after God created the wold,the holy spirit and angels were very much active in the earth. but man became so corrupt and sinful that God decided to WITHDRAW his holy spirit from the earth(genesis 6:3)

so when God withdrew his holy spirit, the angels were the only medium between man and God.God was relating to man through his angels. that is what I myself termed angels or angelic ministry.

now after Jesus died on the Cross and set us right with God ,the holy spirit was once again restored to the earth (acts 2:3).when the holy spirit was restored again in the new testament,God again started relating to us through his holy spirit.he speaks to our heart through his holy spirit which was absent in the old testament.this is what I term the ministry of the holy spirit. the people of old have only angels.but we new testament Christians have both holy spirit and angels. we decree a word by the power of the holy spirit that dwells in us and the angels carry it out.

I've been silent over this for several years, spoke of it only to a few people. But it has to be said, that a lot of our churches do not care if you live or die. They are only interested in your Sunday attendance and donations and offerings. The old days of opening doors to strangers have long gone.

I was born into a very catholic family. Growing up, we were made to believe that when you travel to any new location as a catholic, all you have to do is locate any catholic church in the area, introduce yourself to the priest and he would give you any necessary assistance. At worst, show your baptismal card.

So it happened that in 2004 i was invited for a scholarship exam in Lagos. I had never been there, but of course i was not worried. I stayed calm because i knew i would get assistance from churches in the area. I was young, i was naïve, i was innocent.

I travelled from my school in a South Western university to Lagos armed with my invitation letter and school documents. I located the area close to the exam centre, and went looking for churches close by. Without much difficulty i found a catholic church.

I walked into the gate, and approached the parish house. I knocked timidly on the door, and the steward opened up. I explained my situation, and asked to see the priest. Luckily the priest was at home. I heaved a sigh of relief.

The priest came out and i repeated my story, and showed ny documents. Then came the bombshell. He told me the church cannot just open their doors to any strays that walk in from the street. He said maybe i was a robber, waiting for the dead of night to strike.

I was shocked. I then pleaded to be allowed to sleep inside the church building itself, if not the parish house. My pleas fell in deaf ears. For the first time in many years, tears rolled down my face. I stood on those stairs, unable to believe what was happening. With no money on me but my transport within Lagos and back to school, i was well and truly stranded.

I turned my back, and dragged my feet from there in pains. I had no option but to seek out other churches in the area. A short distance away was a protestant church. I walked in with no other choice and presented my story to some men i met inside.

Those men sympathised with me, and offered me a place to stay in the church. I was so relieved. That night i sat and pondered the scenario, how i had been turned away from my own people and welcomed by total strangers. I cried some more.

The next morning they offered me water to freshen up, and i left very early to my exam centre. To the glory of God i passed, and enjoyed that scholarship(an oil company),throughout my university days. But the damage was already done.

In all this, i came to realise some basic facts.
1. Those you would naturally depend on may not always help you.
2. Strangers may be your saving grace in the day of need.
3. The real world is not the utopian place young people are too it is. Bad stuff happen

Today I'm a man of my own, and i have no denomination even though i remain a christian. My relationship with God is a personal one. I urge all clergy to practice what they preach.

I realise that the security situation in our day counts, but if my own could not welcome me but i was hosted by others, it then speaks volumes about the messages we hear.

Honey, I don't understand why you keep saying "Your own, and outsiders". The body of Christ has no name. It's called the "Church", we men put that chasm, not Christ. Pls stop seeing other Christians as outsiders.

I went home and cried and i told them if they truely were angels from the Lord that they should go revenge for me that i wanted her to have accident to prove that they angels sent to me.. To my greatest surprise our class was informed that she had a serious accident that we should pray that it is complicated that it has affected her seriously leading to internal bleeding.. I had to bow my head and i prayed 4 her.. When i went home i cried again that i don't want her to die and i informed mum and she told me that i she knew who i was cos she was told in church while she was pregnant of me and she told me to be careful of what i said. That was 2006. She came bk to sch after 3 weeks till date she doesnt know that it was cos of the lie she said

I got born again in 1993 while in secondary school. I loved God however my relationship with Him was one of the girl who kept on toasting the guy, who wouldn't spare her a glance year after year. (in this case I was the girl and God was the guy)
I was always in church, fellowship or on my way to church/fellowship
After many years without success, I got discouraged and backslid.
Now I'm tired, I'd like to go back to God. After 23 years I've decided even if he doesn't show up I'll just continue on the right path.

My first issue is I've made a habit of some sins and I do them on auto mode.
How do I stop? Please don't tell me to put effort...I have and it didn't work. In fact I'm presently putting effort.

Second issue: whenever I try to pray even for 5 minutes I sleep off. Currently I can't play more than two minutes: I will sleep off regardless of the time of day.

Third what does it mean when all your teeth fall out in your dream. I start crying, and I wake up crying.

When you say, you were born again, do you really know what that means?
You know why I asked? You can't be born again without falling deeply in love with Christ. And,
How do you get born again and yet Christ keeps pursing after you but you kept running away from him?

Let's use this allusion to paint a picture of what being born again could mean or means to me.

Am travelling on a road, I have a destination in view, I am on a wrong road, but do not know it, because so many people are travelling on that road. while on the road, I see people turning back, they care enough to warn me that the road is wrong, and won't get me to my destination, but I won't really pay any attention, I keep going.
As a go, I see stuff on the way seemingly good and bad srudd, there could be danger ahead, but I just keep going. The further I go, the bleaker the road gets. Am full with uncertainty, because all the while, I see people turning with a warning, "there's no road", but becos so many other people are going towards the same way, I think "what nonsense? There's no road yet all these people are headed there?".
Then, I get to a point where, i decided to stop and really reconsider my odds. Could it really mean that indeed this road won't get me to my destination? So which one will?

Dear, the point where i decide to make a reversal is where, a new option comes to my mind.
At this point i'd find out Which other way leads to my destination. What does it take to travel that road?
Will I want to go through that road? Will I indeed get to my destination if I go through it?


Being Born Again, is not attending church and being active in church. It's not being baptized or speaking I Tongues.
It's a conscious realization that you were travelling a wrong road, but now wants to retrieve.

Dearest, every true born again Christian must have a testimony of redemption. That's why when I meet people who say they are born again, I asked them "What is your Testimony of redemption". Many don't even know what that means.
What this means is "Why did you decide to turn back from the road you were travelling?" If you don't have a point of reversal, you are still just in church.

What idea do you have of God? Is he somewhwre else outside of you? You mean to say, all this while you have been in Christ, he has been away from you? Do you not know He lives inside of You?

Now you want to go back whether He is there or not, How do you have a relationship with someone who is not there?

Dear, when you give your life to Christ, I mean, YOU GIVE UP YOUR LIFE AND EVERY THING THAT COMES WITH IT. IT MEANS RESETTING.
Giving your life to Christ, means giving up your Will, Desires, Gratification, expectations, love. It means another person's runs your life, but with your consent.

Most of us youths have the problem of sex. We can't just break free from it. We think we can keep doing what we were doing before, but still have God do as we want.

Now, let's dwell on Sex for a while. It is one of the automated sins which activates itself in us every now and then. Now, let's say you are in a relationship with Sam for instance, you have a phone, he has a phone too. You all have MBs and Airtime. Pls be sincere, how many times in a day will you likely call Sam, or Ping him on WhatsApp or BBM or Facebook?
