Ask me I'll is like CB is saying, "life don tire me: make death come kuku kill me kwame". |
Thanks man! It really worked! |
Too bad Etisalat got itself into such dubious activities. I wanted to know if etisalat will work with my bb so I subscribed for the daily plan. It didn't work. I called their cc they told me I subscribed to voice data plan. Since then they have been deducting 100 Naira from my account. When I complained again to their cc one of them told me that to opt out I must dial *399*2# and I have to pay N100. I got annoyed and throw away the sim and got myself another at the rate of N200. That ends the matter. Throw away the sim and replace it with another sim for N100. |
Hifriends, My BB 8830 use to restart itself/ Reboot itself during Browsing session. I thought the battery may be the cause but after changing the battery, it persisted though not frequently: may be one or two time in a day. Moreso, whenever it restarts itself the GPRS would turn to gprs(small letters) and it will never connect again unles I remove the battery and re-insert it after 5 minutes or more. Is anyone in the house experincing anything like this? What's the solution? |
@Legusgs430, I've done that. All I can see is, PIN : FFFFFFFF ( 8fs that's all). Am new to bb but think that is not the pin. What on earth could've happened to the PIN? |
Guys pls help out here. I bought a fairly used(tokunbo) BB 8830m "World Edition" only to discover the PIN is missing. What I see in PIN portion is this 8Fs. e.g PIN: FFFFFFFFF. The IMEI number is there but the PIN is not. .Pls can someone help out? Thanks |
@Anayordike: Thank you for your info. I have heard from different people and going for these phones seems scary. I need a phone with two sim and at the same time being able to browse, screen touch (u know now, those effizi things). Since u have assured that tecno is ok it means that i will rather go for T8 or T9. But do u think they have GPS? because i always locate places on google map and a tracker on my facebook. My email address: gojiegbe@jhplc.com. Cheers, Georgewaters Ojeigbe @pyramidgeo, Unfortunately for now, I don't seem to have idea of any TECNO phone with GPS. One tthing I like about Tecno is the battery: it lasts longer than any other multiple sims phones. |
@Unphilas and other Tecno users, for now most Tecno phones use Opera 4.2/4.3/4.4/4.5. Secondly, most Tecno phones come with Internet settings for MtN, GLO, ETISALAT AND ZAIN/AIRTEL. So what you need to do is , if you are using double/tripple sims to go to the Java application, open it, scroll down to "Connection Manager. open it and select SIM1/SIM2 JAVA ACCOUNT. Then select the Network/sim which you want to use for browsing. Go back to JAVA, SELECT APPLICATION MANAGER, Open it, scroll to the Opera 4.2/4.3, Press Option select to browse. Am using T12 and skype, Ebuddy and 2go are working perfectly on it. Note if you want to enjoy your Tecno phones, disregard the T-ZONE Application because they hardly work. Enjoy! |
Is it possible to unluck MULTILINKS 1X MODEM in order to use sim on it? Have u done it before? |
Everyone knows how to do this. The main thing is how to browse on pc using your subscription @Dclique, it's not everyone that knows how to browse on BB without subscription. So I'll be glad if you'll be willing to teach me. Infact, I need it urgently. You and other guys can send the info to my email gadewulum@gmail.com |
Pls how can one browse on Blackberry without subcription to a network? A friend of mine is using Curve 8520 or so to bowse without subscribing; though not for free, however they do deduct money from his credit as when one uses any GPRS Phone to browse. |
Pls can you help me to unlock my ZTE A61 Celtel phone so that I can use other SIMS on it? The phone is ZTE A61 IMEI 353008020673261 Thanks |

Since u want to know the crime of of the northerners in SE. Can u also tel us the crime of the Igbos in the north to deserve such brutality and death? |

Please I urgently need Internet manual confguration for Nokia C1-01. Can someone help? Thanks |
@Voltron You have no business doubting. You cant know the power of God by doubting His power. He does His own things in His own times , ways and manners. Nobody is qualified to be His counselor because He knows all things and does all things to the glory of His name. Only believe and pray. He rules in the kingdom of men and gives power to whom ever He wills. He says in the Holy Bible that no wicked person will ever go unpunished.Because somebody did sinful things and he's not punished immediately does not mean he's free. ONLY TIME WILL TELL |
@Mudley313 For the fact the God did not respond to human issues as you expected Him does no imply that He's no longer the Judge of all mankind. He has set a day in which He's going to judge all mankind according to their works whether good or bad. I also assumed you are neither a christian nor a believer in the Creator of all things, including yourself. Let me also tell you that because you do not believe does not in any way change nor invalidated the existence of God. He may not be spiteful as you alleged; the reason is because He's not willing that any person should perish, but that all should come to repentance by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. You erred and not far from blaspheming when you put God Almighty in the same category with Zeus and other gods. You need to have a rethink and probably change your stand about the existence of God. Going by the way speak it's obvious you lack the true knowledge of the one true God. Do not make your conclusion about God until you are able to answer every question as to where you come from and certainly where you are going after here. May God help you. |
