I was disenfranchised by political thugs at PU 05 of ward 4 Eleme, when a ballot box was snatched and taken away. And we lamented when the president ordered shooting of ballot box snatchers. I think the president has been vindicated. |
My Compaq 615 is giving me problems. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes, before it starts, I had to keep pressing the start button repeatedly for a long time, but sometimes, it starts with one push. If it behaved well, I used it for like two days before it starts misbehaving. Again, once it starts, the fan makes so much noise, before gradually stabilizing. At times, the fan starts making a lot of noise and the system would shutdown thereafter. At times, for days or weeks it won't start, no matter the number of times I pressed the start button. And after those days or weeks, one push and it is back to life again. Please help me. I still want to use my Compaq 615. |
Army Children School Mokola, Ibadan, 1989. I won't forget Sergeant Shittu and Mr. No Yansh the parade master. |
Pidgin2:True talk, Rivers people did not vote him, but Ogoni people did. Just as we did in Eleme LGA in 2015 presidential and governorship elections under Jonathan. Even when the other LGAs gave it to PDP, Eleme and Opobo voted APC. |
unite4real:My brother, I don't really understand. The court judgment is clear yet some people are just adamant or pretending to be. Anyone that reads that court judgment and interprets it to mean that election should be conducted in the whole of Tai LGA should just be ashamed of his or her education. Some people need to start from Kindergarten. |
kvngblack0z:Which court order? There is no where in that court judgment that says INEC should conduct elections in the whole of Tai LGA. Please, read, and, reread it again. |
I live in Port Harcourt and I am telling anyone who cares to listen that election here is do or die. It's a total war. The 20, 000 police officers are inadequate, because in my own opinion, each polling unit needs at least 10 police officers. If FG had not deployed security personnel, then, by noon tomorrow, nobody will be left in Rivers state. We would have killed ourselves. Politics here is not for the weak or innocent. It is for the valiant. What a pity. |
BlueRayDick:One major problem in Nigeria is ignorance and gross inadequate knowledge of our country. So in your imagination, Kano does not have any business. I will only pardon you, if you are less than 16 years old, but if you are more, then, try and do some research about Kano. In terms of business and industry, only Lagos and recently Ogun state top Kano in Nigeria. As for Rivers state where I have lived for more than ten years, I can authoritatively tell you that the state does not come close to Kano in terms of numbers of businesses, factories, and companies. The only economic activity in Rivers state is oil and gas with only Shell among the multinational having its headquarters in Port Harcourt. Mobil, Chevron, Agip, and Total have their headquarters in Lagos. Others are the oil and gas servicing companies not more than 50, most, their headquarters still in Lagos, cluster mainly in Trans Amadi Industrial Area. So my brother, even in your imagination, never assume or think that Rivers state has more businesses or even infrastructure than Kano. We have only three cities in Nigeria. They are: Lagos, Abuja, and Kano. Others are just mega towns including Port Harcourt which is still far less developed than Kaduna. Ask people you know who have been to Kano about the city and you will be awe-inspired about your findings. |
Don't you ever in your life stress over any politician, they are selfish and only after their own interest. These people have bleeded the country dry, having billions of naira in their accounts due to the weak institutions we have that are not accountable. I may be a fan of Tinubu, but I am begining to dislike his styly of politics, the guy is too power drunk and thirsty. He is an imperialist who wants to install governors in every state. He has hijacked Lagos state and the state is in his pocket with twice installing governors. The VP his is boy and he has unswerving respect from the C-in-C. His preferred canditate recently lost a governorship primary and he was pained, to the extent that nobody is sure of his next political move. He has always been having his ways because of our "rigged systems", if I can borrow the words of Donald Trump. I love and respect you, Tinubu, especially your political savvy and acumen, but take it easy before you self destruct. To those who think Tinubu has been dumped by the rulling party, you are wrong, he is a political Oliver the Twist, and will always be Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu no matter which political party he finds himself. Tinubu may be fighting for his own interest, but not yours. |
PCL initial information was that sms would be sent in batches to successful candidates between 18 to 21 but the sms were sent only on the first day. What happens to the remaining days the sms supposed to have been sent? Is PCL through with the sending of sms? For us that are yet to receive the sms message, can we still be hopeful? |
The contract for the security of our water ways was awarded by the federal government through NIMASA to Global West, a company owned by Tompolo who is a former militant and an Ijaw man. The DG of NIMASA Ziakede Patrick Akpobolokemi is also an Ijaw man. It is only during Jonathan's government that security of water ways was awarded to a private company - is even preposterous that the theft of crude oil along these water ways has tremendously increased more than when it was being controlled by the Nigerian Navy. Nigerians shine your eyes, there must be a deal involving, NIMASA, Tompolo, and the president. |
In 1995, I watched an american movie in KSTV Kaduna titled: Home of Spirt; the movie was the best movie I've ever watched in my life. After some years, I tried getting the movie in VCD or DVD without success. The star actor in that movie featured a man( I can't remember is name) with mustach who died some years ago. Is anyone familiar with the movie and is there any possibility of getting it? |
Is a lie, it does not afffect the brain nagatively, rather it makes it work optimally. During my high school days, I used to take at least 2 liters of palm wine before sitting for my terminal exams, and I always come out top of my class. |

