Politics › Re: Buhari Left Flourishing Nigeria Behind – Ex-Minister Sirika Claims by AndroBlaze: 11:30pm On Jul 13 |
grandstar:
The British did not build a single public school. All schools were either the work of missionaries or the communities. Barely 5% of the country's population was literate at Independence.
The British came to profit from their colonies and not to build them. Thats why the amalgamation was done. The South was solvent while the North was not. A merger ended the losses. It made economic sense but not social nor cultural. They score 20% at best. In this age where google is a touch away, outlandish and ridiculous claims like the one in bold are not needed to make a solid point.
There is no doubt that the British used us and got the best out of the relationship with us..... however this does not change the fact that in general, the peoples that make Nigeria, saw development, better health and security while the British ruled us. For example:
Jihadist existed before and during the British. They tamed them.
Yorubas were in a 100 year war between ourselves before and during the British, we eventually got tired and got tamed.
The "Igbo" identity and end of their smalltime republican behaviour was achieved during the British reign. In 1960, Nigeria's GDP alone was already 10% of Africa's GDP. A typical Nigerian's per capita income then made them as rich or richer than the average South Korean and Chinese.
Also then we did not have such an uneven society with people as strikingly and routinely wealthy as Dangote or our thieving politicians.
So please, take it easy with the Negritude propaganda, when most of you won't even bother to spend time with your grandparents asking their opinion or just a minute or two on google to verify easily debunkable claims.

I don't know what people expect an Ex-minister that was caught stealing to say!!
Definitely life was easier during Buhari's time, but only an extremely dishonest fellow will not accept that from insecurity to a loop sided economy, all these seeds were planted during Buhari and his predecessors time....and yes Tinubu is planting his own seeds that his successor will also suffer from.
As far as I can see, the last people to hand down a better Nigeria than what they initially met, was in 1960, when the British unfortunately handed it back to us!! |

The Kwara kidnap and massacre happened long before the Oyo one, they are still in captivity while the government appears to have moved on. Show me evidence that you are concerned about their plight. Oga, I am not a member of the government, as you well know, I am an ORDINARY Nigerian and I am saying to you that I do not understand why any SERIOUS or UNSERIOUS politician should be UNHAPPY and QUESTIONING the safe return of those children AFTER 2 MONTHS in captivity!!!

Nigerians are simply asking him to do his primary responsibility of securing lives. There are still women and children under captivity by bandits in several other states as we speak. If anything, the opposition have been mild on Tinubu. Even till now, you find it hard, as human being created by God, to condemn wishing us EVIL so you can take over.