”Justice? You high and mighty politicians don’t even know the meaning of the word! Fairness? Which of you has any left? Not one! All your dealings are crooked: you give justice in exchange for bribes. These men are born sinners, lying from their earliest words! They are poisonous as deadly snakes, cobras that close their ears to the most expert charmers. And those evil people are like that as they make their evil plans. O God, break off their fangs. Tear out the teeth of these young lions, Lord. Let them disappear like water into thirsty ground. Make their weapons useless in their hands. Let them be as snails that dissolve into slime; and as those who die at birth, who never see the sun. God will sweep away both old and young. He will destroy them more quickly than a cooking pot can feel the blazing fire of thorns beneath it. The godly shall rejoice in the triumph of right; they shall walk the blood stained-fields of slaughtered, wicked men. Then at last everyone will know that good is rewarded, and there is a God who judges justly here on earth.” (Psalms 58:1-11) This Psalm is an expression of dissatisfaction with perversion of justice and corruption in national leadership. The Psalmist therefore raised an outcry and laid his complain to his God, the Ultimate Judge, for divine intervention. As we read this Psalm again and again we note down the following truths: #1. The indictment against the leaders (vs.1-2) #2. The characteristic nature of corrupt leaders (vs. 3-5) #3. The specific petition to God concerning the Leaders (vs. 6- ![]() #4. The encouragements that are there for us (vs.9-11) This Psalm presents a vivid picture of many of our secular and spiritual leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large. They are corrupt selfish, greedy wicked and ruthless. They never listen to advice and are never moved, either by appeal nor threat. We need to join the Psalmist in sending out our petition to God, the Supreme and Ultimate Judge, for our situations. Therefore, pray that God will render corrupt leaders powerless, remove them from position and prevent people of perverse character from gaining access to power in our nations henceforth. (Adopted from Daily Guide, Tue., Nov., 30, 2010) |
@1025, I have not taken side with anyone as you alleged. the reason I did mentioned Dr. Ekwueme was to site instances of the type of political calumny which Ndi Igbo were noted for in time past. However, you response has not been short of revelation. The way you spoke of him suggests you may know him too well or you may have been crossed with him in one way or the other. But then, I was compelled to ask "where is the place of forgiveness?" Or is it all about "do me, I do you, God no go vex? Two wrongs can never make a right. I am aware you know that very well. Don't you think it's time to bury the hatchet? Remember, Anyi bu ofu!!!!!!!!!! |
Dear friends, I have read with kin interest most of your replies to the topic posted by me and I want to sincerely thank you all for your wonderful reactions to the issue raised. I am also overwhelmed with the sorts of sentiments most of you attached to the matter, which I think is normal considering the fact that the topic has to do with the most hated ethnic group (A gburusia ngele, e kuru ngele nua of Nigeria) –Ndi Igbo. First, I want to once again make it clear that Ndi Igbo has rights as a people to live, work, speak and do any legitimate thing in Nigeria as citizens irrespective of whatever anyone may think or have against them: not only in Nigeria, but the whole world in general. This is what motivated me to drop the above topic. I believe I have unquestionable right to talk to my people without fear of molestation and intimidation from any one. Be that as it may be, you will agree with me that there’s no ethnic group in Nigeria without their peculiar flaws, mistakes, wrongs, difficulties, challenges, etc and Ndi Igbo is not exception. We all have been living in this country over these years and we know what the Hausas, Yorubas, Igbos, Ibibios, Kanuris, etc can do and what they have been doing both negatively and positively. Sentiments apart, we know everyone’s contributions to the development of this country. The Igbos are lovers of humanity: they love their fellow country men and women. But what do they get in return? Hatred! Hatred! and hatred. Instead of reciprocating this love, you hate us without regret. Ndi Igbo wee si, na onye ajuru aju anaghi aju onwe ya. (Meaning “I will never reject myself even if you do”). And without mincing words Ndi Igbo has contributed immensely to development of this country more than any other people. May be the only odd against Ndi Igbo is the civil war/Biafra issue. But as I said before, it takes two to tangle. Is it not two fighting? Why blame only the Igbo nation for the mistake of all Nigerians? The Nigeria nation should have known that two wrongs cannot make right. May be you do not know that the blood of all the innocent people who lost their lives before and during the civil war is crying against this country till today.