Well said. Honestly, the heroics of the then Soviet Union during World War 2 has been downplayed significantly. The way WW2 is being narrated these days, you would think the US defeated Germany, when in fact it was the Soviet Union. pansophist: If no be Putin, probably you go de experience slavery part two, worse than what your ancestors experienced. In a world with only one superpower and no other one to check mate themselves, its the definition of hell on earth.
History is filled with lessons to show this, and if you don't study history, you'll repeat the same your ancestors made. Let me use a recent example in modern history, so just two decades ago.
At the beginning of the 21st century, so in 2001, Russia and China was weak then, and in a space of twenty years, many countries namely Yugoslavia, Afganisthan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Cuba and so much more we're either bombed to destruction or sanctioned. And if there are no other powers, I can only imagine the plan they have for Africans.
This is why all western media will never say anything good about China and Russia, since they are a stumbling block to this world order where they stay on top and decide your destiny for you, while everyone else stays down. Now third world countries have options to go to the east for loans, tech, products etc. Who import from the US anymore if not cars?
But everything you use right now is either made directly or indirectly from China. If you think these countries are your enemies, you're seriously mistaking. They have never done anything to make your life miserable, but the Europeans have made our life hell since they first stepped into Africa in the year 1619.
Please start thinking for yourself, no one will do it for you. For example I don't see Nigeria are an independent country. As far as I'm concerned, its not. The definition of independence is when you are responsible for your own destiny and self actualisation.
If we are still using our slave masters language, political system, their corporation controls our resources, while they designed our borders, forces us to be together with people we share nothing in common with (eg Igbo and Hausas), and ushered you to their institutions after giving you "independence" such as UN, WTO, IMF etc, then you're still a slave. It's that simple.
The formula is this. If someone else design your destiny/reality for you, especially someone that enslaved you for centuries, then I can bet my life that it will not be good for you. What good can come out of a plan that involves a lion and a goat? I'll tell you, the goat will be eaten. Simple. So you better thank China and Russia for picking themselves from the dust and giving the west big trouble.
If Stalin didn't defeat Hitler, you think you won't be speaking German by now? If Hitler can actually destroy most of Europe, kill millions of Jews, see the Russians and slavic people as slaves, what do you think he will do to Africans who are really weak? Russia sacrificed twenty million of their men to defeat the nazist, and the world and anyone who loves freedom should be thankful to them. Right now, the residues of that war is still seen in Russia, there are more women than men, since millions died during second world War. Be thankful. |

Akeredolu is currently the governor of Ondo State, and in his hometown, people were massacred. Ortom, is currently the governor of Benue State, and in his State, Fulani herdsmen have been killing his people like flies. When would you people realise that governors are powerless to do anything regarding security? Instead of demanding for restructuring, you're here behaving like a loose canon. Joezinho: Mr trash talker, you were governor when young Igbo youths were slaughtered and dumped inside Ezu river.. You did absolutely nothing, lying Pandoran...He made no move and did nothing when young youths were killed and dumped inside Ezu river. He never set up a panel about the killings, Nwafor and his killing squad were never indicted, erring police officers were never arrested and made to face trial, victims were never identified and compensation was never paid. You can only fool the gullible, lying Chinko stooge.
Before your miscreants rushes here to type, "Police takes their orders from the IGP" , they should also know Soldiers that went to Lekki Toll Gate does not take orders from civilians like Tinubu. |

God bless you TheNiceGuy: Unfortunately, Restructuring is the sole solution to this current problem Nigeria face.
This problem is not about an individual, it's about the system. As long as we continue this way, we shouldn't expect serious turnaround. |
Politics › Re: Akeredolu, Malami Clash Over Restructuring by angelfallz(m): 8:40am On Jun 17, 2022 |
Would Peter Obi restructure Nigeria? Do you have a link to where Peter Obi said he would restructure Nigeria? franchasofficia: Akeredolu is right, very sensible in his submission but you see Malami? He is an agent of darkness and destruction of Nigeria.
Now the question is, can Tinubu restructure Nigeria like Akeredolu is asking for if he emerges winner of 2023 Presidential polls?
Let the best win.
If I were Nigerians, I would elect Peter Obi and Labour Party to become President in 2023, so that it will be easy to impeach him if he fails to deliver on his campaign promises since Labour Party doesn't have much representation at the upper and lower house of assembly.
Nigerians can't control someone like Tinubu or Atiku if they decide to follow Buhari's evil path.
Nigerian youths, use your wisdom. Nigeria is the only country most of you have, the rich, the politicians you are standing on their wicked mandate and their families all have second and third countries citizenship to depend on after Nigeria is destroyed.
More harm to dying Nigeria that Buhari destroyed will lead to final internment of the country called Nigeria. Wake up youths. Vote without tribal sentiment |

