brain54:I deliberately packed up my Dstv decoder and dish during the very first Xenophobic riots. Till date, I have never subscribed. I tried the same with network by trying Glo for a bit... Bro, I had no choice but to switch back to mtn. Disappointing is a mild term to describe the feeling. |
Julibet:As in... After decades of operating, they have failed to take over the Nigerian space. Mediocrity might be embedded into an average Nigerian DNA. |
I remain disappointed in Globacom and other indigenous organizations. This should have been the key moment to take over this telecom and satellite tv space, with the growing disaffection against those Zulus. Under normal circumstances, MTN and others should be packing their bags to leave... The boycott shouldn"t just be within Nigeria but all over Africa, especially West and East Africa. Completely isolating South Africa shouldn't even be debated, and it shouldn't be difficult... But, Africans, just like typical Nigerians, have never learned to unite for great and impactful things. No wonder the continent is perpetually being plundered and exploited by foreigners. Smh!!! |
We should be focusing Nigeria away from anything deeply religious at this point...! The level of insecurity linked to worsening religious intolerance should be more than enough ground for such an idea to never see the light of day. There ought to be more priority given to programs and schemes that will unite citizens and push the nation closer to economic boom, rather than seeming to favor certain religious groups... Then again, without DIVISION, how can APC remain in power?!! A united Nigeria is a nightmare to their failed administration. |
Op... Where exactly is the beauty?!! |
Ghana should come with their A-game... No team is a pushover. I hope they get all 3 points like Ivory Coast. Meanwhile, kudos to Tuchel and England... That was a footballing masterclass against Croatia. |
CJStarz:Absolutely! Thanks for the correction. |
Sigh... Even in Gambia nearby. Na wa o. Tomorrow, these ones will blame Tinubu for their generational and ancestral mistakes. |
Wotowotoman:Right now, his only plan abi wish should be how dem go get all 3 points for this game. He can think or talk of padding his stats when they face a weaker team. DR Congo is not messing around... Just the way Spain received their own reality check from Cape Verde of all teams. |
Omoawoke:Who Ronaldo and Messi epp?!! Africa all the way abeg. |
Lol... This is an interesting world cup. ![]() |
Nword22:South Africa Tunisia Senegal Algeria ...You see where I'm going with my earlier submission?!! Please, let me know if I should explain it further. Thank you. |
Game never even start fully, Africa don dey collect already...! ![]() Africa, my Africa! |
I honestly believe Nigeria is currently beyond the leadership capacity and capability of all the top Presidential aspirants including Obi... Especially with the constitution and state of the nation. I earnestly believe they are all COMPROMISED in one way or the other which will handicap them from doing what needs to be done, especially in the area of corruption. Nigeria needs a complete RESET. Something like what was done prior to 1999... A fresh and fairly clean slate for a proper leader to take over from. Unfortunately, that might be a mirage at this point... Cos, only 2 things can set this in motion: 1. A Military coup where righteous leaders brutally dislodge this sham of a democracy and imprison or kill off the current political class, then give room for fresh faces and consciences. 2. In the absence of the above, a bl00dy rev0luti0n across the nation by united citizens that will force the current leadership elites out of the nation, and forcefully birth new leaders from the middle class. |
Once the dead is laid to rest, and traditional mourning period is over (this varies across cultures and societies). After this, it's now up to the widowed person, depending on their level of bonding and intimacy with the deceased... Some might choose to pursue celibacy. As for Divorce and annulment, that comes down to personal choices. As long as the papers are signed, there are no moral or legal restrictions whatsoever. |
All eyes on you know who! ![]() He should sha try to put his team first not personal stats. Meanwhile, I wholly support my Fellow Africans. Go all out for glory. ![]() |
Make una try upgrade NTA to international standards first...! To scam una citizens no dey ever taya una. ![]() |
HacheNoire:Lol... Men earning fatter than you can ever dream of from the national coffers don't go this length in ass-licking. Keep up the "good" work sha. ![]() |
Half?!! Lol... You guys are still being diplomatic with the truth. ![]() From what has been borrowed, and yet to be borrowed, this nation has absolutely NO REVENUE! |
Knowing the root causes and risk factors of most of these deadly diseases, you would think people would know better, yet the ailment keeps wiping humans everywhere. Simply shows that average humans don't really want to be healthy... at least, not as desperately as they crave wealth and influence. |
insidelife22:American citizens living in America are 5 times more likely to die violently at the hands of fellow Americans than anyone else. No nation on Earth has more violent deaths than the same America you glorify from your remote and unexposed location in Nigeria. No offense... Just stating this simple fact. |
billyG:Dem don already deport their goal scorer just because of his celebration style after scoring. FIFA is already grinding its teeth in utter embarrassment. |
Lol... Let me wait for America and Trump defenders in Nigeria and Nairaland to come and explain how this is normal in all countries. ![]() When I said Trump's America will find a way to embarrass itself while hosting this tournament, una call me names. One would think that this is the first time they are hosting a competition of this magnitude. |
Every African nation should face their countries and leave South Africa alone. I wonder how hard it can be... Africans too like attachments. Are you saying the rest of you can't survive without them?!! Stop embarrassing yourselves. Under normal circumstances, all their companies operating in other African nations should have been sent packing by now, but the rest of you can't seem to be ready to replace them. I would honestly love to see how South Africa thrives as a continental outcast. |
internationalman:Hahaha... Roberto is the Asst. Coach... Practically a fugurehead. CR7 will decide himself whether he plays full game or half, or whether he starts or not. Portugal can only touch true greatness if they can play their game without the need to pander to his personal glory-hunting. |
Reno fell badly sha...! Never knew integrity he claimed to possess would be this cheap for Jagaban to purchase. |
internationalman:Lol... That pressure to meet up will make him a serious liability to his hardworkinvg team mates. |
Emeskhalifa:Lol... Wrong question. You should be asking: How is he still playing amazing and mesmerizing football at his age?!! Younger ones should beg him to stay longer to enable them learn from him. ![]() |
That guy is just EXTRAORDINARY...! Amazing and world-class goals. I always felt Messi keeps raising the bar for younger footballers... But now, I believe that's no longer true. Right now, there is just no more bar... Messi is officially UNTOUCHABLE! His quality will likely never be replicated in 5 generations to come. Just WOW!!! |
Kalulu44:Shebi they wanted him gone by the end of last season. |
Kalulu44:Ivory Coast had a very forgettable game abeg...! Everyone of them should just sit up. |
Kalulu44:Honestly, only Morrocco has shown some decency so far. I seriously pray we don't embarrass this long-suffering continent again this year. |

but Glo hasn't been able to live up to the standard of being a reference for good Network.