( Honestly, but I tell you , I don’t wish to be talking about all these if not for some who don’t know what is right and wrong). Secondly, I had Ndi Igbo on my mind when writing this topic and not any anyone else. Some of you have no business saying the ugly things you have been saying about a people created by the Almighty God. Remember you shall be judged by the things you have said and done. I know how Ndi Igbo reason and react to issues like this: they would first try to ruminated and brood over the issue on hand before sayings or doing anything. And I am convinced they know what I am talking about. Furthermore, the fact that one writes or say something good about Ndi Igbo does not in any way suggest that one is selfish, knowing nothing except Biafra. I don’t think you are more patriotic than me to this country. The fact that someone is not an Igbo fellow in this country does not mean he/she is a patriotic Nigerian. I am saying this because some of you left the issue on ground and were hitting below the belt. (I thought one of the rules in Nairaland is that there should not be abusive words/languages?) “Yoruba ro nu” is a slogan the Yoruba use to call themselves to order and others have their peculiar way of calling themselves to order too. And that is exactly what Re-branding the Igbo Nation all is about. And for the fact that our corrupt leaders have tried to re-brand Nigeria without success does not apply to the Re-branding of Igbo Nation. By the grace of Chukwu, Onye Okike kere Ndi Igbo, we shall succeed. Even if we do not succeed we have nothing to loose: rather we shall congratulate ourselves that we made an attempt. Finally, please let your criticisms be logical with Godly flow of thought. Put away childishness and sentiments if you are truly a friend of Ndi Igbo and if you are not, why not mind your business and leave us alone. Remember, today it’s Ndi Igbo, tomorrow it may be you. God bless you all. |
Thanks for your comment. The story of my life is indeed a very long one made for another day. But it may not be different from what the Igbo child went through during and after the civil war. |
Ndi Igbo like other ethnic society in the entity call Nigeria is major stakeholder in the socio-political and economic life and history of Nigeria. They are one of the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria today and will so remain. They are found everywhere in Nigeria and the world in general. They are a very gifted and highly endowed with wisdom, power, might, and die-hard spirit. This is why in spite of all the evils that befell them during the Nigerian civil war, they still a force to reckon with in every sphere of human endeavours: by which even their enemies were force to be their friends either for good or otherwise. It is no gainsaying that Ndi Igbo have whatever it will take any nation to succeed among the comity of nations. In business they do it in grand styles that others think it is their blood. It’s not that business runs in their vein, but it was just a matter of survival after the civil war. Many of them were left with nothing to start life. Buying and selling seem to be the only option of survival. And to the glory of God they not only survived but succeeded and excelled and became the object of jealous to other ethnics. Though, Ndi Igbo have done well in business, academics and other related areas of life: but that cannot be said of politics. When it comes to politics in Nigeria, it’s a sorry story. It’s like they lacked what it takes to push their way through to the top. It has always been politics of calumny. They seem to lack coordination and the right attitude to launch themselves to the electorates whenever it matters most: and they often result to thugery, money bag and god-fatherism kinds of politics. It’s like they take pleasure in attacking and defeating themselves before the very eyes of their political opponents. Do you remember what Chief Jim Nwobodo did to Chief Alex Ekwueme and all the Ndi Igbo at the Eagle’s square in 1999? It was at the PDP Convention where he decided to play the spoiler, instead of supporting his kinsman. He also became Hausa man instantly by choosing to speak Hausa language rather than Igbo language which is his mother’s tongue. Worst of all he never show any sign or remorse or even offer common apology to the Igbo Nation for such bastardly attitude. This is just one out of too many sabotages, distrusts and selfishness which many of the South-East politicians are noted for. However, it’s not yet too late to make amendment. As the Minister of information and Communication, Prof. Dora Akunyili (an Igbo woman of great repute) is championing the Re-branding of Nigeria, so I think the Igbo nation must not fail to re-brand herself, if Ndi Igbo still want to remain as a people to be reckoned with in the present and future Nigeria state. Eme ngwa, emeghara odachie (a stitch in time saves nine). As a matter of fact and urgency, there is no need beging the issue. Re-branding of Ndi Igbo in every spheres of our socio-economic life is a sin qua non in a time as this. So let Ndi Igbo begin to apply their minds to this. The earlier we do so, the better. Let me quickly itemize few areas of our socio-economic life that are demanding urgent redress. 