This is why some people can never go abroad to try and prove themselves....see how charge and bail lawyer changed the destiny of his lineage in 8 years...Nigeria sef |
Zonefree:It seems you are the only one on this thread that went to school and actually learnt something. Your people are proud of you, the remaining clowns can continue discussing irrelevancies. |
ogascomax:I have no argument with what you've posted above. |
ogascomax:Oga, only a clown would say Atiku isn't corrupt, with the way he spends and has always lived beyond his established means. The same for Tinubu...and probably the same for 99% of other Nigerian politicians. Anyone trying to say Atiku got all his money cleanly and through hard work is just decieving themself. The thing people should be debating is his track record and was he able to ensure lasting development in any sector for someone who has been in the political terrain for almost 40 years now. |
MEGAWATCH: How am I or anyone else suppose to read the report of a secret panel that refused to sit in public and once it had done it's job your yeye AG (who set it up ) refused to make it's findings public. A report that Buhari did not act on and was setup solely to ensure the then EFCC chairman Magu was removed, which they did by later promoting him! You see why I have insulted you so much, how can an educated man be citing copiously a report he has never seen and doesn't know what is inside? Repeating like a parrot the words of an obviously corrupt drowning individual. https://witnessngr.com/magu-two-months-after-presidency-yet-to-act-on-justice-salamis-report/ |
MEGAWATCH:Is it to hard to expect that you know what the definition of "explicit" means. What exactly does it say clown? See a grown man who left his father's house repeating like a baby what he heard, what exactly does it say ? |
MEGAWATCH:Oya now, be explicit and tell us exactly what indicts the current EFCC chairman....and note the word explicit , as I am 100% sure you can't back up your ramblings with nothing of worth. |
AMINDA:Yes, Shagari did. Also OBJ had an overwhelming victory against Buhari (I stand to be corrected though). Oh, also Buhari beat Atiku with a bigger margin than he beat GEJ. In fact this your question is funny as only GEJ failed to do better when he sought re-election....though in his case it could be argued that it was his 3rd time at the polls. Also all of them were not more popular to the electorate in their subsequent attempts, though it can be argued OBJ's case was slightly different. |
helinues:Very very true |
budaatum:This last part of your post missed the point you already observed. They are not banning it because of the milk and eggs added to it, its because they did not declare it.... so in short, if I was allergic to either milk or eggs, I'd eat this noodles not knowing I am causing problems for myself, seeing as it is not identified ! Some people are allergic to things as basic and abundant as meat and dust, but the trick is they can manage these situations because they can see it and control it. Indomie should do the needful. |
Maybe we should be thankful that at least they are not pretending Only God can save Nigerians from Nigerians....chai. |
Based on the writeup above, you are a quack, and I hope no one makes the mistake of calling you. |
trutharena:What is revealing and thought provoking about a clown that was in power for 8 years and ensured he enriched his family and children beyond there wildest dreams, but just a year or 2 out of power now remembers his community is poor and lacks security. Why did he as AGF not prosecute one single terrorist nor ensure that those governors and co that were paying ransom and protection money get prosecuted for encouraging the situation? Thought provoking indeed. https://www.nairaland.com/5988689/house-malami-built-abdulaziz-son

Short answer "Yes you can" Have evidence and show your investment in the relationship due to the promise. Marriage at the end of the day is basically a contract and people have sued for pre-contracts if I remember correctly.

