Appointments are great... But, until we see actual measurable results, these are just mindless formalities.

Imagine insecurity worsening within 2 years in office, yet these people are paid fat paychecks every month.

For doing what exactly?!!

Where are the checks?!! What KPIs are even used to measure performances in all sectors?!!

Sigh... If you want to double as or impersonate someone, at the very least try to fully acquire his physique and personality.

Check out those that act as stunt doubles for top actors in Hollywood... You will always struggle to tell them apart.

Even to gym and buff up like Flavour, this one no fit do.

Looking like Flavour that narrowly escaped Fulani herdsmen. lipsrsealed

I pray our own won't end in sit tight , handwriting is on the wall, all institutions that are supposed to be checkmating him, already collapsed.

Judiciary, national assembly, gov forum, even online data warriors,......all fighting for him to become demigod.

Alassane Outtara, Kigame, Gbagbo among others once fighting as good opposition leaders and freedom fighters until they clinched power and become deputy gods.
Power and Africans are dangerous mixtures...!

It doesn't matter whether it's Democrats, Military leaders, or even Civil rights leaders.

Once most Africans taste power at any level, it simply poisons their systems and destroys any form of good nature they ever possessed.

The problem is foundational and rooted within the very fabrics of our society starting from our families.

The worsening culture and even doctrine of control, oppression and suppression is imbibed in most Nigerian and African households.

Most of us are not raised on sound principles of Love, Humanity and Corporate social responsibility.

Look at the young men and women shouting and criticizing all over social media... Evidence shows that almost all of them easily turn tyrants as soon as they are invited to the table of leadership.

Look at the SUG in all universities as well as NANS... All corrupt rogues stealing and helping oppress their fellow students.

Look at our religious houses especially churches as well... How many people of sound and moral character are they raising?!!

How many Christians and Muslims elected into offices or appointed over the years have made great differences?!!

Sigh... The foundation is deeply and perhaps, irreversibly poisoned!

All hope might be lost for this continent!

If he is a private citizen then why is he being given so much attention in our public space?

His support for Tinubu and APC is subject to public scrutiny. If he doesn’t like it, he should crawl into a hole.

What is being silly about scrutinising every little detail of those who occupy our public space huh
What is silly is not subjecting the man or any man or woman to scrutiny whether publicly or privately.

What is downright silly is subjecting such a reputable individual to needless insults and abuses simply because of his personal Political stance or leanings.

Is this clear enough, sir?!!

The main people that helped enshrine Buhari in 2015 were:

1. Goodluck Jonathan for being clueless and unable to take firm grip of his cabinet.

2. Practically all religious leaders from Christians to Muslims.

3. Sowore and Sahara Reporters.

4. The same Atiku and El-Rufai forming opposition.

5. Average Nigerians that felt anyone, even a goat, was going to do better than GEJ.

So, maybe you need to revisit that statement.

I completely agree with you sir.

I just don't believe it's fair to make it about age. It shrinks the democratic space and gives a general entitlement to less qualified people within age bracket we think is ideal.

If a younger person wants it then he or she must earn it. It's my opinion though.
The aged people there have not earned shit!

A democracy where the greatest qualification is WEALTH rather than Leadership skills, Patriotism and Citizens welfare will never amount to a great country.

Your opinion of him being a Senator of Nigeria and reason why the country's in ruin just trashy! Many countries in the world practice polygamy and they are doing well, and Nigeria constitution never forbid polygamous marriage.
If you were not too emotionally caught up in overly defending Polygamy (which I didn't even criticize or disagree with), you would have seen clearly that my critique about his career as a leader wasn't about his opinion on Polygamy...!

It was clearly about his choice of words and misogynistic attitude towards the opposite gender.

A Senator uttering or using such terms to allude to women in any civilised nation would he opening himself to impeachable recall.

Demanding a certain level of decorum, intelligence and civility in utterances regarding any topic, not just Polygamy, is not "trashy" sir.

Demand more from your elected and overpaid leaders... You deserve far better than this level of mind-numbing and shocking mediocrity.

foodlum:
Bruh! aint dat the truth!
I've always wanted to marry as many wives as I can fully provide for and take care of. Women are creatures made to be loved and cared for by men. In turn, the woman yields and submit herself to that provider and caring man. I love women. I care about them just as I love children and care about them. Even though I was raised in a monogamous strict Apostolic tradition household and spent most of my life in the West (mostly the US), I fully intend to marry many wives BUT not have many children. 1 wife 1 child. Each wife gets 1 separate house, 1 car and 1 thriving business. I will love them and fully provide for them equitably. No favoritism. And I will be the King of my mini kingdom.
This template is fully permitted by God. Check and confirm your scriptures.
You are absolutely free to do so...!

Just be smart and sensitive enough to ensure all women you are bringing into the Polygamous home are fully okay with their roles.

Statistically, it is mostly desperate ladies who see marriage as escape from poverty that agree to polygamy.

Even independently successful ones won't come into polygamy except with a far more successful man with the capability to improve them even more.

So, while your desire for multiple women under one union is great... Hope your financial and even mental health have far greater capacity?!!
Politics › Re: Ned Nwoko Defends Polygamy, Says Men With One Wife Deserve Pity by Angelfrost(m): 5:05am On Oct 27, 2025
Host78:
you're lying.

Most of us today have witnessed monogamy than polygamy.

In fact, to many Nigerians today, polygamy is a myth. One they are continously taught that it's bad and bad for the children.

Most have not seen a man with more than one wife and most can easily tell you the disadvantages of polygamy and the advantages of monogamy because that's all they've been taught from childhood.

Polygamy is great and children all went to school.

My uncle was a primary school teacher with 3 wives and all went to school.

I know of others like that. There are some who had just one wife and the kids don't go to school.

If the man wants to train his children he will regardless of the number of wives.

There are disadvantages also but for the man the advantages are more just that it has been painted black by our schools and our minds have been poisoned against it right from primary school
Christian religious indoctrination about marriage aside... Polygamy excelled in the past because society was not as immoral and money-focused as it has become today.

So, even if you bypass the doctrinal shackles of religion and/or modern borrowed societal values of today, how many young men of today can economically sustain a Polygamous union?!!

Even at the turn of the 18th - 20th centuries, it was becoming even more undesirable for struggling and financially disadvantaged men, of which the numbers of such are astronomical today.

So, it's okay to listen to overfed criminals like Ned and even agree with his stand on the "benefits" of Polygamy, but the reality remains... Is it actionable or even sustainably feasible in today's harsh times?!!

Or, you think you can court and marry multiple working class women, none whom would mind sharing financial burdens with the same man they share with fellow wives?!! Today's feminists?!! Lol.

Abeg... Leave all this talk.

Ned will always defend himself. Until one of him wife poisoned am and they all share the money first
Well, before they poison or kill him to inherit all the money, they will need to first have access or be signatories to the said wealth.

They will have to be certain of being well compensated in his final will and testament.

Men like Ned don't get to become this wealthy and powerful by being naive about life and the complications that come with multiple wives or excessively large families.

The women will do all they can to please him and ingratiate themselves deeply into his Will.

You don't diminish yourself to the lowly state of Polygamy with unattractive men if you don't have schemes of being well compensated.
