omoredia:That's not exactly true...! How many citizens of other nations are as hardworking as Nigerians?!! List the countries! The Nigerian system is simply corrupt, rotten and stacked against honest and hardworking people. Look around and research well... You will see that the wealthiest Nigerians are neither hardworking nor honest. |
That's good...! God richly bless the giver. His reward will be far exceeding. As for the young man above, if he likes he should go into another borrowing spree or venture, then praying for succor. Bible already admonished... "Go and Sin no more". ![]() |
Well, most of you set yourselves up for misery by biting more than you can chew. The worst thing a lot of you young men have done and still do today is monetizing relationships and love. Such a shame! |
popp:That's what you see in poverty-ravaged 3rd world countries na. SUVs that students easily acquire and finance over a decade abroad, na people dey throw party over for Naija. Honestly, every serious Nigerian with a good education needs to travel out and see how life is properly lived. SMH!!! |
BafanaBafana:True... But, what exactly were you expecting?!! For Nigerians especially the frustrated youths to jump into celebration?!! Social media is not the place to be posting everything. |
mightyhazel:Lol... Stop that nonsense abeg! The real question is who be Raye abi na Raymond?!! Daniel Regha no small despite his hungry man appearance. ![]() |
Nobody is forcing you to do a damn thing... Enough of these silly statements by you ungrateful immigrants. If your professional qualification from your country were equivalent in every aspect along with your work experience, you would be sliding smoothly into that role abroad. There are Pharmacists, Doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc, who came from other nations and are practicing their professions in UK. Most of them don't come online misyarning the way a lot of you Nigerians do. Una too dey constitute nuisance for social media...! |
FalseProphet1:Sigh... I mean, we get you have to live up to your moniker, but you are taking the ridiculousness a tad too far na. ![]() If Nigeria manages to qualify, surviving the group stage would be sufficient to declare several public holidays. |
If Super Eagles like make them dey dull...! That game is a desperate win or nothing... While praying that South Africa, by some miracle, loses. Truth be told, this 2026 world cup will likely be the most competitive we have seen since the one hosted by France in '98. The African teams are looking really good for the very first time in a long while. |
Okay... Good for her. So, here is the thing... Whether married or single, if you truly enjoy your life, why the constant need to explain your life choices?!! Why do some married and single people feel it's necessary to prove to strangers on social media that they are happy being single or married?!! It really makes no sense to me...! |
Benin Republic no wan hear o. Those guys mean business this time around. |
topoftheworld:Free him to continue stressing his government from UK?!! Nah... Kanu will remain in jail till Jagaban hands him over to the next President. |
The concept of DND will never make sense to me... Except at night when sleeping. |
That's almost 70% of our population. ...And this is a conservative figure that doesn't really tell the facts. The real number is definitely worse. APC's legacy is not good at all! |
Validated:You mean the very same Nigeria that is one more rigged election away from complete civil war and economic shutdown, abi another one?!! Some of you seriously overrate yourselves and your 4th world nation. Boko Haram never gree leave una for over 12 years. |
The things Africans put up with in the name of culture and democracy kinda makes it understandable why foreigners don't really rate our collective intelligence...! I mean... You can't tell me a sovereign nation with millions of youths can't upend or scuttle this absurdity. How long will one man and his family continue to make a mockery of an entire nation?!! Na wa o!!! |
SmartPolician:How many Catholic priests and nuns are truly CELIBATE?!! Let's not even talk about the numerous sexual scandals in addition to child molestation. That celibacy law is man-made and should be jettisoned. |
They made the right decision between God and man...! No need living a lie in the name of man-made religious laws that make no sense whatsoever. |
Those that came up with the term "Balanced Diet" were not stupid after all. Some people in the name of weight loss, staying clean abi detoxing will be shunning carbs. I just dey pity them. Especially some so-called Vegetarians. |
Well, that your mama no kill your papa doesn't mean certain other women in their generation didn't kill their spouses. Truth is... While marriage won't benefit everyone, it doesn't make it bad or something not worth experiencing. Marriage is not meant to be easy or perfect... But, same can be said for work, business, and life in itself. If you haven't met someone you can truly commit your life to, then it's understandable...! But if you have met the person, but keep avoiding commitment based on what you see in the news or social media, then you are really not serious about your future and life. |
Nice culture and tradition...! I hope it won't die or fritter away to Western influence, as we are seeing to many cultures in Nigeria and other African nations. Of course such a practice can't and won't work in a predominantly averagely earning or poor people. |
Yet, not even a bullet to Nigerian Army to fight insecurity and terrorism. Wetin even consign me with another country money sef. Over 80% of such donations or aid would have been diverted by Nigerian leaders. |
Nope... Her anger is misplaced, unjustified, extreme, unnecessary and CHILDISH! Yes, the other lady might or could have used a more flattering picture, but your real face is your real face. Getting angry and even cursing someone for using an unfiltered picture of you to wish you well on your birthday shows that something is deeply and even mentally wrong with you. This is why I like guy's attitude to life in general...! A guy would have laughed over such a thing, and turned it into a friendly exchange of banter and snickers along with other brothers. Some of you ladies have serious issues...! God help the guys in your lives. |
Same reason men cheat on good and faithful women...! It's Boredom and hunger for self-destruction. What applies to one gender must apply equally to the other. |
Really?!! This same Naija abi another one?!! Abeg, wetin be these people agenda with all this propaganda?!! |
Blame your greedy and overzealous Immigration sector for this mess...! |
Good for her...! No serious nation should allow unlawful residents and immigrants stay in their country. |
nairalanda1:Yeah... It's the absence of Toll gates and taxation that made leaders award contracts to tune of Billions for that road, released funds for rehabilitation, and had the funds stolen and embezzled. It is also the lack taxation of Nigerian citizens that made the government spend over 16 Billion Dollars on the power sector for years without results. It is this lack of taxation that made trillions of Naira disappear into other nations while infrastructures decayed in the oil and gas sectors. Truly... You are right... If Nigerians start getting deducted massively as much as 40% of their lean incomes monthly, everything will become good... Misappropriation and embezzlement of funds will cease automatically. Of course, it is the low tax ratio that makes corruption and embezzlement thrive in Nigeria. |
Good choice... I wish her the best going forward. May she find someone who respects himself and the woman he is espoused to. Infidelity is abhorrent and simply a disregard for the feelings and emotions of another. It's inexcusable. |
If you know how many times the contract for that road has been awarded and re-awarded, you go shock till infinity. Many Nigerians don build estates on top contracts for roads like this and Lagos-Ibadan expressway. You would think it's impossible to fix such roads, but it isn't. Corruption no go ever allow this country move forward... Especially Southern Nigerian. The day I visited Northern Nigeria for the first time, was the day I wept for Southern Nigeria...! See roads and electricity differences so glaring! North get corrupt leaders... But you see Southern Nigerian leaders and politicians ehn... Satan and his host of demons dey really learn work where them dey. |
