Well, let's be honest... It was bound to get to this. As much as the real truth is obscured, one thing that we can't deny is the worsening state of terrorism and religious radicalisation going on in that North. I said it early last year that if care is not taken, the entire North will implicate this country... Some of you thought or felt I was talking too much. What Trump is saying LOUD and CLEAR to Tinubu and those ass-licking him is simple... Put your house in order! Over 2 years into your tenure should be enough, not to completely eradicate terrorism, but show serious statement of intent by drastically diminishing them to the point of global commendation. Rather than spending Billions trying to win a second term or churning out statistics to support shady economic policies, prove to the world that you know what you are doing about security of lives and properties. |
Lol... Tinubu never still find this man something?!! ![]() I mean... Daniel Bwala and others didn't ass-lick this much before they got appointments. It's just not fair at all. |
Putindbutt:Great question, sir...! ...And my answer is: TIME WILL TELL! For now, PDP is practically dead and gone. |
At this point, PDP is just a tiny arm or fraction of the current ruling party. Whoever emerges the flag bearer will merely be helping Tinubu scuttle the chances of any strong opposition. ![]() |
Vifx:That's because your continent is very much stuck in the dark ages of corruption, ethnicity, and illiteracy. If you have the opportunity or privilege to relocate abroad, you'll understand how futuristic they are. |
McLizbae:From my experience, there are Professors... And then, there are NIGERIAN PROFESSORS. There must be something about this country that makes highly respectable titles seem irredeemably out of place and silly. From Professors to SAN even to PhD holders. |
What this post won't tell you is the sheer amount of time, mental stamina and space, as well as PASSION needed to venture and excel in these fields. Rushing into such fields without doing your due diligence will lead to waste of funds, time and even more despair. I have seen people rush into Cybersecurity and even DevOps just out of the sole aim to "land great jobs", and ended up leaving barely midway when they got overwhelmed with the technical demands in every stage. The truth?!! They are great career areas, but solely for the mentally capable and passionately resilient. Look for your area of strength, find out how well you can create value there, and grow in it...! You cannot force a square peg into a round hole. |
Lol... And, the very same North will be crying about terrorism and banditry. See how our military men are wasting their time and lives fighting a meaningless war... When the real enemies are the people and their governors. You can now see why the terrorism went out of hand under Buhari...! The man was actually helping them blossom from Aso Rock. ...Just imagine what will happen if or when another Northerner takes over from Tinubu. SMH!!! |
Many of them insulting their elders on social media will score 20/20. ![]() ...While the ones still acting like irresponsible teenagers will score 0/20. If you know, you know! ![]() |
He "bought" you?!! Then, proposed to you and you accepted...! Mtchewww!!! There is nothing I despise in this life than liabilities, whether males or females. ![]() |
Looking great for her new age...! Not that much changed after more than 2 decades. Aging gracefully is very proportional to our daily healthy habits and routine. Look at how horribly Wike aged from his governorship days to his current ministerial outing. |
Yeah... Oseni needs to be more professional and courteous even while doling out criticisms. You can't just come on air and go ranting like it's a beer parlor. That said... I still commend him and those still bold and uncompromising enough to call a spade what it is. The truth about Nigerian leadership should never be sugarcoated. |
Ceremonial judgment...! APC-owned higher courts will overturn it and have him well reinstated. Finished country! |
Believe it or not, he just became so unhealthy... He was healthier as a teacher. I don't understand why we glorify overweight and obesity as pointers to "good life" in this country. Not saying he didn't upgrade economically, just saying he failed to watch his lifestyle and diet... Got carried away with greed. |
Kalulu44:I dey calm, Boss...! ![]() Just no understand why graduates will be so comfy sticking around their 'Papa house'. Some people have lived for years in states that they never visited at least 2 LGAs even close to their cities. That's why a lot of Nigerian youths have little to no idea about the state or happenings in their country apart from the half-truths being dished out by their news media. |
Zinpat:There is a distinctive difference between Sudan and South Sudan. Sudan separated into both nations after years of internal conflicts. Sudan is the larger Muslim-dominated nation. Well, South Sudan is not fully peaceful anyway, but never as insecure and volatile as its former Northern part. |
Esthered:She's dead... Sadly, justice is now beyond her innocent grasp. Same with Mohbad! When I learned that the perpetrators are actually walking free, I just shook my head for the Judiciary of this 4th world nation. The fact that our House of Assembly are still sleeping on the laws to restrict, discourage and put an end to this gender-based violence against women and girls says a lot about this nation. |
