Health / Re: Her Blood Is Not On My Hands - The Travails Of A Nigerian Medical Doctor by amunites19(m): 11:31pm On May 23, 2016
Sorry Doctor, I understand everything i have brothers who are doctors, I always tell them the same thing. I believe it will help no matter what profession we are practicing to have another business aside, there are many businesses which don't really need us to be around full time, like transportation business giving it out as hire-purchase, setting up of a shopping complex…………

datigbogirl:

Do you know the kind of stress it takes and d energy it saps out of one just to do my job as a Doctor? So after performing a tasking 4hour operation for peanuts i should still go out and hustle to make actual ends meet and fen come back for another surgery again... Den when i doze off on a patient and forget a forceps in d intestine you'll be the first to call for my Jugular...

Despite the fact i was working alone in d ward seeing 5 different patients at the same time...i was so overwhelmed i forgot to document for a patient what i actually did for him..yet my Oga scolded me and told me i must always document first for each patient i see b4 moving to another patient because d Lawyer will not hear dat one in court oh...he'll look for every means to nail you even though i was trying to save as much people's life by attending to emergencies first b4 documenting.

Even in developed countries Doctors actually practise safety dan compassion now cos the people you're having compassion for will tear you to pieces in d court of law....

If most of our doctors believed that most priority in medical system is making money, that is good for them. but my fear for them is they may end up hurting many and the same time not making the money.
Health / Re: Her Blood Is Not On My Hands - The Travails Of A Nigerian Medical Doctor by amunites19(m): 12:00pm On Mar 24, 2016
Reason why medical line is not mean for business is: sickness attack patients un expected that means it may come when the patient or his family has no money and a poor person who has no money can develop a serious sickness. Is not like business of selling car where by any costumer come must have prepared for it and there is enough time for bargaining. but a patient can develop a sickness and rush to a hospital and some doctors will msee it as an opportunity to get a good bargain but truly the patient or his family has no money. Some doctors also are not good in management, I known a very small hospital with almost ten nurses, to pay their salaries, hospital rent, doctor's own gain and other bills, and they don't have patients, that is why if they see a patient is like hungry lion saw a meat. a hospital can own shopping complex in their building and other businesses to be making extra money.
Health / Re: Her Blood Is Not On My Hands - The Travails Of A Nigerian Medical Doctor by amunites19(m): 10:26pm On Mar 23, 2016
Some doctors are really good and very helpful, but I think the best way to solve Nigerian health problems is doctors must find another extra way of making money instead of completely depending of their medical processes. Medical system is like men of God who try preach for God, ones they totally depend on it as their main source of income they can never get it right.

Health / Re: Unfortunate Deaths In Our Hospitals; A Nurse's Perspective by amunites19(m): 3:17pm On Nov 07, 2015
The issue that worries people is not the actual cost of the treatment but trying to complicate patients' conditions in order to charge big amount of money or to prolong staying in hospital so as to charge more days for bed. If you check hospitals charges in abroad you will surprise why our hospitals ate charging hundreds for mostly malaria treatment.
Health / Re: Unfortunate Deaths In Our Hospitals; A Nurse's Perspective by amunites19(m): 2:26pm On Nov 07, 2015
#killerdoctor is just like an assassins he has no moral feelings, he only think about the money aspects. they established a sub standard hospitals with unqualified nurses so that they can be paying them peanut, they are very arrogant claim to known everything, they can not reffer further for what they don't known. Yahoo Yahoo boys are far better than them because yahoo boys don't play direct with peoples' life, #killerdoctors are more dangerous than Yahoo boys.

Health / When Blood Transfusion Is Necessary According To PCV Blood Test? by amunites19(m): 7:58am On Sep 05, 2015
Critically high or low levels should be immediately called to the attention of the patient's nurse or doctor. Transfusion decisions are based on the results of laboratory tests, including the hematocrit. Generally, transfusion is not considered necessary if the hematocrit is above 21%. The hematocrit is also used as a guide to how many transfusions are needed. Each unit of packed red blood cells administered to an adult is expected to increase the hematocrit by approximately 3% to 4%.