You've made nice points. And I'm happy you bright up T-pain, even though i didn't know he now plays video games. However, what i want to point out is that, music alone is not enough these days, not only for Nigerian artistes but all over the world. 50cent made more money from a mineral water investment he did, than from rapping, and right now he is neck deep in Hollywood business. Similar things can be said about Jay-Z too. chorinurholla: This don't really sit well to an extent because if we are looking at who all round success, Mr Eazi is one of the most successful musician out there today (yes, some might say otedola's influence, no energy to argue that), but if we look closely into these artistes other dealings and moves, one would see that Eazi is actually a mile afar from many Nigerian artiste which i would attribute to him been a smart and intelligent person. But like your post title suggests 'Fame', you may get away with your context. Not sure big music moguls care much about fame when compared to all round success, likes of Jay Z would careless about fame and rather make the next billion dollar, thats the mental space i see someone like Eazi is operating on And for other artiste, we can't say what is going on for them, it might not just be music. Another example is T-pain, dude makes more money playing video games now than his music, so to each his own, when we see fame, these guys may be seeing peace & success. |

I always advice people that music is not a sustainable career choice. The highest any aspiring musician will enjoy is four years of fame before falling off. At the very worst you become a one hit wonder who’ll find it difficult to replicate earlier success. Make the money possible and branch into something else. |

I remember Noni that year. .... Even aboki KiNg0G: The goal of every celebrity is to be at the top and remain there for as long as they could, some did, some tried but couldn't... while some just let go of the fame and move to other meaningful businesses of their choice
here are my top 5 countdown celebrity that couldn't handle fame
kOREDE BELLO
it's one thing to be talented and another to be prince charming.. kOREDE is an artist I won't say is that talented, he started young, signed to mavin with one of the most hotest hit single in nigeria of all time GOD WIN,. to the point his name was even changed to it. like they say one hit can keep you in the music business.. he had the fame all through that years just because of that song but too bad he couldn't capitalize on it, an opportunity alot of musicians are looking for till today. even though is name will always ring a bell on our ears but his recent songs may not.
Mr, Eazi
when Eazi came out 2014, 2015 the whole industry shooked, wondering who is this wonder kid almost an extent he was dragged by two african countries, nigeria and ghana. the nigeria born singer who spent quite some time of his life living in ghana was so talented with his thick voice and when he goes "high pitch" on a song they is way he does it till today I still haven't seen any artist that sound so "emotional" like the early mr Eazi sorta like post malone.. Dude was so different, came with a unique style and won next rated the following year unopposed, he even helped revived terry G career through a feature skin tight. it's so painful we don't know why he couldn't keep up, the only thing we knew is that he was dating a billionaire daughter. listening to his latest song this year Legalise, I shaked my head, this man still has it but lost the one thing that matters alot the "fame"
lil kesh
kesh is the reason why I don't blame mayorkun for sticking with davido all through this year's. maybe if he didn't leave olamide so soon he won't have turned to an upcoming artist. his genre of music has been filled by his kind with like of zlanta, naira marley, poco lee and the recent wave on the street portable. kesh had the fame but he couldn't handle it due to the path he chosed.
BLACK FACE
This man doesn't need an intro, he's been sympathised with all through the years by fans, friends and families (fff) for been a victim of a song robbery, african queen stolen by 2face.. he had the fame to renovate himself all through the years and make a comeback but unfortunately he couldn't, been the pillar of the defunct group plantation boys in the early 2000s, he had it all but a mismanagement of fame didn't really help. All he does to cry for a lost treasure and funny enough nigeria's don't take him serious no more. he caused it with his own hands.
ICE PRINCE ZAmani, the man who made alot of nigerias love rap music. the oleku singer who was signed to choc city label became among the top artist making wave at that time within a short period of time. he was so loved as he brought series of rap hit singles, from been feature in samklef noni, superstar, to juju badman!....but all that begin to changed when he dived into doing what other artists were doing (party jam) just to please nigerias. to me that was the begining of his downfall. he was known to be a rapper, why sing? if nigerias wants to listen to party jams they have wizkid for that, they have davido and alot of other musicians for that, he should have held his own which was hip-hop and by now he would have been a legend like his mentors before him, mi, ruggedman, eedris, naeto c. though the last time we heard from him was a feature he got on "I like your waist in particular" which was a mega hit but ever since then nothing. ice Prince just couldn't handle fame, sometimes I wondered what really happened to him.
Note: King0G is no blogger but a music lover! thank you |
