UK, in my honest opinion, is just a slightly upgraded version of Lagos! Na Africans know wetin dem keep for there.

I was very clear in my response... Canada's economy is on the mend just like most other top nations, but it's not in dire straits as described by the guy.

The main people struggling there and complaining bitterly are those who didn't come in legally as residents.

Please, fact check for yourself... Canada has a system of immigration where they bring in those with the educational and professional skills needed in the nation, and such easily get employment and accommodation.

They still have a system in place to help such people settle in easily.


Anyone entering via other means won't benefit from such system, and will struggle unimaginably.

The target of my message are students who come here without any-money thinking they can pay for their fees and bills . But 6 months down no job. They are all over social media crying. The permanent residence thing is no longer straightforward and most Nigerians that qualify with it pre 2022 wont meet the requirements including me. There are jobs in Canada, far more than in many other nations.

Just come in legally as a Permanent Resident (P.R).

Key point is to make sure to research that your skills are in demand over there.

It is easier to get a Job as a resident of Canada than from outside Canada... And the economy is not anywhere as bad as some of you paint it.

Many of the people that complain a lot are people who didn't enter countries like Canada, Australia, etc, as legal Permanent Residents... Typical are the ones that come in as refugees.


I understand that many of you Nigerians based abroad hate to see your fellow countrymen joining you there, but don't lie anyhow and paint too many unnecessary negative pictures.
