Hello everyone . Please does anyone know the solution for people still having GTB Mrs receipt issues . My parents visa was paid for June last year before the migration. I try to upload the receipt on AVITS, it says receipt not found. I have raised so many tickets, the last ticket is in hold., they claimed to have escalated the ticket.

I have sent a couple of V45 emails to lagos NIV , yet nothing. The last email is sent for V46-mrv issues, lagos niv replied that I should still go back to AVITS. Please anyone to help me, I’ll really appreciate it’s been months on this issue

I am also having this same "Receipt Not Found" issue. Please let me know if you solve it. Support and the NIV emails are not helping. They put my support ticket on hold for over a month now.

Same issue I am having for my parents receipt. I’m tired of creating ticket. My last ticket is on hold, they said they have escalated the issue. It’s progress because before there was no place to input old receipt details.

Not hard.

I applied for a visiting visa alongside my family in December 2022. Got appointment date for January 6, 2023. VISA APPROVED with no document requested. Grace followed me sha. I’m on a student visa in the Uk. Though I’ve finished studying but my BRP is still valid. For another 2months.

Go to the US site. Apply and include a genuine purpose for travelling. Get a date for appointment and get in touch. I might help

Hello everyone. Please has anyone used IQAS for LLB’s degree or any degree evaluation especially for OAU. I am trying to apply but it stated that OAU has conditional status and my degree may not be assessed. I really want to use IQAS . PLEASE HELP ME

I normally don’t engage in back-and-forth conversations like this because it is generally not productive but I will make an exception just once in this case. The post that you incorrectly attribute to @prinxly and that you seem to largely agree with is my post from above which prinxly reposted (which btw, I have no issues with the repost) that is why I am responding

The problem is that you usually start off making absolute statements (which are usually false) and when you are in a jam, you try to wriggle yourself out by creating exceptions. In your response to MizAlero you tell her to “Go and renew your visa in Nigeria because that’s the rules of the visa, go back to the issuing country.” There is no rule like this. A rule is absolute i.e., all violations come with consequences. The renewal applicant can go back to Nigeria if they want but this is not a rule. As many people have stated including welf99, NEULASA etc, you can renew your F1 visa in Canada or Mexico without issues.

No VO will deny your F1 renewal solely because you are a third country national (TCN) in Canada or Mexico just like no VO in Nigeria will approve your F1 renewal solely because you are renewing in Nigeria. VOs know TCNs come for renewals all the time. I renewed once in Ottawa and the person who checked me in affixed a small sticker with the words “TCN” on my passport. I did not have the same TCN sticker experience in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto or Tijuana. VOs know TCNs come all the time for renewals - F1, J1, L1, O1, and H1b renewals all the time. This is not a secret.

Nobody mentioned an F1 renewal is automatic in Canada or Mexico. In my original post, I clearly state that “Although the chances of a renewal are high and the Consular Officers appear nice (definitely way nicer than in Nigeria), this is still an interview so be prepared.”
Visa approvals are never automatic. Even as a naturalized American citizen, I never assume visa applications are automatically approved because of my American passport.

Finally, whatever will cause your F1 renewal to be denied in Canada or Mexico will also cause your renewal application to be denied in Nigeria so I am not sure what your point is. The Consular Consolidated Database that the VO in Canada or Mexico has access to is the same database that the VO in Nigeria can access. I reiterate, No VO will deny your F1 renewal solely because you are a third country national (TCN) in Canada or Mexico just like no VO in Nigeria will approve your F1 renewal solely because you are renewing in Nigeria.

I did. I received a mail that my appointment initially stated to be held in November at the US embassy in Abuja is canceled. Another person reported a similar case.

Does US visa denial affect Canada PR application?.

I am currently in the US and I was thinking of applying as Primary applicant. I got my US visa once but my husband has been denied like three times. Although we have the same qualifications , he is more likely to obtain his reference letter from his office than I am( I had to resign cus I had serious issues with the office).

Now I’m thinking my husband can be the primary applicant while I as dependent also do my ECA and IELTS for extra points.

Will his previous US visa denials affect this PR application process? PLEASE I NEED YOUR KIND ADVICE. Thank you.

It all started here so I figured I send my good news here too.
I’d like to start by thanking God for everything He’s done for me to make this possible cz it wasn’t easy really

I first registered for BCS in January of 2020.
Exams were in March. Results came out in August. Thanks to Covid
I wrote ielts June 25th, 2020. Listening 9 and 7.5 across.
Can’t remember when I started my evaluation with Wes but I had to do it twice. One for my bsc and the other for my BCS after I got my certificate
Wes evaluation was ready in September 2020
Entered the pool same September 2020
Tie breaker affected me once in October and i was soooo heartbroken.

Finally got ITA on 25th November, 2020. It was an unexpected ita cz a lot of people including me didn’t expect a draw that day.
Did medical and pcc on 21st Dec, 2020.
Started trying to gather all my documents. God really came through for me here in ways I couldn’t believe it. My mom really came through for me as well as good friends i met along the way and I can’t thank them enough.
Finally submitted my documents Feb 10th 2021
Got BIL 18th Feb 2021
Did my biometrics 10th March
After biometrics, the long wait started.

Ordered for notes in August. Only security abi info shared was complete.
I continued my life while trying to forget ircc but it was very tough honestly. I felt stagnant a lot of the time. This wait is not for umu aka sha.

Finally exactly one year after I submitted, I got adr.
Adr was for proof of income, proof of funds and remed.
I submitted the other documents on February 21st, 2022
Booked medicals with qlife and they gave me March 4th
Decided to go with it even though the date was quite far because I really liked how organised they were the first time I was there and they didn’t disappoint this second time too
Medical was passed on March 13th

Ircc ignored me again. For some reason this particular wait was harder than the first mostly because every single person I met on this journey and became friends with had gotten PPR lol. I felt dejected and forgotten.

May 19th, 2022 I got another adr. I thought it was ppr at first. Sike!
The adr was for PCC, Schedule A and conformation of nature of company’s business ( this one fear me o I no go lie)
Gathered my documents and sent in on May 24th,2022

Then on June 7th, the beautiful day our Lord made, I checked my mail in the morning as usual and saw a mail from ircc. My heart skipped a bit and I rushed to check my account.
Lo and behold my ppr was sitting pretty.

I can’t thank God enough.
My watch has finally ended.
I return all the glory to Him.

I just remembered I did WES evaluation last year but for a US school. My LLb was evaluated as bachelors degree but my law school was evaluated as a one year professional degree. I just messaged them to see if I can transfer to Canada. I would like to ask can I eventually combine the two as 2 degrees? Or I should just start all over with IQAS?

Please i need help for a friend. She's a lawyer and has been denied visa twice. She is going for her 3rd attempt however a lot has changed. For her first and second interview, she was going for masters in public admin in one school with no funding, now for the 3rd attempt she is going for a law program(llm) in another school, this tiime she got partial scholarship.

The reason she changed her school is the first school does not offer LLM and she did not get any funding. She changed her course because she said her second interview went well but the VO kept asking why a lawyer will go for public administration?

Please when asked what has changed or why the change of school and course, what can she say?

He just got admitted to another school for LLM fall 2022 with funding. To cover the deficit, he has to upload his Mum’s statement of account. The issue now is can he upload the statement he used this year? The statement is from April 2021 to October 2021. Will he also be able to take the same statement to the embassy for his interview next year. Thank you
