Many rumors flied about the Gunn vs Dwayne face off. What would be funny is if James Gunn somehow reboots Black Adam in the future.

Anyways, I feel bad for Cavill being used by his "friend" as a power play. I hope he gets the James Bond franchise. One thing tho, Cavill needs to fire Dany Garcia for making him lose The Witcher and Superman in a few months.

To be fair, I don't think Dwayne did this maliciously, while it was very well for his brand ( to be the face of DCEU cinematically and creatively), Cavill would have gotten a pretty big boost too if it worked out ...

As for Dany, stick with him, after all, he got him the Witcher and Super Man gig...
He left Witcher because he was supposedly tired of being the voice advocating for adherence to established Witcher Lore..The creatives wanted to put their own spin on they stories...
One thing you have to recognise is this, Creatives have big over inflated egos, that's why they f"ck up a lot of things. They want to be the reason for the success of whatever they work on, so they go on these ego trips and try to put their signature in places they aren't needed and unless someone higher up checks them, it can lead to convoluted nonsense sometimes...

There was lobbying involved at this point, Zaslav calls up Peter to be the creative and business head of DCEU...Peter tells Zaslav that he can't handle the creative aspect and asks if it's ok to bring in Gunn, Zaslav OK's the decision...
At this point, nothing has been signed yet but Dwayne is aware WB is close to hiring Peter and James, so he goes double or nothing on Black Adam, does everything to bring Henry(they have a business relationship) back so as to prepare a massive cinematic show down between them( doesn't want to get involved with Shazam as a side villain, wants to be the big gun)...

At this point, Dwayne knew James would want to do his own thing and he would have to be subject to his creative direction, so he leveraged his star power into getting WB to get Cavill back in hopes that this would make Black Adam a huge grosser and the studio on seeing this, would let him take his Character and characters( Superman, Justice league, Shazam family etc) whose stories revolved around Black Adam whatever direction he wanted creatively..
I.e - While Gunn would be doing what he was brought in to do, he(Dwayne) wouldn't be subject to him...

Unfortunately for him, BA bombed hard and Gunn as anticipated is cleaning house, leaving him in limbo...
He's also burned bridges with Diesel so the Fast & Furious franchise is out of the equation too ..

There are rumors he's trying to get the Mummy Franchise going again because he wants something that identifies as his brand cinematically...

Gunn wants everything to be his brainchild, so Matt will probably see off his trilogy, or he might get sacked along the way while Battinson gets incorporated by Gunn..

You can get a starting player for 15m currently. It takes a good scouting system and the manager to trust in the talent. Robertson wasn't up to 15m. Clubs still sign players at 15m and it takes their scouts.
Liverpool na one stupid club sha cause our academy is shit. Either they can't scout good players or they can't develop talents. Our academy products have been really poor and it needs to be fixed like seriously.

Robertson was gotten around 2017...It's been 5 years and the market has gotten crazier...You also neglected to mention that Hull City was relegated which further cheapened him..
Also, he didn't walk into our starting 11, he was meant to be Moreno's competition (who picked up form) and became our Starter after Moreno's knee injury....
I'm not saying a player can't be gotten for 15m or below, I'm saying in the current football climate, getting players who are meant to walk into the starting 11 for that price is close to impossible...


As for our academy, it's produced some wonderful talent in times past and currently, Trent and Curtis ...
There are a few promising players in there I'm watching out for currently...Morton especially...

Honestly, there's a better player out than that guy that we can get for 15mil if only our scouting department does their job. 130 mil for one player plus wages is too much. We need like 4 players not 1. And those 4 need to be starters not squad players.