1. Our thought pattern needs to be seriously corrected. It’s like we have been programmed to think in a certain direction. That is money direction. We intend to do everything and anything for the sake of money. An Igbo adages says, “na kam ngbe I ga agwu ego ole jiri puta, ka deme jiri wee laa. We need to go back to the good old days of our forefathers. I remember, in those days in Igboland, if a man wants to build a house his kins men and women will rally round him to build the house with him free of charge. They were truly their brothers’ keepers. They do almost every thing in common. They were true democrats and the only true democrats who believe so much in human equality, respect and dignity even before the colonial era. Then the Igbo phrase,” Onye aghala nwanne ya” was more than real because you can truly see and experience it in every family and community. Today’s present Ndi Igbo are seriously lacking all these because of Ego oyibo. Let us think and talk less of ego and consider the things that can help us to be genuine lovers of our kins men and women. When we do this, assuredly we shall be the world leaders we are destined by God Almighty to be. 2. There is great need to educate our people. The level of education in the South East is nothing to write home about compare to other ethnic groups in the country. The Nigeria state supposes to ward free education to them after the Nigerian/Biafran war but failed to do so and that affected lots of children in that region. In 1977, as a primary school drop out I was hawking Igbo made shoes when ignorantly we walk in Armed Forces Resettlement, at Oshodi. The soldiers called us to come and sale goods to them. Unknown to us that, hacking is not allowed in there. They began to take advantage of us. Their oga collected some pairs of shoes from us without paying. Threaten to lock us up in their cell. They called us all sorts of names. Yamiri this, yamiri Ojukwu that. We were intimidated harassed and punished for the war we know nothing about: simply because we are Igbo chaps. Painfully the leaders from the South East seem not to care much about the education of the Igbo child. There should be free education in all the States of the South East. It’s not enough to talk of the youth being the tomorrow leaders. Let the tomorrow begin now. Ndi Igbo sin na nwa aga eji ogu nkpuru akwa abua wee juru aja, aga eburu uzo nye ya abua na aka abua ka owee doo ya anya. This is just one of the major ways to re-brand the Igbo nation. The Igbo child has suffered more than enough in Nigeria and should not be allowed to continue simply because of a civil war that was fought by two opposing sides. Furthermore, it is as a result of lack of free education (unlike in the West) that you see many small boys being given out by their poor parents to rich/poor businessmen/traders to train them in the art of buying and selling even when they are not ordained or destined by God for such. Many of Igbo youths’ lives have been destroyed through this medium and many are still following that same path now. This also calls for sober reflection. We all must not be traders. Variety they is the spice of life. 3. I think there is need for us to look at what we have been calling our culture. The so called red-cap chiefs or the Nze and ozo title-holders seem to be arrogating unnecessary powers to themselves in every community in Igboland. And this ought not to be so. An nze is a so called sanctified man to the gods of his ancestors. In other words, he is a heathen to a Christian man/woman. Therefore should not try to use his chieftaincy title or whatever to intimidate anybody. More so, many of them are not worthy to be called nze/ozo man. As many of them have at one time or the other been involved into one aru or the other. They have failed their communities on many uncountable occasions. Their big appellations have been helping matters. They force people to call them names like Ochiriozua,Ide,Osu-offia, Akukaria,Nwakaibie, Odinanwata, Eze-ego etc. The truth is that some of them are trying to cover up their emptiness with such titles. 