BOOMnaija:
WAT IS PLAYING OUT IN ABUJA IS A REFLECTION OF THE REALITY ON GROUND WHICH IS SIMPLY EXPLAINED THUS......

1. ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD DEVOID OF RIGGING AND WITH SENSIBLE, EDUCATED VOTERS, THERE IS NO WAY IN THIS WORLD AND IN THE WORLD BEYOND THAT A BUHARI WOULD DEFEAT EVEN A STONE, TALK MORE OF AN ATIKU. THIS IS CORROBORATED BY THE FACT THAT MOST ONLINE VOTING PROCESSES CONDUCTED BETWEEN THESE TWO HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN FAVOUR OF ATIKU, SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THE ONLINE SPACE IS DOMINATED BY SENSIBLE, EDUCATED ANONYMOUS PEOPLE WHO GENUINELY RENDER THEIR VOTES DEVOID OF ANY FORM OF MANIPULATION WHATSOEVER, WHEREAS, THE REAL VOTING ITSELF IS MAJORLY DOMINATED BY A SIZEABLE NUMBER OF MALAMS, ALMAJIRIS, BRAINWASHED ISLAMIC FANATICS IN THE NORTH, MANIPULATED ELECTORAL AND SECURITY OFFICIALS, MANIPULATED VOTERS E.T.C

2. ABUJA BEING A NORTHERN TERRITORY BUT CONSISTING OF MOSTLY ENLIGHTENED NORTHERNERS, AS OPPOSED TO THE VASTLY UNEDUCATED AND BRAINWASHED ALMAJIRIS AND MALAMS IN THE OTHER NORTHERN STATES HAS BEEN ABLE TO LAY CREDENCE TO MY FIRST POINT ABOVE... WHICH IS THAT THERE IS NO WAY IN THIS WORLD THAT BUHARI WOULD BE ABLE TO DEFEAT ATIKU IF AND ONLY IF A MAJORITY OF THE 'ACTUAL' VOTERS WERE EDUCATED, SENSIBLE AND UNMANIPULATED ELECTORATES.

AND MY SAD BUT TRUE VERDICT IS THAT ME AND U THAT IS READING THIS MAY NEVER LIVE TO SEE THE NIGERIA OF OUR WISH AND DREAMS IN OUR LIFETIMES IF THIS SCENARIO PLAYING OUT CONTINUES EVERY FOUR YEARS OF ELECTION...SAD BUT TRUE.
Stop making noise. Abuja voters were generally our brothers from the SE. The spare parts dealers and building materials marketers and other Easterners who for many reasons would not go to their states of origin to vote. The vast majority of them are PDP voters and Buhari haters. The Buhari voters had left Abuja to their home states to vote and the results speaks for them. Abuja election result is not a reflection of Nigeria.

You’re pained. But the worst you can do is to cast one vote against him. Perhaps you have done that already. Regrettably your vote was of no consequence.

You have a difference in values with PMB. He sees sneakers as functional footwear and sees no reason for having too many of them. Your values ( if you have any) are vanity based. If you were to become the President you will make sure you have a room full of sneakers.

Man should be truthful.
What is "predominantly peaceful"?
Is it until they set the whole nation ablaze that you realise that it wasn't?
People rarely - RARELY - die or suffer attacks during elections in Europe and America.
Africa is just cursed.
Useless continent.
Yes it was predominantly peaceful except for a few people in SE and SS killing their brothers in a futile effort to install a corrupt Fulani man with Dollars as president.

Whichever way the election goes now, I feel ashamed as a southerner. I have tried not to use geographical description in most of my post because I really do not believe a particular bad behavior is localized to a group of people. Behavior to me is personal rather than territorial.

The spate of deaths in the South occasioned by this election tell more of our political behavior and enlightenment in the South. Virtually all deaths recorded so far are from the South that do not have a presidential candidate amongst the two leading candidates. The same Fulani you have been crying wants to colonize you is the one you are killing yourselves for. Who does that? Let somebody tell me is there any Ikwere man or Rivers man contesting presidency? Why then are all the deaths from Rivers. There is no death reported from Sokoto, Adamawa, Katsina, Kano or Maiduguri. Where the leading candidates are from, so who be mugu now. Who needs education now, who are the people giving this country a bad name now? They say Buhari defeated Atiku in Atiku's mother, father, brother, sister and friends place. They say Atiku defeated Buhari in Aso Rock, that Aisha did not vote for Buhari but there were no deaths in all of this. So, why will your party not loose in your polling booth down South. Either which way, a Fulani man will be president and not an Ikwere man. The stupidity of our enlightenment is legendary and cannot be compared. On social media we insult each other. On election day we kill each other. Who we be? If not mugus.

The fact that Buhari could lose in his own enclave is still very unfathomable. Rejected, by his people in the seat of power. I wish this could be replicated in every part of the country.
Meanwhile, the core North are an absolute disgrace.
Saorry you got it wrong. The voters left in Abuja were IPOBs who for many reasons couldn’t go to the east to vote. Nothing surprising. It’s more of a surprise that Atiku lost at the his home polling station where his vote was cast. Those who new him best could not risk voting him as President.

I shall never regret voting a political neanderthal again even if Atiku loses and your Daura caveman decides to take us back to the era of prophet Muhammed, PBUH.

Shame, the mark of a thief on your thumb. Citizens with conscience will not forget the 16 criminal years of PDP where your hero Atiku made the billions of Dollars he is buying you with.
