No Messiah is coming to save us and wailing everyday wont change shii. Learn the game but dont ever scam your fellow Nigerian
No Messiah is coming to save us, but many of you have been calling Tinubu the incorruptible chosen one! Same way others believe Obi is the chosen one too.

Learn the game?! What game?!
Career › Re: I Became Happier Immediately After I Left My Banking Job – Nigerian Man by Angelfrost(m): 2:08pm On Jan 24, 2025
Most private jobs are like that...!

It's a known fact that a lot employers in the private sector hate their job so much, they would resign in a heart beat if they had an alternative.

Sadly, the alternative is always slightly better if not worse in the long run.

A printer for such an agency is news worthy?
Yep... Highly newsworthy

Especially when it's a special printer that can't be found anywhere but in Nigeria, and will require Billions of Naira to export or courier over there. cool

It is because you don't have values. You don't understand yourself yet. A man without values is a man without life
That right there is the mindset of the average Nigerian.

Stealing and corruption are only frowned upon if they are not directly or indirectly benefiting from it.

Only less than 10% of Nigerians have moral values and integrity.
Politics › Re: Governor Ododo And Yahaya Bello Visit Wike In Abuja (Photos) by Angelfrost(m): 6:56am On Jan 24, 2025
Just like that... The criminal is touring around.

Soon he will get an appointment or become a Senator.

After all, people like Akpabio and Orji Uzor Kalu got away with theirs.

That would be the final nail in the coffins of certain corrupt 3rd world nations.

Not that I'm defending this shameful act but as a senator Ekwerenmadu did wonders for his people... So I kind of understand

But he is still a corrupt politicians
Wonders?!! What does that even mean?!!

It seems many of you really don't know the duties and obligations of Senators to their constituency.

That's how some Rivers people are still claiming that Wike did Wonders in the 8 years he spent as governor.

Okay... I hate to ask this, but erm...

What exactly is the point of the celebration?!!

When Ibori returned from jail in UK, he was welcomed with fanfare and jubilation like he was Nelson Mandela.

Yahaya Bello too...!

Why exactly do most Nigerians celebrate their corrupt and oppressive leaders?!!

This is worse than Stockholm Syndrome.

Businesses cannot thrive in places where poverty reigns supreme.

The success of most industries has a direct correlation with the buying power of at least 60% of the population.

The most foolish set of Nigerians are the foolish people...!

Let's leave religion out of this.

That majority of idiots in Nigeria happen to practice one religion or the other is merely a coincidence.

There are smart people in Nigeria who are religious whether mildly or extremely.

Nigerians are not anywhere as religious as Brazilians, Saudi Arabians, Jordanians, Italians, etc.
Christianity Etc › Re: Police Raid God Deliverance Apostolic Church Port Harcourt, See Python, Coffin by Angelfrost(m): 3:41pm On Jan 23, 2025
Okay... Other than Animal Cruelty, what exactly is the crime here?!!

Except there is clear evidence of wrongdoings or harming people, there is really no case here.

Juju in any clergy's altar is not a criminal offense but a religious issue which should be sorted out within the Christian or Church body.

Trolling and defaming Burna might yet be the closest this clown will come to the limelight...!

I wish him well.

What I don't quite get is why Burna didn't sue him to court, so that the judge can place him where he truly belongs.

This back and forth with the police makes no sense... Except burna truly has something to hide.

I thought we are analysing this current season and not last season.

Last season, Rodri wasn't injured
Dias wasn't injured
Walker was still tight and disciplined
Ederson's head was still alright.
Alvarez was playing well in De Bruynes absence
Foden was at the form of his life.

Last season, Nunes, Rico, Kovacic, Savinho will not start against PSG

The team is old and no squad depth, in addition Rodri's injury
Okay... I do get your point.

Still, they are not as bad as you are painting them.

You said their second team is stronger than and more expensive than others' first team. And he told you to mention them

City's bench is somehow impressive but nowhere as good as others' first teams. That nonsense has been pushed by the media to try water down their achievements and people have fallen for it.

City's bench is imbalanced most especially in defense
...And I countered by listing teams whose first teams are on par with City's tier 2 squad, yet are keeping their heads up in the league.

Forest is in the title race with a squad whose players wouldn't have made City's bench last season.

I'm not trying to water down anyone's achievement... I have serious respect for Pep.

But, I expected a better response to key injuries than this horrendous collapse.

Come on!

Which team gunning for the big competitions would really be envious/covetous of that City midfield and defense @ the moment?
Can you even confidently name one?
Lol... Let's be honest. How exactly is that defense any worse than what the following have:

Crystal Palace
Bournemouth
Brighton

...Even Forest doesn't exactly have world class players from attack to defense (Yes, Guardiola won't even look at them twice on a normal day).

It's funny how critics and pundits consistently slam Ange and Amorim's teams, but when it comes to Pep, it has to be lack of quality players.

Let me tell you straight up... PSG and City had equal quality in terms of squad. Period!!!

Kindly mention the second tier squad and their value.
Sometimes, we just assume cos of what they have achieved. Of the current top 6, Man city has the weakest squad depth.
Weaker squad depth and quality than

Aston Villa
Nottingham Forest
Bournemouth
Brighton

Weaker squad depth than even Crystal Palace?!!

Cos all these teams are playing way better... None of them will easily toss away 2-goal leads.

No need arguing... They have splashed the dough again on 3 or 4 signings.

Let's see how things progress.

A team that was once known for always controlling games is now the one being tossed up and down. Smh!
This Man City team needs some serious reinforcement of some solid players in defense and midfield.

Players like Akanji, Rico Lewis, Matheus Nunez, Gundogan are no longer dependable and should just be spares by now.
Really?!! At what market value?!!

City's second tier squad is what some clubs can only dream of.

So arsenal doesn't need a striker because of today's game?
Of course, they do... They need someone like Victor Osimhen or Gyokeres.

Either of the 2 will be excellent.

I just feel Havertz gets all the blame meant for Arteta and the club management, which is very unfair.
