Sprumbabafather:We didn't see the so called education during his 6 years of clueless ineffectual governance. As for this guest house, He has dozens of much bigger mansions elsewhere in nigeria and abroad. At least he has the common sense to avoid attracting EFCC for some time. |

Buhari bringing back the pride of the nation. Wailers go hug a transformer. |
The full address; Buhari spoke at the Dinner with APC Chieftains: “I am the only politician that ended up three times in the Supreme Court and still virtually refused to give up. “There is one thing that disabused my mind in a dispassionate way about ethnicity and religion across the country. “You know that the tribunal for presidential election started at Court of Appeal. The President was my classmate. I missed only four of the court’s sittings. “For that first phase, 2003, we were in court for 30 months. My legal team leader was Chief Ahamba (SAN), an Igbo man. He asked the panel of judges to direct INEC to produce the voters register to prove to you that the election was done underground. “When they came to write the judgment, they completely omitted that. Another Igbo man, a Roman Catholic, in the panel of judges wrote a minority report. “I went to the Supreme Court. Who was the Chief Justice? An Hausa Fulani, a Muslim from Zaria. After 27 months, Ahamba presented our case for two hours and 45 minutes. The Chief Justice got up and said they were going on break and when they return the following day, they would deliver judgment. “They went away for three months. That was what made it 30 months. “And when they came back, they discussed my case within 45 minutes. “ In 2007, who was the Chief Justice? A Muslim from Niger State. “The third one, who was the Chief Justice? My neighbour from Jigawa State. The same religion and the same tribe. “Finally, the determination of our people and technology: the Permanent Voters Cards made it possible for us to be here. “Voters education is important. Let people be educated that it is their right to choose leaders of their choice.” ”There is something that hit me very hard and I am happy I hit it back at somebody. “Seven states of the North are only represented in my cabinet by junior ministers, ministers of state. “ In Southeast, I got 198,000 votes but I have four substantive ministers and seven junior ministers from there. “You are closer to the people than myself now that I have been locked up here, don’t allow anybody to talk of ethnicity. It is not true. “The PVCs worked well in 2015. That was why when the former President rang me, I went temporarily into a coma. I will never forget the time. It was a quarter after 5pm and he said he called to congratulate me and that he had conceded defeat. He asked if I heard him, and I said yes and I thanked him for his statesmanship. “The truth is after being a deputy governor, a governor, Vice-president and President for six years, and he took that decision is great. He could have caused some problems. He had stayed long enough to cause problems.” “ As I am sitting here, I am very much aware of the problems in this country and I will always reflect on the historical antecedents before I arrived at decisions. “I keep telling people that while I was in uniform, quite reckless and young, I got all the ministers and governors, and put them in Kirikiri. I said they were guilty until they could prove their innocence. I was also detained too. “I decided to drop the uniform and come back. Eventually, I am here. So really, I have gone through it over and over again. This is why I am not in a hurry virtually to do anything. I will sit and reflect and continue with my clear conscience.” “ If I don’t ring you or call you, it is not because I ever forgot how you supported me at one stage or the other over the years from 2003 till now.” Oyegun replied: “I hope it is understood in the proper perspective. “It indicates quite clearly that you have listened to what people are saying. It has been such a terrible misrepresentation. You have seized this opportunity to say that you are not what people are saying. “There are so many misconceptions. Look at the example you have given that those who stood by you through the periods of problems and struggles are not people of the same religious persuasion. “You have said it that you are not an ethnic jingoist. I know this because I have known you for a very long time. “For some of us, when these things are said, we find it painful but I hope there will be proper rendition of what you said today and it will start clearing the air. “The only thing I will add is that you have had a most challenging 2017 in every respect, including your son’s predicament.” “For almost three years, you have laboured to reconstruct the broken foundation of this nation. You have laboured to put a new infrastructure without which development is impossible. “They were just dipping hands in the treasury, the banks were just changing papers and collecting commissions and we all said we were developing and prospering. But it was not a development that touched the ordinary man of this country. “For the first time, that is about to begin. It has taken three years of foundation laying and thank God the harvesting, I believe, is going to begin this year. “It is my hope that it will come early enough for people to see that if one has to call anybody the architect of a modern Nigeria, you will bear that distinction. “Like I said when we were launching the book of your achievements, what you started, you cannot complete. That is a matter of fact. But what you started is basic, fundamental that Nigerians must learn a new way of doing business based on their sweat from which profit will come based on their resources. “When we are used to doing things wrongly, change becomes very difficult and we are passing through that stage now. “It is not a struggle we can complete in four years or even eight years. But you have started something new and that change is not for nothing. It is even deeper than most of us understand. We must carry it on until it becomes second nature to us. “We are firmly, totally and completely behind you and when you make up your mind soon as I hope you will, you will find an army behind you. Those who wish you well are already working and it is my hope that you will agree eventually that continuity is important and critical. Otherwise, all what you have struggled for will come to nothing.” THE NATION 19 01 2018 |
degamemaster:My friend your kith and kin have been shouting to high heavens that Buhari has marginalized the SE with regards to appointment. Why would you want an appointment from “ a failure and a bigot”? You obviously do not accept his policies, so you did not vote for him - fair enough, now how can you be employed to implement what you do not accept as good for the country? Your evil and cursed tribe has been the obstacle of this country, and it is still the biggest problem. |

