Funny you.
Quran 2 19:193
And kill them whereever you find them, and turn them out from where they turn you out. And Al-Fitnah (disbeliever) is worse than killing... And fight them until there is no more fitnah(disbelieve in allah) and worship is for Allah alone.

Quran 8:12
I will Cast terror into their hearts, therefore strike off their heads and strike off their fingertips off them.

Quran 2:244
Then fight in the cause of Allah, and k of that Allah cares and knows all things.

Quran 4:89
But take no friends from their Ranks until they flee in the way of Allah, but if they refuse seize them, and slay them whereever you find them and take no friends and helpers from them.
SHOULD I GO ON?
You don't even know your Koran, so pls go and sit somewhere.

I'm just trying to pass a message across , blame the people committing those crimes and not the entire religion , most of us don't have that mindset .
And where does those committing these crimes get their motivation from? Is it not the Koran?
Let me ask you. So you think when you keep saying, those killing people and burning churches are not muslims the world will believe you muslims?
It's so amazing how you guys reason. A cartoon comes out and Muslims in France calls for the head of Christians everywhere, muslims in Nigeria goes out killing Christians and burning churches, but you claim they are not real muslims. So what does the real muslims do according to Islam?

That is only because Christianity has already been forced down the throats of the world. In most instances, christianity was spread via the slave trade, tortue, genocide etc

The christians in the US took slavery quite seriously and justified this "business" with quotes from the bible. The bible, Jesus and other fictional characters in the bible have been used over centuries to aid the slave be more "submissive" to their slave masters.

I do agree that Christianity has progressed over the centuries. It is now grown from a witch hunting/burning, ownership of slaves, "divine" rulership to a business any well trained motivational businessman can use to exploit it's gullible, irrational, deluded and misinformed followership.

Islam is on a whole other level of "ignorant". They actually believe Allah itself wrote te Quran undecided
And I thought you were an atheist. It's amazing how you run around pitching with Islam, Satanists, and gays agaisnt Christians. Your ish is not with religion, but with Yahweh right?

The heart to heart conversation was in 2008 when they brought an information for me. Then i was awake buh jst lying down in bed in a boarding school around 4am when i saw two men walk into my hostel with the faces of my bunk mate... They carried the faces of my two close bunk mates and classmate. I wanted to shout but my voice was seized den after i tried waking my bunk partner cos i was sleeping down bunk but i was weak then they started telling me things i neva knew of back home and when they were done they left and immediately the rising bell was rung. When visiting day came i asked my parent what they told me and everything word for word had taken place. Let me answer ur question now... This is a different thing from what hv bin experiencing since 2001. Its like your eyes being open ur seeing the world around you and at the same time u are seeing people in another realm at the same time but this people keep looking at you without talk all they do is look and look but if am to pray in which i dont pray often.. I get to see them more and more or am singing a worship song buh they never talk. Hope u'v gotten it? Its like ur eyes being open and ur watching a tv thats not visible to others its only you that can see them.
Try telling them to do something. If you tell them to do something which you know it's against God, and they obey, know they are impersonating the real Angels. But tell them to do something positive and watch what will happen. They are waiting for instructions. You are lucky to be seeing your own angels. We all have our own Angels it's just how to put them to work we don't know.

Not true, catholicism as an organised religion predates the 4th century, the historic writting are there for anyone who cares, by d 2nd century xtian communities have been organised under bishops, priests and deacons, bishop were already excercising their authority and later times hold councils among themselves.

in rome xtianity was pretty organised from about d 1st century, b4 d apostles died bishop were already appointed, presbyter and deacon were under d bishop. the bishop of rome were also settling issues of churches around it.
d church ws organised even b4 it bcame an official religion. and on the topic xtian beads do predat muslim beads.
I have just one question. Was there a Roman Catholic Church before Emperor Nero was enthroned as the Emperor of Rome?

Reading some comments on this thread and you will pity for the institution of marriage in the future to come. Marriage is for mature minds and any one who understands the institution of marriage wouldn't be quick to divorce or cheat...as some girls on here are all screaming " I will divorce him" " I can't stand cheating" yes you can't stand cheating BUT always have in mind that if you most stay married then patience and forgiveness should be your core value.

Some people have seen worse in there marriages and have been able to pull through and are best lovers/friends for IT. For example on BBC life I was so touched by the comment of woman whose husband was a cheat and ended up giving her HIV and they still together and best of friends and lovers..Here is some of the woman's and man comment as I remember..

Woman: I just had to forgive him, I mean he is my husband, I decided to marry him, though it was hard at first but my love for him saw us through and we are better for it, I can't do without him and he can't do without me.

Man: Not a single day passes by without me being so ashamed and sad...I hope I live to get over what I have done...

Now that above is marriage.

If you want to marry and stay married use patience and forgiveness to sew agbada/ eru and buba.

Cheating is wrong but then again in marriage you are dealing with an imperfect person be it a man or a woman.

God Bless your aunty soul.
My dearest, do you think the case in point here would have remained the same if it was the woman who brought the HIV home? I have watched a woman die of the HIV her husband brought home, right now am nursing a friend who could die of this same HIV whose husband brought home too. Now he is acting all calm and loving becos he brought it home.
Okay, just see what happened, he discovered his status before the wife, but kept it quiet he was sneaking behind her back to treat himself, she never knew until her delivery time, it was discovered she had HIV, now she and her baby are dying.
Tell me any man who will stay quiet after a woman gives him HIV?
Am a Christian, but Will separate from any man who doesn't respect God enough to keep his words.
You can't submit to man who is not submitted to God.

