I won't directly blame Tinubu but neither will I exonerate him completely. Reno is just doing eye service and desperately courting Jagaban's attention. Everything has a cascade effect... These outreaches have been going on for decades during yuletide seasons without such incidents. To deny the fact that many people died due to higher rate of poverty and hopelessness is being dishonest and mischievous. I still haven't seen Reno and his likes comparing the giant strides of other nations with those in Naija... Why do we always like to justify everything rather than constantly trying to improve?!! |
Goalnaldo:Well, Madrid cannot be said to in the same boat as Man United. Infact, Madrid has never been in United's position... They have never had such crisis. ...And the reason is because they are far better managed in terms of financing and player recruitment. We are talking proper management that has been sustained for decades. Several decades of maintaining high standards. Madrid recruits smartly and ahead of time, hence they are never short of the right talents, from coaching down to reserve and academy players. With Madrid, there is nothing like emergency purchase or fire brigade approaches... So, their talent pool never runs out. That's why they can afford to be ruthless and impatient with both coaches and players... This is far different and above United's uncoordinated and rubbish management approach. United needs to suffer and work on their recruiting properly for nothing less than 3 straight seasons. This takes time and patience... Sacking coaches every 2 years won't solve the rot. |
These people are just bloodthirsty...! Looking for the slightest excuse to unalive anybody. Na wa o! |
Everyone always has the answers till they get into that office...! Going by how Buhari and Tinubu dragged and criticised everything Jonathan did, one would think they would have tranformed Naija into Dubai by now. |
Goalnaldo:Okay... Keep sacking and looking for good coaches. Moyes LVG Mourinho Ole Ragnick Erik ten Hag ...Now, Amorim! By the time Ancellotti, Zidane and Enrique have tried and failed within 2 years, maybe then you all will understand and have sense. ![]() |
Malroux:Lol... As long as they aren't getting relegated. Good enough for them. The team and club are way below average. If they finish top 10, then Amorim should be Knighted! ![]() |
nairalee:Nah... Not a curse! Just impatient and unrealistic. It took Sir. Ferguson not less than 4 seasons to lay a proper foundation before they became really competitive back then. Suddenly, the man retires leaving behind a worn out team and system, and they now expect any hired coach to rebuild in 1 - 2 seasons. No way!!! Amorim can get the job done, but it will take him years of serious ups and downs before the system takes a firm shape. Ten Hag might have eventually pulled it off if they gave him more time. Even greats like Ancellotti and Enrique can't do anything magically within 3 seasons. |
Nemesis0147:Brother, as long as it takes o! Their mistake was bowing to pressure and sacking Ole when things were going wrong. They lack patience and football sense (both management and fans)...! So, they will suffer for at least 2 full seasons again...! If they get impatient and sack Amorim, then back to square one again. ![]() Even if they hire Klopp and Enrique together, nothing will change... It will still be a long arduous walk back to the top. Luis Enrique will take one look at these players and FLEE! ![]() |
VinnyBaba:I warned them that sacking Ten Hag won't change their situation...! They thought I was lying. ![]() The club will need not less than 3 full seasons to offload, sell, and fix that starting 11 and bench... All while balancing books and trying to make profits. Barely 1 month, these same people are already talking about getting another coach. 5 coaches hired and fired in how many years?!! Haba!!! |
Neddstark:Thing is so annoying! It's like they believe most Nigerians have such limited mental capacities for good movies. |
Jokerman:But, you pushed hard for Ten Hag to be sacked na! Maybe ten hag might have turned things around if you guys had been a bit more patient. Now, it's back to square one, and in a worse way! Make una just pray say una no battle relegation like Everton did last season. ![]() |
Funny... Lol! ![]() Arsenal, Chelsea, Milan, etc, have been here before. This na United turn... The inevitable rock bottom of so many seasons of poor decisions. |
This worship and glorification of wealth by Nigerians all over social media will damn and destroy many lives until we start talking to ourselves...! I clearly saw our morals and inclination deteriorate from the late 90s to this point. As it stands now, it's looking like things will get worse from here. |