kokoA:This........and this was his biggest sin. Once he understood that the position was overwhelming him and he could not perform, nor was he the one in charge again, then there was no need for him to continue. People forget that despite spending almost 50 years fighting apartheid (with 27 of those years being locked up in SA's worst prison), Mandela still only chose to do one term, rather than allow himself be controlled by the silly cabals that would later ruin the legacy of the ANC. Look at Biya. Look at the one that took over from Idi Amin. Look at Mugabe. People who refuse(d) to recognise when enough is enough. No matter how people want to deceive themselves, this life is short. We can make our choice to play our small parts and be a short term hero, or overstay our welcome and be the long remembered villain of a story. The funny thing is that both OBJ and Buhari spoilt the fond legacies they had thanks to their short accidental years as Khaki leaders. |
I had hoped that after tales like Marilyn Ogar, Nigerians would have learnt there lesson, by sticking to their job roles and not disgracing themselves with oversabi. Clearly the author of the book is not interested in his subject matter (which is Buhari) but more interested in seeking favour by attacking people he believes Tinubu dislikes. Another Nigerian not worth anything more than a kiss ass eye serving wannabe. Osinbajo was who I wanted to be president and I still believe he was the best choice. However, I am enjoying how Tinubu is dealing with the men of "no value" that Buhari surrounded himself with that started behaving as Peacocks. Once Tinubu leaves, it is the same way I fervently pray that those too who have "no value" in this regime (including this author it seems) are severely dealt with and publicly shamed. I hope this cycle will continues until people get it into their thick skulls that power is transient and it is better to ignore an appointment if you know you have nothing to give a nation of more than 200m people. |
descartes400:Honestly some of Tinubu's advisers are just ridiculous. A General doing houseboy as ADC, from the same man who is taking away all the other uniformed houseboys from VIPs..... incompetence in Nigeria for the sake of eye service is really something else. |
Well done to the NBA here. They are finally acting like a proper body of lawyers. |
Racoon:Since you and Falana are struggling with English (the same way he falsely claimed the President must get 25% of vote in Abuja), I have underlined the part that is important. Seeing that you are likely to still struggle, I have begged AI to simplify it for you
|
runningriot:There is no need for protest. The Supreme Court's take on this is clear and to be fair, they have been consistent on this matter. It is those who enjoy anarchy due to bitterness that are suspending there understanding of English and seeing things. The only thing the Supreme Court has added to the debate is that your "suspension" or "SOE" cannot be indefinite and there needs to be a fixed limit with judicial reviews. |
We must learn how to read and understand things in this country, since our journalists are clearly failing us. For those who will continually twist things, even after the aggreived party has already responded, the court was clear on what it said which this quote from the judgement stipultates: “Nevertheless, the President’s discretion under Section 305 is not unfettered. Emergency measures must be temporary, corrective, and proportionate. They must be directed towards restoring constitutional governance, not extinguishing it. Any permanent displacement or abrogation of democratically elected institutions would constitute a constitutional aberration. Someone should please , tell me when the word "suspension" became permanent. A suspension would clearly be unconstitutional if he had removed that word "permanent" from that sentence, if you don't believe me, re-read it and remove the word permanent and see how it reads. The illiterates can continue with their interpretation, led by a Falana that keeps on disappointing even SSCE students with his grasp of elementary language and basic logic. The original reportage by Channels and the other serious media was correct. |
Sermwell:The only person that is not smart enough is a person who is not smart enough to recall common history. The first state of emergency that took power from opposition elected officials was declared by a Northern Prime Minister while an Igbo President was HOS , in the South West region ( 5 out of the 6 states that make the current Southwest), so it has already happened, moomooo. The next ones were declared by OBJ in Northern and SW states. And finally your son GEJ did so too in Northern states,so what exactly is your point. |
Tzar:Beautifully put, no need to say more. |
I wonder how extreme poverty will ever end in the North, when their ruling class always insists on marrying themselves. Funny people. |
The same people complaining were the same people hailing the Supreme Court for dressing down the Presidency regarding pardons. Let me advise people who do not understand basic Gvernment 101, if you think the Supreme Court is meant to act as opposition in a democracy, because una no fit gather yourselves together and oppose properly, you are in for long things. To think this is coming from the same party that declared state of Emergency 3 or 4 times and sacked governors themselves, shameless people. |
austinceasar:My problem with you is only one thing. You can sell your cars for whatever you want or deem fit, but there is no need to falsely claim they are distress sales. |
Aridunnuoluwa:Then buy it and stop disturbing us. As if we don't understand the trick. Aridunnuoluwa:https://www.nairaland.com/8534177/toyota-camry-aka-muscle-sale#137039490 |
Ofunaofu:Keep giving him ideas. When he executes them, don't complain, seeing as you encouraged him. |
kabillion:Distress indeed |
