Everything he said about the c8 is true but not sure about the n3. anyone who says he doesn't experience the multitasking issue is either just lying or suffering and smiling. the ram management on c8 is terrible. when u minimize apps, u cant come back to find it where u left it, u have to start afresh. common!!! who has all day for that. Even to work on office apps on d fone is something else, not to talk of gaming. I had to swap mine with my kid sis bb q10 till I can save up to get Samsung note 4.

I just wish the fone was rootable, that would have given one the chance even work on it

If you have issues with your whatsapp msgs or FB msgs not coming on time on the c8

Go to settings
And locate self-starting management
And disable it

Step 2

Go to settings
Locate security
Then locate auto-start management
And tick on the apps of your choice you want

I actually use psiphon with mtn bis and it works perfectly well and powers all apps. Even use with my computer too

no my phone ain't rooted yet. Just a little tweaking on Nova prime launcher(i recommend this for anyone) and I changed my font size and theme. Still waiting for this baby to have root access.

This issue had been solved in previous post. U need Mtk engineering to solve this. It's a peculiar issue on mtk lollipop OS device I've used. A quick guide to solving it.
*download mtk engineering mode
*click on mtk setting
*locate network selecting
*and then put in on WCDMA

That's all. But note ur fone will always be on 3g, so if u get to an area with no 3g network signal then ur fone won't have service. To reverve it follow d above step.

The phone has notification light go to your setting and look for the place were u can set it... and ur a fool cuz tecno and infinix na d same thing the only advantage hot 2 has over c8 is the 2 gb ran

Point of correction:
Tecno Camon c8 has OTG support, make sure you use good OTG cable and your flashdisk is ok. It'll pop up the External drive once connected

dont mind them ... some of them dont just test this things, theey just come out and start showing there ignorance to d world. OTG works perfectly with mine, even use it with my dstv drifta

When you are say play store downloading an app the instant you leave the page to another app the page stops loading. THE PHONE IS CONSTANTLY CRASHING MINE HAS CRASHED LIKE three times today

u sabi talk,... thank Goodness u are a lady. the fone is worth the price. what u need is 2g or 3gb ram fone, so pls consider that in ur next fone. Manufaurers releases spec of product so that u can have a choice before u pay for it, that's y there is mid range and high spec fones. u don't expect a high spec fone to cost 26k. u should have waited for the phatom with 3gb ram. better soup na money kill am

The only other major complaint is that multitasking is difficult with the phone. If i am on an app and I go to another app the first one stops loading. Just imagine?

i had this same problem, but like someone said lolipop aint that good in ram management, and i also noticed the tecno laucher actually sucks lots of ram, so try other launchers but i wud suggest u try nova launcher.

ever since i strted using nova launcher, the problem seized. i hope that helps and always try clear your cache from time to time.

The apps are up to date and I have tried rebooting the phone. Someone said it is because it uses 1GB RAM.
My opinion :They should not sacrifice private profit on the altar of thier consumers satisfaction. wen Infinix hotnote2 with 2GB RAM 19,500. Y should they make a phone of 25,800 with IGB RAm (which basically means u can't enjoy the phone) and make Nigerians believe it is virtually a dash.

my dear just go to the infinix hot 2 thread and see lots of complains. dont just look at mere specs

I think this is a design that is common to some phones running Android lollipop and not Tecno Camon c8 alone. Anyway there is a solution to the problem.
Dial *#*#4636#*#* using your phone dialer, it'll take you to a page where you have the internal configuration of the phone.
Click on Phone Information, take you to another page, scroll down and click on the drop down menu arrow then select WCDMA only from the list. Just exit by going back. That's it...your phone stays on 3G only.
NB: When you're in an area that has no 3G network your phone may not see any signal cos it cannot switch to EDGE network by itself.