If this same BS, wey NPF do the boy, happen to you too in the future, you still have a right not to be detained beyond the time limit specified in the document EXCEPT WHERE ORDERED BY A JUDGE e.g. like your example: if you kpai somebody and dey catch you red-handed. I am responding to you civilly because you at least took your time to look for where these things are stated, unlike some who will just parrot whatever they hear to support nonsense.
Here is a link from premium times reporting properly on the matter.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/entertainment/naija-fashion/893649-court-grants-peller-bail-in-case-involving-lagos-state-police.html
He was arrested on Thursday, at 10pm and arraigned on Monday. I am not surprised that they couldn't arraign him on Friday, as just like every other government institution, Friday is half day for the courts.
Reading the article, the only thing the police did wrong, was charging him for filming them, and though they quoted Lagos laws, it is established in almost every sane country that one has the right to record interactions with the police, at least when you can prove it was for your own safety. Now all of this could have been avoided, if a Peller who claims to be stinkingly rich (shey na wetin he use abuse Ycee), who is not paying school fees for his children, did the right thing from the onset, and either registered the car before taking it or got a vehicle to carry it for him to his house.
In this current situation of kidnappers and insecurity we have within this country can we not use our common sense to see that not having or covering a license plate and tinted cars is more than enough probable reason for a police officer to ask you tough questions, which you should be willing to answer respectfully?
Does the Olodo General need a degree to be able to tell him that? |
Crime › Re: The Documented Scams Of Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew. by AndroBlaze: 12:11pm On Jul 10 |
Image123: 2017 — THE OGBOMOSO STADIUM AND THE $600
While the international WYO fraud was running, he was simultaneously running a local version at home. He sold forms to Ogbomoso youth, presenting himself as World Youth Leader. He collected money from his own community. His own people. In a stadium.
He promoted the World Economic Youth Summit 2017 through a self-created Facebook page. The summit website was wyesummit.org. It was designed by a company called Webline at No 2 Ogunyase Street, UI, Ibadan. Registration was $600 per person. Real people paid real money into his accounts.
The Ogbomoso community eventually confronted him publicly. He was disgraced in front of his own town.
No prosecution. No consequences. He was 29 years old and had already defrauded two categories of victims: his university and his home community.
2018 — THE AWARDS HE GAVE HIMSELF
A tribute piece published in October 2025, days before his arrest, listed the following in his official biography:
Grand Commander of World Youth United Nations Organisation, 2016. United Nations Award of Most Excellent Youth in the World, 2018.
The World Youth United Nations Organisation does not exist. It is not registered anywhere. It is not in any UN database. He created the institution specifically to give himself an award from it.
He then listed that award in his public biographical profiles for years. Nigerian media and social media users circulated these profiles as factual.
2023 — INSIDE OSUN STATE GOVERNMENT
In 2023, Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration in Osun State appointed him Senior Special Assistant on Protocol. The appointment was legitimate. The role was real: handling visa and travel documents for the governor and government officials.
He lasted four months.
He was fired for shady deals that included forgery. The governor's office noticed suspicious activity from his desk. The appointment was terminated.
No criminal charge was filed. No public statement was made regarding the finding of the forgery. He left Osun State for Abuja.
The man who would later forge a presidential appointment letter and request diplomatic visa facilitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had learned, or refined, those specific skills inside a state government. He was not prosecuted for what he did there. The pattern held.
MARCH 8, 2024 — THE ABUJA OPERATION BEGINS
He was 37 years old. He had been running variations of the same fraud for over a decade. Every time he was caught, nothing happened. He had no criminal record. No prosecution. No formal consequence of any kind.
He came to Abuja and forged a presidential appointment letter dated March 8, 2024. The letter bore the Chief of Staff's forged signature, fake State House letterhead, and falsified reference numbers. A presidential spokesman later confirmed that the specific forgery tells: genuine State House letterheads do not carry contact telephone numbers. Adeyemi's letter had one. The letter also originated from the Chief of Staff's office, which is procedurally wrong. Appointment letters for agency heads are issued by the SGF's office. That was the first red flag built into the document itself. Nobody caught it.
With that letter, he ran an operation for 19 months. Federal Secretariat office. NITDA-approved .gov.ng domain. Three CBN accounts. 34 commercial bank accounts. 314 civil service staff approvals from the Head of Civil Service. A recruitment waiver from the OHCSF. Posted civil servants from the OAGF. A budget code in the 2026 national appropriation act with an allocation of N1.3 billion. Meetings with the Deputy Speaker, the EFCC Chairman, NERC, a Chinese investment delegation and foreign ambassadors.
All of it built on a forged letter from a man who had been doing this in Ogbomoso since his twenties.
WHAT THE RECORD ACTUALLY SHOWS
The distance from LAUTECH to the Federal Secretariat is approximately 15 years. The method never changed. The confidence grew. The stakes escalated. The consequences never came.
A Nigerian internet user flagged him in 2017 with documented evidence. The real WYO issued a fraud warning in 2017. Ogbomoso knew. His university knew. Osun State found out and quietly let him go.
Every institution that encountered Adeyemi Adeyemi Matthew at any point in this fifteen-year record had the opportunity to stop what would eventually become one of the most audacious institutional penetration operations in Nigerian government history.
None of them did.
The question the investigation into the PFIPC cannot afford to answer narrowly is simply what he did inside the system. The equally important question is what the fifteen years before the system showed him about what he could get away with.
The answer to that question is: everything.
https://x.com/i/status/2075211664744452149 This is the person people were cursing me out for pointing out that if his father had been arrested earlier, he would have thought twice before committing another fraud....BTW despite knowing his son was on the run his father and "cousin" were arrested in his house enjoying his ill gotten wealth!!

