A friend of mine sat at the hearing of the case in the federal high court. The scammer had the demeanour and disposition of a billionaire. He is an older man in his mid to late 50's so even that led credence to his claim of being a rich business man.

Apparently 200 million of the one billion was supposed to be the profits for these banks, so they were quick to clear the checks without much investigation. Serves them right. Unfortunately many innocent people will get fired for this.

I heard his accomplice the manager of Wema bank has disappeared with his share of the loot.

Amya, you are so hilarious. Some one tagged my moniker, that was what brought me to your latest fake thread. Sorry for coming late, but I was in an airport where internet service was restricted.
Got some advise for you. Delete youe Amya user name and register a new user name. That way you can open as many fake threads as you want and no one can connect it to the tainted Amya moniker.
Meanwhile I suggest you work your way into Nollywood, you could make a living out of writing movie scripts.
Sorry for quoting your numerous drama threads but I was scared you might delete them. No hard feelings-okay?
Wouldn't you feel foolish when you realise you're backing up the wrong tree. Why would I want to post fake stories.

If you continue to do this, I'll strike back! Two can play that game.

Yeye dey boom. cheesy
It really wouldn't be so hard for you to give me the benefit of doubt. What if by the slightest of margin all I've posted is the truth and you're being a jackass for your incessant doubt.

Now listen, I'm not looking for attention online. I'm not looking for traffic for my blog, My blog is political. I'm not serious about it, in fact the last time I updated the blog was many many months ago!

90% of my posts is in the 'politics' section!

This post took a lot of guts from me as there are some people on this forum that know me in real life!

The only reason I came out to say this to inform mothers that there's a chance there kids are getting abused under their noses because they're too trusting. I have a niece and nephews and I'm very protective of them. I quickly disengage any lingering hugs or lap seating from family members cos that's how it starts.

I read a story this morning here on Nairaland about a guys that was molested and while reading it, I had a flashback to my own experience, and tears started streaming down my eyes. Few minutes later I typed my own story. I understand his trauma cos I'm still traumatised from those experiences.

There should never be enough of these stories as it's an eye opener. I'm not looking for pity. I'm not a troll. Never been one.

If my stories look to incredulous to believe, then just turn a blind eye and move to other thread. By discrediting my story and my person, you may unknowingly maligned the minds of people who would have been truly helpful or helped by my story.

I had a friend that was abused, when she tried to tell her parents, no one belived her cos of the character of the person involved. She grew upp with so much hate, she was always deppppressed. Last I heard she slit her wrisT and wrote a sucide note. Everyone now started blaming themselves for not beliving her and giving her a chance. It was already too late.she was six feet under.

I don't want to get into the politics, and make this thread a political one. Let's leave it in the militarily context. However, I'll say this government has to be the worst one I've ever observed. The only thing it's doing is extreme corruption - and basically the total destruction of the structures in the country. I'll leave there.

To start from somewhere, you've to start with institutions, infrastructures, and the economy. However, Nigeria hasn't started anything - it's still in the doldrums. If you were a realist, you'd know that by now.

Also, take a look at the number of innocent folks that have died in the Boko Haram saga and all the suicide bombings - and correlate it with the lackadaisical approach they have taken thus far in combating it. That alone should give you a clearer picture of where the country is right now. It took a small country like Chad to get involved, for them to make tangible progress.
Are you based in Nigeria? No? Then we shouldn't be having this argument then. Your entire argument is based on hearsays and conjecture. I live it.

Good day!

SirShymexx:
I don't derive joy from antagonising the country - I'm just a real guy and I speak the truth. See, the truth is always bitter, and it's good to give folks reality check all the time. These folks have zero expectations, and they exist in their own little world - but there are standards out there. You can't keep celebrating mediocrity, once you start doing that, you'll never achieve anything tangible in life.

If I like Nigeria or not is out of the equation. However, I do know I'm connected to the place, and I want to see it compete at the top - not at the bottom with minnows. That's a country which was meant to be the saviour of the black world - but the story of Nigeria has been a huge disappointment, and arguably the biggest bust in history.

Is the APC decent? - yes, it's and I did allude to that. Is it worth celebrating as an achievement? - absolutely not. However, I'm just questioning why they didn't deploy them to the front-line since they're readily accessible in the country. Why should a proper military be driving Hilux trucks everywhere, when they've got APCs assembled in the country? - it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Malcolm X defined patriotism as: “You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it.” I think a lot of you need to learn from this quote.
You do know that to "compete" with those countries at the top, we have to start from somewhere. Previous governments have done nothing to harness our production capacity. The present government is doing it. If you're expecting to wake up from terrible to magnificent, you're in delusion then. It has to go from terrible- not so terrible- mediocre- above mediocre good and finally magnificent. We will get there someday. Generally I'm more of a realist than an optimist so I'm not hinging my bets on good faith and optimism, but rather on what I see on ground.

I'll play my part (no matter how little) in making my country the envy of nations. I'll never soil my hands in corrupt practices and sensitize people around me on the need to not involve involve themselves in corruption which is the root cause of Nigeria's problem. It may be slow, but we'll surely get there.

To the reason why our army still drive around in hilux vehicles rather than APC's, that I'm not privy to. Whatever the reason though, I trust it's for the good of the nation and her citizenry.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

You're a funny guy.

If I were to cite Algeria and its achievement militarily, you'll still find an illogical excuse to support ya ultra-nationalism induced by grandiose delusions. You're irredeemable.
I really don't get why any decent story emanating from Nigeria always have you up to arm to discredit and puncture the story. Are you really and truly a Nigerian? Do you love Nigeria? I highly doubt that though.

