiction that when it comes to defending his criminality, about 50% of those hired to do the dirty job are of southern extraction.

Sad you're a civil servant, but this is the general perception outside those crooked, do-little-or-nothing-all-day offices called ministries.

They say Nigeria is corrupt, Nigeria is corrupt. But to start the real cleanising, goverment needs to flush out the current civil service - whether wholesale or gradual. They contaminate genuine intention of a new leadership. They don't depend on their salary, but eyeing corrupt gains. You'll be surprised, even a typist will be eyeing one 'N2 millon' cash from budget padding, not to talk of legal officers like amtaken. Go and prove yourself in the private practice, rather than the rosy, corrupt offices of the civil service. A Nigerian civil servant would be using a broken chair and table in a dirty corner in a shared office, but he/she is building a multi-million naira edifice from corrupt gains in Shagamu. It stinks!

If you want to really change Nigeria, start with the civil service. Retire them all and get new guys with private sector mentality and watch things change overnight!

Maybe BH should relocate to your community so that you will understand what the victims are going through, maybe that will stop you from politicising it.

Dear learned friend, I want to ask you a few questions hopefully that will make us both understand the situation better. Fayose's account was frozen but he was NOT arrested nor detained (ordinarily he should have been arrested by now but for his status as governor and the yeye immunity crap).
It is a clear principle in constitutional law that a sitting governor can be investigated but can't prosecuted until he leaves office. I believe the answer to your question has been answered in the bolded above. Freezing his account still falls under investigation and results of which will be used for his eventual prosecution after his tenure. Let's call the exercise building up facts for the main thing (trial and subsequent prosecution).
Please tell me how has the EFCC contravened the law?
Fayose is one lousy hell of a governor making so much noise and yet with lots of worms canned in his kitchen. The world will be shocked at revelations that will exposed in days to come. If he must act the opposition, his hands should at least be clean. What can Ekiti people point to as achievement since taking over mantle of leadership in the state? Except for been blessed with the most lousy governor, can he defend all the allocation given to the state so far?
Tinubu did a good job playing the watchdog during the OBJ administration. Baba tried to frustrate him but as "corrupt" as people said Tinubu was... Developmental projects were in Top Gear in Lagos State. Till today BAT commands respect even among the new opposition.
What has the bus conductor of a governor given his people apart from stomach infrastructure that stripped them of their mandate.
Time will fail me to hit the cord on the numerous blunders of the frog eyed tout in Ekiti. But like I said, in days to come Nigerians will be shocked with the facts that will be exposed of our dear lousy governor.
Fayose should in the mean time chill and try to correct things that are still correctable.

3. Wardrobe Allowance payable every March.

5. Bar Conference Allowance in August.

If Buhari, Adeosun, National Assembly Members, Senators, Governors and other Government officials can be paid allowances, what makes you think the workers shouldn't be paid?


Why did they omit it in the 2016 budget? Why did they not omit their own allowances?