https://www.facebook.com/100016624323116/posts/123405254890285/?app=fbl
It is no longer news in Nigeria that some individuals rose to power in politics bearing false claims of their previous achievements. An example of such was the recent controversies surrounding Senator Dino Melaye's certificate. It is quite certain that the “Ajekun iya Senator” will be one of many in his generation who have explored such means to establish themselves in the Nigerian political system. It is worrisome to see some youth trailing the same path. It is therefore expedient that we, as Nigerians who are interested in advocating for anti-corruption and good governance, should make every effort to stop these youths from climbing into the political system using such dubious means and tarnishing the image of our dear country.
In November 2016, news emerged on several social media platforms based in Nigeria that Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew Adeniyi Matthew II has been elected as the President of the World Youth Organisation (WYO). Later in January 2017, Mr Adeniyi claimed to have been sworn into office at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, in a photograph that vividly showed a room setup in Nigeria with various deceptive costumes (See attached picture). The self-proclamation of Adeniyi as the president of WYO was also covered by prominent newspapers such as Nigerian Tribune (http://tribuneonlineng.com/nigerian-emerges-president-general-world-youth-organisation/) and Vanguard News (http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/01/nigerian-adeyemi-heads-world-youth-organisation/). It is so shameful to see these prominent news outlets covering and feeding the Nigerian populace with such falsified stories without conducting comprehensive findings. Interestingly, one of them mentioned that Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew was a former aide to former United Nations Secretary-General, Mr Ban Ki-moon, and former Accounting Officer to the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade. Kindly check the link to read more from the inept reporters of these various news outlets.
Since then, Mr Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew Adeniyi Matthew II has been parading himself in this capacity and soliciting financial support and political collaborations in Nigeria under the auspices of his “self-proclaimed” position at the WYO. Moreover, he is currently promoting the "World Economic Youth Summit 2017" under the disguise of this position using a self-created Facebook page World Youth Economic Summit 2017 (https://www.facebook.com/World-Youth-Economic-Summit-2017-1663101880650104/). He is also inviting people, probably gullible Nigerians, to use $600 to register for the conference in an attempt to siphon their money (http://wyesummit.org/registration/). His folly caught up with him when we realised that the website was designed by Webline, with the address #2 Ogunyase Street, UI, Ibadan. Our checks showed that there is an authentic organisation with the same name and based in the UK, World Youth Organisation. The organisation is a registered charity in England and Wales, and not related to the th,e UN, as Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew claimed. Information available on the WYO's website showed that the organisation does not have a president presently but is headed by a Chief Executive, Kieran Max Goodwin (https://www.worldyo.org/our-organisation/staff). Interestingly, Mr Adeniyi Matthew referenced Kieran Max Goodwin as one of those who organised the election that brought him into office and was also present at his inauguration. This prompted us to contact the WYO to make further enquiries. It is to our amazement to hear that WYO was earlier alerted to the fraudulent activities carried out by Mr Adeniyi Matthew and the organisation released a public statement to this effect in February 2017 to denounce any link with Mr. Adeniyi Matthew (https://www.worldyo.org/news/latest-news/2017-02-12-fraud-warning-organisation-based-nigeria) On the 5th April 2017, we further obtained a comprehensive document from the Director of Public Relations of WYO, Tom Hinchcliffe and Deputy Director Jack Meeson detailing the outcome of the organisation's investigations into the fraudulent activities of Adeniyi Matthew. Please see Under Watch Nigeria for the email correspondence and fraud compilation document sent to our organisation by Tom Hinchcliffe. Indeed, Adeniyi Matthew’s fraudulent activities have constituted an embarrassment to the fast-depleting reputation of Nigeria in the international community. He’s just another desperate Nigerian looking to explore a charity organisation established by youths (under 25) in the UK to advance education and relieve unemployment among youth.
Furthermore, our background checks with many of Adeniyi's colleagues confirmed that he studied Agronomy at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. However, they are doubtful of his graduation from the university with his cohort in 2012 because he didn’t participate in the mandatory farm year for 400 Level students due to carry-over courses exceeding 6 credit units. This information was verified by the fact that his name was missing on the 2011/2012 convocation list. Then, it is very illogical to agree to Mr Adeniyi Matthew’s profile that stated that he earned another Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Accounting Management at the University of Western Ontario from 2011 to 2015. Our checks on the website of the University of Western Ontario showed that the institution does not even have any program called Accounting Management. Sources close to him confirmed that he has never once travelled out of Nigeria, as he claimed in all his bogus publicity through various social media and news outlets. Moreover, we confirmed that Adeniyi's claim as a SUG President at LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY ,OGBOMOSO Lautech from 2007 to 2012 is false. He was at no time elected into this position. He has been deleting some of his posts lately because he knows he contradicts himself on many occasions. There was a time he claimed to have created an empowerment program with the Oyo State Government but deleted the link on his Facebook account (see published under Watch Nigeria).
A check at Adeniyi Matthew’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/EMPEROR2O19) showed that he has used this falsified position to extend his political collaborations across Nigeria as evident with photographs of him with former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan, Olusegun Obasanjo and Abubakar AbdulSalam as well as State governors and other eminent Nigerians such as Chief Emeka Anyaoku (former Commonwealth Secretary-General). There are strong indications to suggest that Adeniyi Matthew is actually putting up this impersonation strategy for financial gains and to boost his political ambitions in the near future.
Dear, fellow Nigerians and friends of Nigeria across the world, please join us in halting the fraudulent activities of such individuals, like Adeniyi Matthew, before they become irresistible to the public. Kindly spread this news and let us shame him for wanting to further tarnish our dear country’s image by his lazy, corrupt and senseless attitude and actions. Sensible and upright Nigerians are hardworking, talented and innovative; they bring solutions to world problems, and a lot of them work with successful corporations and great minds across the world.
NB: This piece has been put together by "Under Watch Nigeria” a virtual citizen-embraced investigation platform for advocating for anti-corruption and good governance in Nigeria. We have been working assiduously on this case for the past 5-6 months to unravel his claims and activities. So this man has been doing this for long......Nigeria sef. |