This is clearly a step in the right direction. take it or leave it.

I'm highly disappointed in you.

Lol
Point of correction
I'm only address the situation here so people will understand that the boy is from her while the girl is from another woman
Though i have not met with my son but he so cute and i love him so much
Every morning and evening she must send me a pix of him,i have like 6 videos of him and there no time i don't look at his pictures
He's my resemblance

Don't get it twist
Of course you love your son, you're just not bonded to him. You have to hold him In your hands for the strong connection to start taking shape. For now, he's probably like a loved nephew.

Women have very strong intuition, she senses that detachment you have with your own son. That's why she's not buying anything you have to say about not loving your son as much as you love your daughter. That explains the whines and incessant complains. It really wasn't about the money, it was what she sensed.

I don't believe she'd tear your family apart. What she needs is strong reassurance that she and her son are important to you as her daughter clearly is. When you can, go and see your son. Hopefully by that time, you haven't made any hasty decision you may live to regret.

I'd advice you not to dump her till you get to the root cause of her bitterness. But as I said earlier you can still go ahead and do what you want. Her life does not begin and end with you.

I understand what you are saying but I don't agree some of your points
A ring or marriage does not bring out respect in a woman...a disrespectful woman will always be like that whether ring or not until she decide to amend
Are there not wedding where both parent gave consent to but d union never went pass 3 months
If a woman cannot display a good xter before marriage then she will not even if you marry her
I have always look beyond her manners/fault but my issue with her now is her ungrateful and comparison with my daughter which goes to show she can't unite my daughter n her son
If she has shown this side before I don't think I would ve continue this far with her

I have never compared my daughter with her son...I hardly even discuss my daughter with her
How much did I spend on daughter last year compare to her son

All through last year....I only bought clothes during summer for my daughter, sept I enrolled her in a new sch of 67k...oct I gave my mum 10k to take her to hospital..finish

But her own case.....in march I spent 77k for ante natal, her pyschatric posting and allownace
May..I gave 180k for her 1st baby shopping......june I made a new bed frame and bought new foam for her for 50k.....august her pack bag for delivery I gave her 23k...all these doesn't include her monthly allowance
She gave birth sept 6th..on the 1st sept..I gave her 102k for delivery n allowance....oct..I gave her 120k for allownace, settle debt of 15k n buy few electronics....november...I gave her 80k for her and my son expenses....dec I gave her and her family 93k (50k for the parents)..........no wonder the father called on new year to bring the baby to visit him.....I gave them the money just put respect on her since I have not come to do the right thing

This year janaury....I only paid my daughter sch fees...40k.....while she and her son collected 53k
Then on the 26th she asked for her febuary allowance and money for dedication..I gave her 60k.......
The problem now is that on the 17th feb she asked for money I told her to wait till month so I will give her moni for both her sch stuff and allowance before she started vomitting rubbish that if it were my daughter n mother that requested moni I will run and send it
That the other day my daughter was not feeling fine I sent money but I refuse to respond now that she said her son is not fine
Also that the land my mum bought for me,she knows her son is not included but just me and my daughter
Lastly what does she really benefit from me self

The bible say....he that is faithful/grateful in little will be faithful/grateful in much..
She is very ungrateful and is too early for her to see my daughter as a rival
Is not healthy at all
I'm trying but she is not encouraging
For just this comment alone, I understand how this girl feels. You call your own son 'her son' whilst you call the other woman's child 'my daughter'. You've bonded so much with her and you clearly love her. (you should anyway, she's your daughter) But I doubt you've bonded with your son. You haven't been around him so much, so it's understandable. I won't be surprised if you use that tag 'your son' whilst talking to her. No wonder she feels maligned and unaccepted.

I sympathise with her. I understand her frustrations. You family has clearly not accepted her neither have you. I think you Mum would have preferred the first baby mama and that's why you thinking of going back to her even when it's clear that lot's water have crossed under the bridge.

It's clear your mind is already made up. leave her if you wish. I sincerely hope she finds a man better than you with even lesser stress. Hopefully this is a learning process for her too.
Politics › Re: Buhari - The Man Of Contradictions by Amya(f): 9:02pm On Feb 28, 2015
There's no guarantee that Buhari's government will provide employment, electricity, food, house or whatever. He hasn't bothered much on providing the blueprint on his supposed plan of turning Nigeria around. All what him and his party has been focused on is attacking the current government. I'm not impressed with Buhari or his campaign system honestly.

He says he's incorruptible, but his cronies and party members are known corrupt people. It just doesn't fit.

I'll go with the current system rather than Buhari. You know why? Buhari hasn't for once come out to say convincingly how he'd handle the issues he castigates the current government for. He clearly has contempt and deep rooted resentment for the government of the day. That explains why he hasn't come for once to praise the govt in it successes and criticise when it fail expected of a presidential aspirant. Rather he has chosen to be mute in successes and very very vocal in failure. One other thing I dislike about him is his arrogance and overbearing attitude. It permeates him like cologne. I'd rather stick with a clueless mugu than with him.

Can you make a sound argument without resorting to insults and name calling? Why do you have to sink this low. Do you hate yourself that much.

Oil theft has been a thing from time immemorial. People who bunker oil always have ready-made justifiable reasons for doing so. And the eyes of the government/law enforcement can't be everywhere at once. So, oil theft will always happen except those involved have a change of heart. Blaming the government for oil theft is farfetched. Now about mismanagement, I really don't see where it fits into this context.

I'm not an economist but I think that soludo is talking from both side of the mouth.

When facts were presented that Nigeria can't simply lose what they never had, he started talking about mismanagement and theft. We can only calculate loss through income, not would be income or should have been income.