Every religion has its flaws bro. However you shouldnt believe everything the media tells you. This is not to say that brainwashing of subjects by the poorly educated religious leaders is impossible.

And i thinkink that is the same mistake most people make. On top of all the advise in the holy books is love, tolerance and honesty. Our people need orientation in those aspects.
Am feeling very uncomfortable having this decision cos I feel am talking to someone who looks at something but calls it another. Islam's problem has nothing to do with how it's been handled in Nigeria. Anywhere Muslims are today and there's still peace there, just know that, they are still minority, anytime they increase they start problem. It's not a Nigerian Problem. Islam is a global menace. But just like every Muslim everywhere in the world, you'd rather call it something else instead of what it is.

Christianity was made a state roman religion late 4th century but Christianity existed in Rome long before then.

Now to put to rest whether Early Christians used prayer beads let me then quote a wikipedia source since saying it myself won't be accepted as a credible source.

" The Desert Fathers of the 3rd to 5th centuries, used pebbles or knotted ropes
to count prayers, typically the Jesus Prayer ("Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God,
have mercy on me, a sinner"wink. The invention is attributed to Anthony the Great
or his associate Pachomius the Great in the 4th century."
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayer_beads
No doubt Christianity was in Rome as early as the first Century. But then it wasn't organized. It wasn't known by any name. Christians then gathered in underground cellers and homes for worship. They were no "Church Fathers" then. Christianity was purely following the handed down letters or epistles handed down by the Prophets and Apostles.
If any Church Father's claims they counted beads before Christianity was lifted from the dungeon to the palace, that "Church Father" lied. And from when did you Johnnydon started taking Wikipedia and it's sources sriously? I hope you know, you can place an article on Wikipedia?
Beads counting or chanting has no roots in Christianity. Not at all.

I find the title and your post really insulting to women. You used the words 'mature and learn'. Do you assume that we are stupid or what? I do not understand what you are trying to achieve?

Did you try asking your aunty if she had any toasters and admirers after marriage? Ask her what stopped her? She is going to tell that she did and it was respect for her husband and their marriage that stopped her. But her husband does not the same respect for her and their marriage yet you will come tomorrow and insult a woman who cheats on her husbandundecided. Some men think that it is their birthright to cheat and he does not need to have respect for women. He goes ahead to do so and the world expects the woman to maturely deal with him. Yet you won't stop calling us petty or gold-diggers or less intelligent beings, How can you expect a specie with all that characteristics to be wiser and more mature than you are?

Why should women be wiser and more matured than man? I thought you were supposed to be the leader and the smarter one undecided. Don't you think that the lack of those qualities make it unfit to be in a relationship not to mention lead a family?

The happy ending your uncle told you about rarely happen. You need to be mature to be able to learn that it is just a case out of many.

Moral of my rant:
Don't dish what you can take.
Respect is reciprocal
Every action has its unforeseen consequences

These apply to males and females. Treat people, most especially your partner the way you want to be treated. If they don't mind you treating them like garbage then good for you.
Thank you.

This is incorrect

Muhammed was born in the 6th century 500s, 570AD to be precise and he never used beads rather counted with his hands beads were later inventions to subtitute muhammed's hand counting practise.

Catholic bead counting prayers began as early as 3rd century, the Rosary in particular is the one you are referring to which began in the 1200s by saint dominic
Jon, Catholic Church as an organised religion started in the 4th Century, not third. So how could they have started counting beads by then.
By third Cenrury Christianity wasnt yet a state religion, and the Christians prior to Catholicism never use beads.

After reading this I can tell you that this reflects the thought of a half baked or ignorant Muslim. I have no regret in choosing Islam. I am proud of my religion.

It has taught me to love myself and others, share with others, pray to God five times a day since that is what I was created to do. I wasn't taught how to hate or kill anyone. Our prophet(saw) wasn't a wicked person. We were not taught to condemn other people's religion. When things happen in our life we pray for God's intervention while keeping in mind that if it be his will then let it be so.

Conduct your research about Isis and other terrorist groups then you can explain to us how they are ql100% Islamic groups
YOUR PROPHET WAS NOT A WICKED PERSON?
All the wickedness of Islam in the world today was initated by who? No one single Muslim in one life time can be as wicked as Muhammed. Anyways, An ex Muslim said something which really make sense. He said Muslims definition of terms is different from the main stream difinition
Peace to Muslim means something different to a None Muslim. Peace to a Muslim, means when everyone person keeps queit and allows a Muslim have his way, that's peace. Goodness is what Koran says it's good. Truth is what Koran says it's truth.
I asked a Muslim if any Muslim, including Muhammed ever saw the original copy of the Bible and was able to compare it with the very corrupt one now? He said no, but that so long as the Koran says the Bible is corrupt they have to believe it. That believing it is like believing in Angels. They are there, you can't see them, but you believe they are there. No one ever saw the original Bible, They can't even tell if all of it or part of it is corrupt. But since Muhammed said, it's corrupt, then it's corrupt. Have you considered that Muhammed can lie? If Allah lies and is a master deceiver, why can't Muhammed lie.
But again, the Muslim mind is funny, They believe the Bible is corrupt, but by all means, they want to fix Muhammed in it. Shouldn't it concern you to see your perfect prophet in a corrupt Bible?
This is the Mind of a Muslim.
