So a man has 12 children and 3 wife's, he is already struggling with debts.. His monthly salary and barely feed his family not to talk about intrest on loans he has taken before

But miraculously he gets another loan of 2 billion naira

He then decide to book family vacation
sends his children to the most expensive school
Start building a mansion in the village
Buys super luxury cars

One of his children said that they should have invested this money into a business that can yield profit to pay back the debt first so the family won't be in more difficult problem

The other children call him enemy of progress, show him pictures of the cars n vacation then ask if those are not nice things
And if the business fails again like Ajaokuta Steel, NITEL, NEPA, NNPC and all the other silly businesses he has been doing for 65 years where people keep taking advantage of him nko?

Or would you prefer he copies his fellow broke pretentious neighbour who boasts about how he invested most of the money in a brewery and kept the rest in a bank account to earn the smallest of interest?

Biko, please leave Economics for those who actually went to proper schools and studied to understand it.

The example you gave earlier only exposes the level of thinking that has gotten Nigeria to where it is now i.e. puttings square pegs in round holes and thinking every smalltime businessman/leader is a President or finance minister in the waiting.

Anyone who believes the woman is telling the full story is not a serious individual and has no experience with women.

I mean, you want me to believe a sales boy beat his oga's wife the way she described and tore her cloth without her really doing more than enough to instigate him? Oh and the man, who knows both the sales boy and future wife chose to side with the sales boy eh?

That woman will cause trouble in that guy's house, if he is smart, he will let the agbero go.

Unfortunately, those black people that have always believed they are inferior and definitely would come back as a whiteman if given a second chance at life, will continue to defend him and worship his every word/action.

Reminds me of a vintage Kanye song, when he was still sane and with us:

"We shine because they hate us, floss 'cause they degrade us
We trying to buy back our forty acres
And for that paper, look how low we'll stoop
Even if you in a Benz, you still a {n word} in a coupe"

FamilyRe: How Do I Convice My Wife To Have An Abortion, Without Losing Her by AndroBlaze: 2:48pm On Feb 04
mikejones07:
Please bear with me I created a new account to remain anonymous.

Greetings everyone. I am currently facing a very difficult situation and would appreciate some guidance.

I have been married for ten years, and my wife and I have two wonderful boys. Like any marriage, we’ve had our challenges, but we have always worked through them and made things work. I have been the sole financial provider for our family.

In early 2025, we relocated to a new country and have been gradually settling in. When we arrived, we both found employment, but unfortunately, my wife’s lost her job. Since then, she has been passively searching for work and has been quite selective about the type of job she is willing to take, but so far she hasn’t received any interviews.

After the birth of our second child, I clearly communicated that I did not want to have any more children. I encouraged my wife to use contraception, which she agreed to, and I frequently asked for reassurance that it was still effective because I was certain I did not want another child. I must say I messed up here, I too should have had a vasectomy.
Last week, she told me she had missed her period. We took a pregnancy test, which came back positive, and a scan today confirmed that she is six weeks pregnant. She is very excited about the pregnancy, but I am deeply distressed and unsure how to express my concerns without causing harm.

I do not want another child because of the financial, emotional, and mental strain it would place on me. I am 39 years old, and my wife is 33. Being pregnant will also make it even more difficult for her to find employment, she I have been encouraging her to. At the moment, I am fully responsible for all household expenses, including rent, utilities, and food. Throughout our ten years together, I've carried 100% of the financial burden and was happy doing so, even during the times she was working. I never pressured her or asked for anything in return We live in a rented basement and have no support system in this new country—all our family members are back home. When I asked her to explain her reasons for wanting to keep the baby, just emotions and wanting to have a baby girl. She even requested a scan picture of the fetus afterwards we saw a radiographer. Pushing for an appointment

I strongly believe in being able to adequately provide for my children, including their future education, whether college or medical school. Adding another child would significantly increase the pressure on me and delay any sense of financial stability or retirement. I am content with the two sons we have and feel that another child would limit my ability to be fully present and supportive for them.

When I shared my concerns and mentioned the possibility of an abortion, my wife became very upset and started crying. I am worried that pressuring her could lead to resentment, and I do not want to force her into a decision. At the same time, I feel that my situation and perspective are not being fully considered.

I am struggling to find a way for her to truly understand my point of view while also respecting her feelings, and I am unsure what the best next step should be. I love my wife but this is too much on me.
From all you have said and your further responses I think you need to accept this is a lost fight and try and get your mind to accept that this baby will come.

I know it's not easy but if you push the matter further, your marriage and your wife will never be the same again, no matter what you financially achieve later on.

I don't blame you in anyway BTW, in fact I am almost certain your wife engineered this scenario.

You are getting it all wrong bro. Do my assertion tells you I support the boss. I'm just saying as an employee, there are certain things you don't do back to your boss. I for one can never be a wicked boss to the extent of shouting at my workers let alone assaulting them. But also as an employee, I give my bosses the utmost respect they deserve, even if I am older than them.
Ok, you said doesn't the boss knows her sales girl also have anger in her. Now where does her anger lead her to.
In life we ought to use sense to evade so many things.
The point I am trying to get you to understand is that it is not about "boss vs employee", the tragic situation was caused by two people that have anger problems and the boss's anger seniors the other one not because she is a boss.

If this Ezinne girl was an employee, if someone had slapped her she would have responded the same way even if the person that slapped her was her boss.

I have seen this happen quite a few times and it is usually these slay girls fighting each other, stabbing or maiming the other one over the smallest of things. Women easily disregard respect when fighting each other, I am sure I am not the only one that has seen this.