4. Our village/Town hall meetings also need to be revisited. So many evil things are been done their without checks. Many of our meetings are nothing more than a war theatre. You come happily but go home a sad man. It’s unfair that some bad belle people use such gathering to get even with their perceived enemies. Worse still, some have thrown cautions, courtesies, respect for elders and one another to the wind in the name of civilization and worship of materialism. As if everything is money. A si onye kpata ego ya a mazi la onye toro mmadu? Ndi Igbo should as a matter of urgency learn how to respect other people’s views and opinions. The reason why there is lots of fighting among Ndi Igbo is simply because we hate to give ear to other people’s views and opinions. We believe we know better and more important than others even within ourselves. On this and many other things, we need to be re-branded before we can begin to think of our future place in the Nigerian state as stakeholders. Other ethnic groups in this nation seem more organized than we claim to be. 5. And for Ndi Igbo to be truly a one strong and united people, we must learn to The Igbo politicians should understand that politics and governance is all about service to the people. What we need in Igbo land is good road networks, electricity, hospitals, and good schools for our children and clean water. If they can commit themselves to providing these amenities people will no longer abandon their communities/state to live and work in another man’s states/cities. I use to have one retired police officer as landlord. Each time he’s drunk, he will start insulting the Igbos who live in his house that their fathers have no house in their village that is why they are living in his house. Can you imagine that? Julius Nwa Ewuim zara afa si na nwa nogwe mba, o laa na bee ha. Ya mere Igbo lota nu ka anyi dozie Ala Igbo. Mmiri doro n’eju, doro nwa nkita. Onye mara asu , o sua n’ikwe, ma onye amaghi asu, o sua n’ala. 6. Pertinently, I want to say that Ndi Igbo have not been fair to their language. The Igbo language is suffering and is about to die as a result of Constant and premeditated attempts by both the owners of the language and the enemies of it. It’s like the majority of the Igbos don’t want to hear/speak nor have anything to do with Igbo language. Especially the elite class: I mean the so called educated ones, Majority of them see Igbo language as a local one and anyone who speaks or studied it in school as never do well. This is so bad. O jogburu udele maa sigbu nkakwu na isi. People of every nations/country are very proud of their own language and culture. But reverse seems the case among Ndi Igbo. Some years ago a popular high life musician recorded an album appealing to the Igbo nation not to allow their language to die or abused. He called the title “Ingligbo”. “Onye asu zi na Ingligbo” That is the mixture of English and Igbo languages together. Almost every Igbo person is guilty of this, both educated and illiterates alike. This must be stopped. We should not allow foreign languages to destroy our God given language. We did not asked to be born Igbo. It pleases God, who does everything in His wisdom to bestow us with this wonderful Igbo language. So we must appreciate it as God’s gift to us. We should encourage people to speak Igbo just like the Hausas and Yorubas are doing. No matter how educated and sophisticated a Yoruba person may be, whenever he’s with his people would address them with Yoruba language. So it is with the Hausas. As a result of their love for their languages, both languages are now being aired all over the world. But the Igbos, what do you have? Every now and then we keep on talking of political marginalization when we have left undone things that ought to be done. And we are pursuing shadows and at the same time deceiving ourselves. We need to come to our senses in order to re-brand ourselves. Many things are wrong with us as a people. We are great and powerful people but we not organized to recognize these potentials. That is why our leaders should show good examples in all things they do. The rich people among Ndi Igbo should stop send wrong signals to the masses. It’s the wrong display of their riches/wealth that created most of the societal vices among Igbo youths of today. Finally, we must come together to seek our common good. We have seen enough of all these in- fightings among Ndi Igbo. People from the East are noted for their wisdom and power. We are from the East. Let us begin to display these to the benefits of all Ndi Igbo. We must have one common goal: that is, whatever any Igbo person is doing let him/her do it for the sake of the Igbo Nation. If you are sent to Abuja, please represent Ndi Igbo well there and do not fail to bring home our share of the national cake. Remember it’s not your personal property. If you are a governor, minister, commissioner or whatever, bring development to Ndi Igbo. Ndi Igbo wee sii na atuko utu wee you mmamiri, ya agba ufufu. Gidigidi bu ugwu eze. Ofu obi ka umu nne ji ebi. Igbo mma mma nu. Ekele m unu!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
My email is gadewulum@gmail.com Thanks |
Truly I am in support of OHANAEZE NDI IGBO. For your information, Mr President is a son-law to the Igbos. For the sake of our Ada we should support him by giving him the benefits of doubt. The Igbos have always been their brothers keepers from the SS, though this love has always been misinterpreted by our brothers from the SS, but that is not to say that everybody from there is the same. Something in me is telling me that GEJA is a man of integrity. He will not disappoint the IGBO nation nor Nigeria as a whole. So ndi be anyi, let us not mind "Ndi ochi akpa eli ozu." Of course some would want to use this issue to make cheap popularity for themsevles. But yhe truth is thst "anyi ma ndi bu ndi ma oge ruo" Kpom kwem. ![]() |
