Daily trust! Why did I even bother! |
You've got to be kidding me! So the writer of this article all in the bid to make sense ended up not making any. Amongst the 3 things he listed up there and spent time analysing, only one ofthem is technically a blunder ('stole' rather than 'steal') which is clearly a mistake of framing. The writer of this article just spent so much space ridiculing himself rather than the president who he sought to ridicule. It was clearly written with bias and bad faith. Need I remind anyone that English is a borrowed language and having a good command of the language is not necessarily intelligence as proven by the writer of this article. If you really want to discredit our humble amiable president, please try harder. This is one big pile of poo. |
femi4:You do know exactly what he was trying to pass across |
stpat1:The place of women in our society is a very serious issue. |
A smart man! unlike some chauvinist males that flooded this post. A woman is not a slave! She has brains and has much use in the society. Her life role should not revolve around pounding yams and making babies, but much much more. Women should be empowered to complete the bigger picture of the society. How hard is it to grasp this message APC chauvinists! What do you guys gain by always trying to twist the simple truth! |
ifyalways:Well if you live in Abuja. |
donmalcolm21:I'm not lying. |
EfemenaXY:She asked for my number in the restroom. Few minutes after I came back from the restroom she came to get the number since she didn't come with her phone to the bathroom. At that time I didn't know anything about them and their background. I gave her my number because of how polite she was and I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't flattered at being liked by the couple. But it basically ends there for me. I'm really not interested. |
This is wrong. very but the worst form of abused is from someone older and trusted. Now that one will scar you for life. I have tons of stories from uncle's, neighbours, Aunty's husband infact 50% of male adults i knew as a kid touched me inappropriately. I kept thinking I caused it somehow, now I know better. I'll do any thing to protect the kids and teens of today because such things messes with your ahead and traumatises you for life. You at a point start to feel like something beneath garbage. Hopefully I did turn out sane eventually. Glory be to God. |
Caveatemptor:Whatever you say then. |
bennyrazz:When something unusual happens to you, you'll want to tell the next person. no? |
Caveatemptor:Why would I want to do that. please go through my all my comments in this forum and see if I'm the unserious type of person. I'm not one to make up stories for the fun of it. Thank you. P.S. If you truly believe my stories are too incredulous to believe, that's the more reason to think my life has been really interesting. |
bennyrazz:Nope! |
Caveatemptor:Nah, not seeking any form of attention. I've had a really interesting life that's all. and there's a whole lot more stories I don't bother to pen down. Besides, writing one or two stories a year goes to show I'm not an attention seeker or a drama queen. |

ifyalways:You'll be surprised. |
alutacontinua:lol. You'll be surprised at the amount of information you can get from someone in just 5 minutes. Sister didn't verify the claim, but He knew a lot about her and her family and claims he was her boss years ago in the foreign affairs. He knew about the most recent happenings in her household and wanted us to meet another ambassador sitting in the same garden. We refused though and left. That basically verified his claim. plus there's Google! |
I love this piece. Let's protect the coming generation as we weren't protected ![]() |
blublahd:I'm very much open-minded. To each his own . . . by they're old na. Man is all frail. . . . |
Afrobasic:abi |
elantraceey:They said they have 5 kids some in university even. |
blublahd:Nope! ewwww. |
delishpot:True talk! I'll keep it in mind. Although his story checks out as my buddy who's sister is an ambassador to a country in Europe asked him some pointed questions which he answered perfectly. He even knows his family really and asked us to make enquires about him. |
delishpot:What if it turns about to be what I'm thinking. . . |
I found it slightly creepy though. |
Few days ago I was sitting chilling with a close buddy in garden taking some booze when this older couple walked in. The man should be close to 60 and the woman in her 40's. What instantly struck me about this couple was that they were wearing asoebi cut from the same material. After they sat down somewhere not too far off I paid no mind to them and continued the conversation with my male buddy. After an hour I went to use the restroom an ran into the same woman. She stopped to talk to me. She told me that both her and her husband were admiring me so much and that I was 'gallant' if I could to give her my number. She said they would have come to my table to talk to me but were scared because of my 'boyfriend' I quickly interjected that he was my best friend and after talking effusingly about how she and her husband found me very beautiful, she left for her sit. One striking thing about this woman was she was me in 20 years! the height (and I'm quite tall) the size, everything! When I went back to the seat she brought her phone, took my number and flashed me afterwards. My friend and I found it really amusing. As we were about leaving, I suggested we go say bye. while we were there the woman pulled me to corner to tell me how her husband likes me a lot and how they'd want to see me again and take care of me blah blah blah. They told me he was the Nigerian ambassador to an European country. We all chatted in common and left. They've been calling me since that day but I haven't taken their calls yet. What do you guys think. |
Makes sense. I knew there was a catch somewhere. |
I really don't know why the APC party always like to twist the truth and make a propaganda about everything in other to incite the masses by making it seem they're witch hunted. The truth is while there must have been warning to quell such inciting statements which causes mutiny and division in the army, there was no threat to detain or arrest him by the SSS this is simply because a sitting governor (which Ameachi still is by the way) is covered by a complete immunity. He cannot be arrested, detained or face any court trial in court while still in office. Please they shouldn't always look for disgustingly desperate ways to buy sympathy from the masses as this is getting really lame. |
How dumb can people be! If something good happens in Lagos it's Fashola. If something bad happens in the same Lagos, you'll blame GEJ. Let's reason like intelligent beings and leave sentiments aside in reasoning. |
Anyone who bothered to read this article will see what I've been saying for a while now. Buhari clearly has no plan for Nigeria. The summary of all theses talks is simply that If and when he wins, he'll get to know how to handle Nigeria's problem in a situation where he has insiders in some government establishment and cajols them to tell the truth! He says Nigeria today is different from 1982 when he was in power as lot's of people have been compromised. I laugh! Everyone is expecting a miracle. A buhari to come and wave a magic wand that will magically turn Nigeria to the place to be. Unfortunately, things don't work that way. I want buhari to win just to see the disappointment on the faces of his supporters if things don't dramatically change afte a few years in his government. People seem to forget that this is a democracy and when he ruled in the 80's was a complete Military dictatorship. Truth is corruption thrives more in a democracy. You can never send someone to jail on mere suspicions of corruption. Every thing has to cloaked under the rule of law. As I've said before, till that time comes when the average Nigerian overhauls his greed and selfishness tinged thinking, we will never move forward as as country. The problem is not Jonathan, his hands are tied, so will the hands of Buhari if he wins ( Which I greatly doubt). |
All this story about lack of weaponry have become really stale. Whoever advised them that disobeying orders will gain them the sympathy of the masses really did them strong thing. |