Bro, you're somehow wrong. In as much no one should be slapping anyone anyhow, but you shouldn't retaliate your boss slaps. If he or she slap you one and about to do so again, just walk out from the scene or some metres away. To deescalate the situation
So it is the victim's fault that the boss did not understand her own anger?

Anyway I will not argue with you, as a boss if you like be slapping people up and down, when you will slap someone like Ezinne (who has yet to become an oga yet) you will remember that explosive anger "no de collect explanation or look face".

The perpetrator didn't understand her anger and where it could lead.... using myself as an example, I have always had a hot temper and since realised from experiences in my teens that picking up a weapon when in the midst of that cloud is a terrible idea.

When you have apologized to people for overreach so many times and only have God to thank for not facing the consequences of your actions, you will self correct by force and avoid triggers.

Basically know yourself, or your dark passenger, like Dexter would say....this is easier achieved when you are younger, when the world will always be nicer to you for your missteps.

Is there any specific way to identify as a Nigerian or an immigrant more than Chibueze's statement dedicating his award to the triumphs and travails of immigrants in America? It showed a guy in tune with his Nigerian roots. Apparently, conscious of it.

Erivo is a lady I know too well. She was born in Stockwell. I live in Brixton. I have witnessed some of her Nigerian oriented activities in the past. Come on! They can't be denied their deserved media prominence in Nigeria.

I can't decipher how Samuel "Seal" Olamide was more Nigerian than Tyler Okonma, yet Seal's Grammy award was well received and publicised in Nigeria.

I don't even want to name actors that are Nigerians only in names but had their awards well published in Nigeria. I am not given to these ethnic suspicions but some are just real. And this one is a shame. Pity
I've checked more on Eviro and I'll take the correction as there is a video of her calling herself Nigerian. I like Shaboozey and his music so got no issue with him either.

The thing is, you still you cannot expect proud Nigerians to celebrate these 3 like Fela in any way or form, when we are not shameless. Elon Musk is a South African, how many times have you heard any South African identifying with him, despite the fact he accepts he's a South African.

Anyway, as for your attack on me personally, kindly see the insults I (and a lot of other proud Nigerians) regularly throw at Kemi Badenoch, who identifies as Yoruba but refuses to identify as a Nigerian.

If you want to bring out drums and celebrate everyone because they are your townsmen, good luck with that.

https://punchng.com/supreme-court-discharges-major-convicted-of-manslaughter/

But I will also send this to Falana since you will not believe me as I am not a trend setter or saying the things people like you want to hear.

Also, this case above helps to indicate why it is important for military officers to go through a court martial.

Note that in the report, the supervising officer seems to be the only one found guilty of manslaughter by the court martial despite the fact that it was junior officers that meted out the punishment. It seems the military judges accepted the fact that they were obeying lawful orders and thus acquited them while the blame was squarely given to the man who should have supervised the punishment.

Is it possible in a civilian court those soldiers would be excused for simply following orders? Maybe Falana and the person defending him above knows some new civilian law that I don't know that allows you to commit a crime and say you were just following orders? (Funnily this is the same laughable excuse Deizani is giving to UK courts for her corruption case ).

Anyway, for Gen Zs, try and watch "A few Good Men" by Tom Cruise, I know it is before una time, but it covers a story quite similar to the murder case above and how court martials protect junior officers.

Alleged coup: Soldiers can’t be court martialed under Nigeria’s democratic system — Femi Falana

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, and renowned human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has stated that military officers accused of plotting a coup against the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot be tried by court-martial under Nigeria’s democratic system.

Falana stressed that such suspects must instead be prosecuted in civilian courts in line with constitutional provisions.

He made this clarification during an interview on national television, where he addressed growing public debate over the appropriate legal framework for handling alleged coup attempts in a democratic setting.

According to Falana, Nigeria is no longer under military rule and that the constitution clearly outlines how crimes against an elected government should be prosecuted.

“We are under a democratic government, and as far as the constitution is concerned, we have to take them to a high court,” Falana said.

“The soldiers cannot be court-martialed, they are not trying to remove a military dictator. It’s an attempt to remove an elected government, a constitutional government, to disrupt the constitutional arrangement,” he stated.

The human rights lawyers, explained that “court-martial proceedings are designed primarily for breaches of military discipline and offenses committed strictly within the military hierarchy.

“However, when the alleged offense amounts to treason or an attempt to overthrow a democratically elected government, the matter transcends internal military discipline and becomes a constitutional crime against the state.”

Falana noted that prosecuting such cases through military tribunals would be inconsistent with democratic principles and could undermine the supremacy of the constitution.

“Treason and treasonable felony are offenses clearly defined under Nigerian law and fall squarely within the jurisdiction of civilian courts,” he maintained

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2026/02/alleged-coup-soldiers-cant-be-court-martialed-under-nigerias-democratic-system-falana/
In his old age, Falana has decided to become a Gen Z by force and prefers to "trend" than tell the truth.... a real shame for those of us who use to support and look up to this man.

For serious human beings, everywhere in the civilised world (including US and UK) a court martial can prescribe the maximum punishment, which usually can be appealed in more senior courts.

That's what the old man needed to say instead of looking to trend.

The truth of the matter is that Africa so much believes in Juju, that any item including towel placed around the vicinity of the post is regarded as Juju. grin

I remember the funny incident when Nigeria hosted AFCON in 2000.
Senegal tenaciously held on to a 1-0 lead against Nigeria until almost end of the match.
An NFF official suddenly rushed to Senegal's goal post & removed one object placed there. He was almost beaten up by Senegal, but soon after, Nigeria equalised through Aghahowa & went on to win the match. grin
To be fair to CAF, we must consider the African factor, as Africans in general (including the North Africans) believe in jazz and it's potency.

What they should do next time is provide CAF inscripted towels so no one will claim anyone is using voodoo.
