The penalty should have been retaken. Athletico was robbed
That was just bizarre...! The penalty ought to have been retaken.

Well, Madrid is the cartel leader of UCL.

So far, so good for the UCL Landlords. cool

Marcos Llorente must be high... Lol. What a miss!

Congrats to Real Madrid!

If another team can help them eliminate Barcelona, they just might be retaining that UCL for another ridiculous time.

UCL constantly favoring these guys in white! grin

UEFA BRING BACK THE AWAY GOAL RULE!!!!
Nah... That Away goal thing made no sense abeg.

So glad it's gone!

It was just unfair to serious teams.

Whoever wins this penalty shootout between Madrid and Atletico remains the toughest alongside Barcelona.

With hell with their dumb apologies

I boycotted the movie and never watched it…. The movie should be banned in Lagos and Nigeria
That's a little too late now...!

They have made their money and whatever impact on the minds of watchers remains.

Honestly, this apology is the best you can get now.

Such an indictment on the movie censorship board in this country.

Sigh... All of us faulted the protracted incarceration of MKO till the day he died.

Call me names, but I really don't get the whole charade behind this man's trial.

You can't have me believe it takes years to establish innocence or guilt in this matter.

It's actually beginning to look like y'all don't know what to do with the guy.

If you convict and sentence him, heads will roll... If you discharge and acquit him, more heads will roll.

Maybe arresting him was a mistake.

Ghana must certainly be a very prosperous nation...!

That can only be the explanation for this level of misplaced priorities.

I wish them well.
Politics › Re: Igbo Town Unions Reject FG’s Ranching Plans In South East by Angelfrost(m): 7:13pm On Mar 12, 2025
JuanDeDios:
You asked why it's become an issue, that's what I answered.

So you think branding them terrorists (whether they're really terrorists or not) will solve any problem? Hmm.

Anyway, I think what government is trying to address is the problem of farmer-herder clash, which was how the problem started, long before criminals took over and started committing mas murder. The fact is that criminals are entering our communities under the guise of being herders. This policy will take that problem away and make it easier to deal with criminals.

But, still, goodluck to those chanting "private business private business". They kind of remind me of the guy who was speeding along an expressway, on the RIGHT side of the road. A trailer emerged and started coming head-on to him. People shouted at him to clear off the road, but he said "No, I'm on my right of way." Well, he sped on, damned right. And he was crushed by the trailer, damned right.
Sigh... There is no such thing as "Farmer-herders" clash!

Can we just quit that crap?!!

That's gaslighting 101.

We are talking about the forceful taking of farms, maiming, rape, murder of innocent people here.

We are talking about atrocities that are no different from war crimes.

Infact, we are talking about the agelong indulgence of nomadic herdsmen simply because they are from specific tribes and regions that are clearly well represented in key parts of government.

When you are ready to face the reality of your failed state, let me know.

You people dont even think, just emotional reaction to everything.
Herdsmen are currently killing you. Bandits are also killing you.
So which is better, leave the herdsmen to keep rummaging through farms and forests killing people, or confine them to a specific area where they can be controlledhuh

Think for once, please.
You can't confine nomads intent on brutality and evil...!

Use your brain abeg.

This is a silly copout from the head of the nation.

Nothing will stop coldhearted killers from leaving an allocated land to seek other 'greener' pastures.

A great man once said:

"Criminals thrive under the indulgence of a weak society"

Our approach to security of lives and properties in Nigeria is pathetic and shameful.
Politics › Re: Bandit Kingpin, Dogo Saleh, Killed By Gang In Rescue Attempt – Police by Angelfrost(m): 6:56pm On Mar 12, 2025
“The operatives swiftly engaged the criminals in a fierce gun battle, displaying superior tactical expertise and resilience. The bandits were ultimately overpowered and forced to flee into the forest with severe gunshot wounds. The suspect sustained fatal gunshot wounds inflicted by his own gang during the crossfire. He was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead,” Adeh said.

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!!!

JuanDeDios:
Because herding had caused and is causing many deaths. It has become a national security, so common sense says government has to step in.
If the government had put the security of lives ahead of other misplaced priorities, this would never have been a menace in the first place.

This is practically giving a soft landing to terrorists and miscreants who have maimed and murdered thousands over the years.

If you pull this off, what stops other criminals and lowlifes from taking off and demanding settlement too?!!

How many terrorists are we going to 'settle' before making national security a top priority?!!

What is stopping cow owners and herders from purchasing lands for their own use?!!!

What has stopped the national assembly from criminalising and branding these people terrorists all these years?!!

I mean... They wasted no time in branding and going after Ipob with the full strength of the army.

Yes... If there is a NEED!

The need being that they are a threat or nuisance to the administration.

...As if there has to be a "need" before corruption is eradicated with corrupt people hounded and placed behind bars.
Politics › Re: Igbo Town Unions Reject FG’s Ranching Plans In South East by Angelfrost(m): 5:32pm On Mar 12, 2025
Are we still on this nationwide ranching nonsense?!!

If you have to do cattle rearing or livestock business, you simply purchase the land for it... Why is that even up for debate?!!

The way you Nigerian leaders treat these Fulani herders with kid's gloves, one would think they are doing the entire nation a huge favor by rearing cows.

As if beef is cheaper than water in Nigeria.

You said that the Rivers people love the governor, right?
The 27 lawmakers are working with Wike to ridicule the governor and make the state ungovernable to possibly impeach him, not so?

If the people love him, then why have they failed to recall the 27 lawmakers?
Are you so clueless to see the connection huh
Lol... Recall, you say?!!

You would be shocked to know that over 90% of Nigerians have no idea of that constitutional provision or how it works.

Matter of fact, believe it... Most Nigerian youths are completely ignorant about how leadership and democracy work.

When you read their blatant and unabashed support for miscreants in power like Wike, Akpabio, and the rest, even while suffering and living subpar lives, it tells you the level of mental incapacity of most Nigerian youths...!

Sadly and shamefully, many of them are actually university educated. Smh!!!

Stop this talk... It's unintelligent.

You don't "CHOOSE" a governor! Not as an individual.

You can help or support a person's candidacy but once he becomes a governor, you remove yourself from his administration, at least publicly.

A democracy is not a selection process! There is a clear distinction between election and selection.

You Nigerian youths are shockingly ignorant of how governance and leadership ought to work.

It's shameful and sad how you guys condone the rascality of Imbecilic thugs in power.

How?!! I'm clearly on the side of the people of Rivers state and democracy.

I'm clearly against the interference and tampering of that state by Wike acting like he is the owner of Rivers.

I wouldn't have given a shit about the matter if it was a simple squabble between the state Executive and the Legislative house.

Is that clear enough for you?!!

He should have rejected the offer when Wike chose him too.
Guy, talk like an educated person.

Whatever happened in private between both of them should remain in private, except there was a legal documentation of this agreement, which can't be as it goes against democratic tenets.

Even abroad, political endorsements and godfatherism happens all the time, but they never see the light of day nor get hinted by the media... It stays behind closed doors where it should.

Maybe you have forgotten what the term Democracy truly stands for... Might be the way we practice it here has made you think less of it.

Still, Wike has no business making such statements or standing in the way of his successor... There is something called Constitution and rule of law.

Wike is not smart, and clearly most Nigerians supporting him are not either.
