ChriGo: .....Seriously dis is an issue to be discussed about....u know say na pako area i dey....if i tell u i went to 8 places before i could get the right specification for my passport u wouldnt believe me....the one that baffled me most was the one that printed my passport without ears...omo as i see am i shouted "blood of jesus shey na me be dis" ...immediately.. i sharpally touched my ears to confirm if dey were still dere.....i was able to take the correct passport in ikoyi for N2000 eight copies...imagine!!....i swear dat one fine gan mehn!!....am sure d VO is seriously tripping for it as we speak....so anabor print out the correct passport specification from www.cic.gc.ca to show the passport photographer how it should look like.....if i go give u passport location and dem go give u passport with no eyes u no go blame me ooo....lol.....and by the way how much did u do the police clearance?....

@Chrigo abeg any idea where I fit snap correct CDHC approved Fine Boy pix for my application?

God bless this forum and it's participants, it's been a big source of information for me ever since I came across it. Only if I had come across it before my first Visa application, I wouldn't have wasted so much money using an agent which resulted to "Visa Denial". I have been so motivated by this forum that I had to go withdraw my application from my agent and about reapplying myself through the online route for January window. I feel so empowered and certain that my next application would yield a positive result, I thank you all and pray that God sees us through IJN..........Amen.

@Chrigo, do u have an idea how much it takes to get a police clearance from Alagbon?

Is it out of place to have three sponsors(Mother, Sister & Husband)? and

ChriGo: Bro i no be oga oo....buh my own advice is that u still use ur mum as the main sponsor and then ur sis/hubby as the co-sponsor....just back it up with a good affidavit of support frm both sides and a sponsorship letter....but most especially a compasionate sponsorship letter from ur mum letter cdhc know how bad she feels about ur denial and then her full willingness to see u florish in ur education.....d VO's too get heart....am sure God will grant u ur TRV dis time.....

Hello my Ogas' in the house...@GboyegaD,@kjbobo,@Fhemmy,@Siga,@dommakavelli and latest inductee @Chrigo. Please I need your candid advice on this issue, is it advisable to use my sister and the husband as joint sponsors since they run a joint account?(NB:my mom initially served as a sponsor for my first application, but I was rejected on the grounds that she had insufficient funds, so I intend to get an additional sponsor for my next bombardment)

Personal Docs
1.Uni admission letter 2.Original Waec result(submitted a photocopy with a scratch card.the card was scratched)3.original school transcripts 4.Original birth certificate
Sponsors Docs
1.Payslips for 4months 2.Bank statement with closing bal of 6.5m 3.Tax clearance 4. Photocopy of his id card 5.Affidavit of support(cdhc did not return this one) 6.A few deeds 7. Valuation of some of his properties 8.A building plan 9. Letter from employer(first letter stated that he works with them,his job position then annual income and the other had a list of all his dependents) 9.Tuition receipt(i paid 70% first, about 2weeks after meds Cdhc asked that I should pay the balance).

Submitted all original copies of my docs, with notarized photocopies.
Visa was issued on the 17th but i got it yesterday.
I hope some finds this list useful. And Gods grace to everyone

Please. ..If you did meds more than two weeks ago...run go embassy. ..your VISA is most likely lying down there!

The sponsor is actually my mother, I only have my birth certificate to show the relationship(which CDHC didn't request for)and my mother is a retiree. I also indicated that I have one sibling. I was also able to confirm from CDHC that the rejection letter was from them. For my next application, I want to include my brother in law who works for CBN as a second sponsor, please what are the necessary docs he needs to provide?

My TRV was turned down on the basis that my sponsor was not CREDIBLE, even with the fact that my sponsor had an account balance of 6million and CoO of two properties. Do you advice I send a mail to CDHC to explain further on what they mean by my sponsor not being "Credible", to enable me know where I went wrong in my application, or should I simply reapply for another TRV for Winter?

Very well said bro, several of my questions had been initially overshadowed by less trivial issues. It could be quite frustrating sometimes, especially when you need a prompt and precise answer.

This forum is a very serious place where major issues are tackled by means of sharing information. What particularly attracted me to this forum besides just wanting to know about canadian visa is the maturity of the house . this is the basic difference between FACEBOOK , TWITTER and this forum.

Imagine after the long schedule of the day, someone opens this forum which he stopped the previous day at page 200 and all of a sudden he sees page 210. Now naturally, this would make him/her excited and make such a person want to go page by page in anticipation of good news, progress report or relevant information. Now imagine the disappointment (and sometimes irritation) to find out that page 200- 210 is 80% jokes and smileys or replies to "hating".......THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE OF RECENT and if am not mistaken ,it discourages people who have serious info to participate because such info or questions get overshadowed by comedy.....

So my broda, i ave just 1 word : MODERATION .

kjbobo: Just got a mail from CDHC. ..that they are yet to get my medicals. ..That it will take 3-4 wks to get to them!
This was in response to the mail I sent to them with respect to the resumption date-AUGUST 26TH.
I guess I still have more premiership games to watch in Nigeria!

Burningflamz: My people,the wait is not easy.To enter Canada is like fixing a thread in a needle hole.All i can say about it is,its God's doing not man made.i was denied a second time with same documents that gave me my medicals this third time.All i did was state more grammar in my sponsors affidavit of sponsor.No property documents submitted.Sponsor is my bro in law with less than 8m in account.Paid half tuition though.
I feel they are issuing visas more this time if only you can pay up tuition and board.For my own, i was given just 2weeks to do this.

Big congrats to you. Please I'm so curious to know what you did differently after your first two denials, did you use a different sponsor from the first two? I was denied yesterday because my sponsor was not credible, that's why I'm curious. Also, was it online or paper application you used for this recent one?

I just got a feedback from my agent, my Visa application was rejected . It was stated on the rejection letter that my sponsor is not credible, that she has insufficient funds. I just need an advice from you guys whether to reapply to the embassy for Winter 2014, or simply forget about the whole process. Your advice and consolation would be highly appreciated. Thank you

I submitted my application through an agent in April, my resumption date is September 4 and I'm yet to get a medical call up. I've asked the agent to give me a tracking number, they said it's against their policy, that they usually do the tracking themselves.

ChriGo: i meant sum folks that submitted april/may have gotten there medical instructions not to talk of sum1 dat submitted january....if u submitted tru an agent,u can request ur vfs tracking number...its ur right.........wen did u submit?? And are you for fall term or winter term

ChriGo: visa process takes within 4-6months...if u were to b on the fall medical hopeful list, u would b no 1 cuz u submitted january....most folks that submitted april/may don get medical instructions...did u apply thru an agent or u applied ursef...if u apply ursef abeg go knock there door 4 embassy...dats wat alot of people here did and it worked for them...sumtimes dis embassy can b funny atimes....e fit b say they need ur attention in there office and instead for them to just send a simple mail regarding that mba!!! They no go do dat...na until u go knock dia door....confused VO's!!!