Family / How They Killed A Nairalander's Wife by amunites19(m): 11:24am On Aug 28, 2015
Sometimes you will wonder what is the different between killers (Assassins/robbers…..) and Doctors who neglect or show don’t care attitude which lead to the dead of their patient, he wrote on his facebook page:

“I believe nobody will pass the time Allah has specified for his life. But I cry every time I remember what she passed through in hospitals. The first hospital we were directed to NEW DAY CLINIC AND MATERNITY at school road behind Elenlewa central mosque, Portharcourt. They were just after maximizing profit so they complicated her condition, very hostile, and we tried several time to get referral latter to bigger hostpital they refused to give, we have to take her to University of Portharcourt teaching hospital without referral letter. Coincidently the same doctor that owns the first hospital is a staff of the teaching hospital, so we didn’t get good care at the hospital too there was a time in the night we found out the oxygen flogged to her is not following after I protested the person in charge came he said it was locked from outside so he on it again, I was shocked when one doctor was asking indigene ship of the patient.
I think Ministry of healths should be supervising hospitals especially private hospital unexpected; they may pretend to be patient in order to see what people pass through.”

Politics / Re: Biafra: Igbos Una Don Come Again. by amunites19(m): 10:54pm On Jun 21, 2015
I believe it would have been easier for igbos to actualise their biafra if to say they did not give up during civil war.

But now their main problem is SS region because SS now has oil and will not allow igbos to master them, and now SS has more power and rich people than igbos. The only option for igbos is if they got oil and SS trust them.

But me personally I don't see anything that Nigeria will loose if igbos go, but is always stronger togather.

That is a sign of a good manager when taking over a project has to ask of a perfomance report from past management so as to easily find the objectives of the project but, without it the new manager has to define the scope statement of the project togather with the management core members of the project.
Like what one chinese boss told me the first knowledge they copied from europeans was project management. to be able handle any work we need basics of project management, so as to known how to initiate, how to plan, to follow up the execution process, then monitoring through frequent check and collecting update and lastly closing stage.

That is advantage of opposition, the only thing that shake politicians is opposition but not GOD. That is why americans never stick to one party if republican under performed they go to democrat, they don't allow politician to play them. Party is not religion, party is only for contestants, party executives and campaign Managers.

The Problem in middle belt is the people think that Hausa/fulani are dominating them but the reality is if a domination is by hard work in business and making money there is no problem with it, as far the person did not force out the other from his business there is nothing wrong with it rather than helping to develop the area.
The problem with local middle belt men is they don't want to work rather than to sit and drink and Hausa/fulani should stop putting mouth in their leadership matter.
Lastly middle belt and Hausa/Fulani people are brothers, they have no option than to reconcile among themselves b/c the most difficult fight is a fight with neighbour. If you check a common southerner don't even no the d/f b/w middle belt person and Hausa/fulani weither muslim or christian, there is this saying in south that aboki is aboki.

Business / Re: Hausa Ajami/Arabic Inscriptions Removed From New N100 Note by amunites19(m): 11:35am On Nov 18, 2014
No need for arguments about this, if sardauna is alive I believe he will approve the removal of the hausa ajami at this time, the reason for it was because most of Hausa people can not read english alphabets or numbers unlike southerners during amalgamation period of Nigeria because white people already stayed for a long time in south before going to north and arabic already has been established in the north, it was approved by even leaders from south at that time, But now most of the people in the north can read the hausa english or the numerical.
But we should always try to be doing thing politely and try to be explaining to our people our reason of doing things they may understand, most people argue because they don't known.

Good news, it doesn't matter weither Civilian JTF or army JTF did it, and is good to provide competition to the army, but I think is better if they will be working together because the civilian JTF known the terrain even better than BH and army JTF are better trained and equiped.

Comparing Okocha and Kanu is like comparing Ronaldinho and Messi, Ronaldinho is very skillful and a complete dribbler while Messi is more of a team player, dribbling only when is necessary and always aiming toward a result, Ronaldinho is more entertaining while Messi brings results.

Good, that is exactly what I am talking about, that NFF should forget about the foreign coach they are proposing to bring, cos we can not afford the good ones.

My problem with our people is they believe that being a white has qualified a person to be a professional, If they are talking about foreign coach they should go for somebody like morinho, wenger, guardiola, ancelloti..... Especially now sir alex is available. And using local coaches is a process of grooming our on talents is like using local players in super eagle.