Chymak:Lol... Onana has been one of the top keepers in Epl. The young man is good... Whatever blushes he has will stop as time goes on. What many of you refuse to actually accept is that United is FINISHED! Change coach again, replace goalkeeper too, nothing will change! Just pocket your expectations and suffer along with the rebuilding process. Amorim is going to get the team back on track, but it's a very long walk to glory...! Infact, the young man hasn't even started working... Your real criticisms should hold till next season. For now, just pray to finish in the top 10... That is a more realistic target, if you people are being honest with yourselves. |
Softmirror:Yes, but some owners are more interested in sharp and short term profits. Winning trophies requires investment and long term planning. Spurs has been growing and selling players rather than solidifying the squad to actually win trophies. |
jaephoenix:Boss, those guys matter strong die...! It's really bizarre. |
jaephoenix:Thanks boss... I keep confusing him with the actor (Eugene Levi). |
dominique:Girls and guys will be gunning down their ex upandan...! Liberal gun use among poorly educated people with tribal and bigoted bad characters. The last civil war will be child's play. |
helinues:Your points are very valid and I'm totally with you...! I just feel that City's decline is way too sudden to be the usual law of diminishing returns. Everything up comes down, nothing great lasts forever... But, this decline is practically overnight. |
I just saw the trailer and simply shook my head...! Who actually writes these stories and scripts?!! Let's even start from there. ![]() |
Amazing game... Even Mods couldn't keep up with the score line. Spurs na very useless club sha. Congrats to Liverpool! This their time to shine! Their main competition is fighting for scraps in the gutter. |
helinues:I understand your perspective, Chief. But, when you attain elite status as a club, there are games and teams you simply don't lose to. Fans of clubs like Leicester, Wolves, and Southampton don't have high expectations... So, they don't get bothered by losses. Newcastle fans were in that position 2 years back before oil money entered the club. |
SolomonGrandi:Didn't age well at all...! I loved it! Best game of the season so far! ![]() |
...And some people are saying they should legalise and liberalize gun ownership. Just picture the state of this nation then. Dead body go over surplus. Nigeria will be worse than Haiti in less than 2 years. |
helinues:True Sir. But, it's not about winning titles at this point. It's about playing well and winning games. City's string of losses is beyond embarrassing. |
helinues:Curse?!! Maybe! Lol... Or maybe they have simply lost touch with themselves. No motivation! Their numerous charges and the FA punishment looming started the whole thing. The fallout from that will likely bury the club, or force them to move in a different direction. So, the issue is more of an internal club crisis spilling over. |
helinues:Eugene Levi is nor interested in trophies. He is a business man interested in profits. Modified: I meant Dan Levy. |
You can't build a structure with mercenaries who never truly left their parties (APC and PDP). Okupe and the rest of them have no loyalty or integrity. They go where they can find food! If APC were to lose by some miracle in 2027, these idiots will also defect to the ruling party. |
helinues:Underscores my point...! Tottenham has been messing up very useless teams. |
Man United fans, come and see what a proper and disciplined team looks like! Na only Man City and United this Spurs fit use take shine...! Useless team for real... Thank God Kane fled this club. |
cornelman:See them... The same Ruud that is collecting anyhow at Leicester. How long before the decline caught up with him at United?!! United is finished! It was finished before Amorim came along. There is no winning team abeg! NONE!!! Make una nor dey whine unaself. You were never beating Bournemouth by any stretch of the imagination...! They are a proper team with dedicated and disciplined players. Dedication and Discipline have not been at United since Moyes... Facts!!! It's a long journey back to some stability... Even the best brains in coaching will struggle miserably with these players. |
prinsam30:This right here is the biggest problem with many of you United fans... Unrealistic expectations. Why can't you guys just face the reality? Man United is FINISHED! There are only 3 clubs in epl that you are better than: Everton Leicester Southampton ...And they are relegation customers. ![]() Leave Amorim to find a way around that rotten club of yours, Boss! Where was Casemiro when this same Bournemouth use una do yeye last season?!! ![]() |