geoworldedu:Facially without all that cosmetics, she is mid tbh... 3 out of 10. I often imagine how many ladies in Nigeria would really look if makeups and wigs/artificial hair are magically banned overnight. Some won't even have the courage to step out of their bedrooms, especially Southern Nigerian ladies. ![]() |
manuelkel:Lol... Your words are just saddening, to say the least. No wonder your leaders continue to misbehave without remorse... They just know that no matter how poorly they perform, citizens like you will always be satisfied with the "lifetime opportunity" to get a handshake after prostrating for them. Meanwhile, this ceremony above is just what it is... A Ceremony! I earnestly (an even impatiently) await their results in eradicating this insecurity and terrorism that has worsened terribly since APC took over. |
Harddiskng:Lol... You just ended up validating his statement that Nigeria under Tinubu is beyond redemption. ![]() You can say Tinubu has nothing to do with the nature of most Nigerians, but then it shows you don't understand the far-reaching implications and impact of Good and determined LEADERSHIP. Go and research the history of most great nations... See how they started. Some were far worse than Nigeria till people amongst them who came into leadership with vision and mission changed the orientation and view of these same people. Leadership is about influence, and setting good examples. Show good leadership, and the worst among your followers will have no choice but to change or at the very least fall in line. It's just myopic and sad to keep excusing or justifying poor leadership at all levels because citizens have "corrupt natures". |
maasoap:No one, Chief... No one at all. ![]() |
Watianoengineer:Same way natural resources like oil, agriculture and minerals make nations great. Nigeria has had those in abundance for close to a century... Where is the greatness?!! ![]() |
Sannisege:Who did Tinubu and Buhari blame in 2014?!! ...Or you were not born then?!! ![]() |
Sigh... I'm just thinking of the poor soldier or soldiers whose uniforms they are wearing about with so much audacity. ...And you are telling me these people are beyond the ability of Air force, DSS, and others to get?!!. Announce national protest, and the same military that seems understaffed to eradicate these terrorists will suddenly be all over the place with guns blazing away. Nah... These people are well taken care of and sponsored by the very same people ruling the nation. They have mortgaged the lives of Nigerian citizens. |
Sigh... Prophecies are supposed to be Divine instructions and directives. Soothsayers and Predictors have now taken over the Christian religion for financial gain or spotlight. |
Good one... The court did well! I seriously hate it when children simply feel entitled to inherit their parents' wealth. An inheritance is not always a right, but a PRIVILEGE! Work hard and build your own legacy. If you get gifted an inheritance (emphasis on gift or bequest), it should be an addition to what you have earned or built for yourself not something you spend your entire life waiting on your parent to die off and get. |
Used to enjoy traveling across Naija and neighboring countries during and after my Youth service. Those that have never travelled would never understand the thrill, fun and education of embarking on such journeys. Sadly, Insecurity and Terrorism severely damaged and dampened my love for travelling in this country... Such a shame!!! I know friends that narrowly escaped death while on such "tourism"... Others were not quite fortunate. ![]() ...It's a real shame what the beautiful nation and even continent have become badly reduced to due to Politics of terrorism. Growing up back then, traveling was a must for anyone serious about understanding and learning... It is a proper form of education. Shocking to know there are a lot of men and women in Nigeria that have never visited or stayed in more than 2 cities in their country... Smh! Some of you even brag about being local champions in Lagos, Abuja, Benin, etc... Una no just dey shame. |
Amotolongbo:Same thing happens in every major city around the world...! New York Johannesburg Paris London Etc... Yet, they are not number one in that global list. Bring a better excuse abeg. |
Lol... If a Nigerian leader doesn't abuse his office, how can he qualify to be a Nigerian leader?!! ![]() Wait for certain "Patriots" to come and defend this aggressively... Just wait! |
fergie001:Calm down... He has only lost JUST 6 out of 7 games. No real cause for alarm. Once the following are done, the crisis will abate: 1. Crystal Palace must release Marc Guehi immediately to Anfield. 2. Teams must stop and desist the 'nonsense' art of needless long throws and long balls. 3. TEAMS must inform 'other' teams ahead if there will be changes in their attack set-up. 4. Finally, they must begin another International break tomorrow to accommodate the need for a certain team's newly recruited attacking signings to train and get used to This is not too much for Liverpool and Slot to ask of the EPL. Thank you. |
fergie001:Relegation?!! What a distasteful thing to think or say! Slot is not Amorim please... He is a Trophy winner. This is just a slight bump on the road to recovery and rebuild. |