Is it true that FFK is descendant of slaves. After the abolition of slave t4ade they were brought back from Brazil and distributed along the African coast and they adopted various identities. Is it true? So FFK could be Ashanti, mandinka, t8v, Igbo, or even Fulani biologically. Can some one tell me more pleas3? |
Threebear:Nigerians are brain dead. 99% of these Pastors are con-men getting rich on gullibility. Wake up! |
Laveda:Do you really have to take up this story when you can’t even spell the word CHARTERED? See the two times you attempted to write it, you got the spelling wrong. You can’t even copy chai! |
*October 2011: 23 people were killed in Daraga, Maru LGA of Zamfara state by unknown gunmen. *June 2013: Gunmen killed 48 people in Kizara village, Maru LGA, Zamfara state. *April 2014: Gunmen invaded Unguwar Galadima village in Zamfara state and killed over 200 people. *February 2016: 50 people were killed in Kwanar Dutse village in Maru, Zamfara state by unknown criminals. *November 2016: 36 miners were killed while working in Bindin in Maru, Zamfara by unknown criminals. *November 2017: 23 people were killed in Tungar Kahau and Mallamawa in Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara state by unknown criminals. These are just a few of such killings in Zamfara over the years. Farmers, traders, herdsmen etc around Dansadau forest area of Zamfara lived in fear or fled due to these attacks. Then add Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba etc. Zamfara is part of old Sokoto state that produced retired military officers like Sultan of Sokoto Sa'ad Abubakar, late Bello Khaliel, late Tanko Ayuba, Gen. Ali Gusau, Dauda Komo, late Sule Ahman, Muhammed Bawa, Muhammad Magoro, late Musa Bamaiyi, Ishaya Bamaiyi, Emir of Zuru Sani Sami, Mansur Dan Ali, Emir of Gwandu Ilyasu Bashar, Dangiwa Umar, former Emir of Gwandu Mustafa Jokolo etc. None of these retired officers threatened revenge or called for war. The youths of these states did not blame other tribes or any religion on social media. Nobody called for division of Nigeria. They simply tasked govt to do more to find the criminals and protect all Nigerians. We are all pained, worried and angered by what happened in Benue, Zamfara, Taraba, Rivers etc. But why would youths use the condemnable killings in Benue to resort to ethnic, religious, regional and even political hate campaigns against a section of Nigeria and even call for division of the country? How many of us even bothered to hold prayers for victims of Zamfara, Taraba, Kaduna, Plateau or Rivers? Have we bothered to know if the victims of New Year massacre in Rivers are buried and how their families are doing? But some of us are getting carried away by hate while we have common enemy: criminals! Families continue to flee. Farming (both crops and livestocks) continues to decline. Poverty continues to rise as a result. We must support security agents and govts at all levels to find lasting peace and prosperity. May their souls all rest in peace. May the criminals be made to face justice. May we find lasting peace in Nigeria and rest of the world. |
Fake Bishop and a bloody liar. All these con-men calling themselves men of God are falling on each other competing in telling the most outlandish , outrageous fairy tales and conspiracy theories about the so called Fulani herdsmen killers - the trending invention in the shit hole. The mega looting of government treasury lavished on these fake Pastors has dried up with the defeat of GEJ . We can understand the frenzy and the desperation. They cannot maintain their ill-gotten private jets despite all the tithe they are extorting from the gullible sheepish congregation. |
So Ohanaeze have their own breed of cows? Can they please show us these imaginary herds of cattle ? |
iamJ:At least one person is objective and wants to look at the matter dispassionately and based on facts not emotions and inherent hatred exhibited even by the ignorant. |

Bede2u:oga , “You have not seen a hausa man abroad in the few countries you visited “ and that becomes a problem to you? The real problem is your kinsmen and women going abroad by all means ( legal and illegal) to commit crimes ,engage in prostitution and drug courier trade, and submit themselves to slavery especially in North Africa. Next time you visit those countries, go and visit the prisons and you will see hundreds of your brothers and sisters, and you want the northerners to join you I your evil criminal lifestyle? No way! And remember ; A million handshakes across the Niger will not create any trust. You are wasting your time. The two groups know each other too well. Meanwhile carry on crossing the Mediterranean illegally in those flimsy structures and be drowning. Northerners have refused to join that madness.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul. |
Is this not the scandalous party specialist pastor ? So they still call him Apostle? I believe he has now extended his chain of mistresses. As long as the tithe keeps pouring in more mistresses can be expensively maintained. I hope Stephanie Otobo, Danielle Okeke and Queen Ester are still enjoying the largesse and the orgies financed by the church. |
DearPeople:May the deceased Rest In Peace . Meanwhile no body is absolutely sure that this attack was by Fulani herders but the court of vocal public opinion has decided it was carried out by these invisible Fulani herdsmen trekking slowly with huge number of cattle and yet elusive and invisible to the 4.5 million people of Benue State . There is God ooo ! and one day the truth will come out. |

dammy13:Jose Maurinho Ifeanyi wrote..... I am not a security expert but let's reason along. I am having doubts over the authenticity of these murderers we tag "Fulani Herdsmen ". The average Fulani herdsman is broke, dirty and a nomad. He travels several kilometers cutting across large cities looking pale and sickly. Most times he has only a stick, a small bag, tattered dress on a worn out canvass with his hat bigger than his entire body frame. They are not bigger in number than their cattle. One man can lead over 100 cattles! Then pause and look at the gory pictures we see on the net. The ferocity and vicious style of the attacks. The number of casualties. The spate of the violence with properties amongst the human casualties. Could these disasters be caused by these pale looking Fulani herdsmen nomads I know? How many are they in an area? Do they have residential areas in the victim communities? How could they easily overwhelm a whole community easily without stress, a community having able bodied men, where one attack can spread for others to take cover and be alert? Where do they keep their weapons prior to the attack? Don't you think it could be an alibi to shield and distract us from the real murderers? I think we have not been told the full story !!! A. Aym |