By February 2012 I would have been married, but my fiancee dumped me and marry a pastor on the the 3rd of September. I love her so much and she loved me too. We courted for more than five years, I don't know how to establish another relationship again. I just feel I will never find any girl that will love me the way she does. I am heart break and in shock. |
I am a darked skin guy and will need suggestions on the creams that will suite my body complexion. Seven years ago, I used a cream called Skin Balance Complexion Lotion and it was very good for me; infact the best cream I ever used, but right now, it is not in the market. |
the waste their is just unimaginable, if we get it right in Ajaokuta, then the income that would be generated there will be far more than the income from the oil and gas industry, besides, the complex has the capacity to accomodate all the engineers this country has ever produced. I was there as a banker with one of the old generation banks. |
In 1995 in KSTV Kaduna, I watched a film title "Home of Spirit". For a long time I have been reminiescing to watch it again because it is one of the best film I've ever watched. Can someone help me on how to get the film. emmy.michael@yahoo.com. |
I will be the most happiest person on earth if you send me the maggi e-book. Please, send it to emmy.michael@yahoo.com. Remain blessed. |

The highly dependable doctor, I'll need your assistance urgently. Fourteen yrs of battling with malaria parasite no remedy, I've taken all kinds of malaria drugs but no relieve; body weakness and pains is my daily living, anytime I went to the hospital, MP is always diagnose, treatment will be done is just like drinking water. Can you give me the final solution to my problem. Thanks in anticipation. |
Thanks very much dr 1 and beneli for your suggestions. I will do as you suggested and will be given you feed backs on my progress. I sleep in mosquito net and the point I was trying to make is that any time I felt sick I visit the hospital and was always diagnosed and treated for malaria, after one or two weeks again, I will become sick again and go to the hospital and again be diagnosed and treated for malaria and this happen again and again. I just finished taking artesunate drug and for now I am better. |
To all doctors in the house: Since 1994 I have been suffering from malaria parasite; for 16yrs now, it has been my greatest problem and it is really killing. Anytime I go to the hospital, malaria parasite is always diagnosed and malaria drugs always prescribed but after taking those drugs my condition still remain the same, I still feel sick with malaria; body pain, muscle ache, body weakness etc. My concern is, why are those drugs not working for me, why should I be treated and barely a week later still be diagnosed with MP. I have taken all sorts of drugs prescribed by doctors but to no avail. The sickness from this malaria parasite is affecting my productivity at work, my studies, my everything. Please, doctors try and help me, save life. |

Mr. German, I've read through your post and I must confess I like what I saw and will like to make a pre-order deal with you in future but am also afraid of losing my money. I don't know you, I've never seen you; how can you convince me that you are honest and genuine and that I can trust you. |
What categories are they recruiting? Is it fresh graduates or experienced hands or both. |
