...Life will move on in Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, Kano, and other states.

Even in Oyo state, everything went on as normal within days of the kidnap of students and teachers... Not even the beheading of the teacher stirred any of the indigenes into action.

Nigeria is a nation of docile and finished people.

Spits!!!

Where is the dss when you need them, this guy's are suppose to be cooling of in their underground dungeons all over the country.
Why would DSS be interested in them?!!

Did they start a peaceful and non-violent protest against bad leadership?!! Did they criticize the Presidency?!! Did they demand free and fair elections?!!

Maybe you need to go and learn the "real" function of APC's DSS. tongue

PulaPower:
The United States has imposed sanctions on a Nigerian-based individual accused of helping the Islamic State (ISIS) move funds across borders through money exchange businesses.

The same ISIS that US created..

It’s more of US has imposed sanctions on their created terror… cuz they’re acting hard-headed..
Okay... Agreed, U.S created the terror group.

Are American citizens the ones sponsoring, participating and doing the terrorist activities all over the world, including Nigeria?!!

Why would any sensible human being invest in that country?!!

Just curious.

Massive result for Ghana.
Round of 32 Qualification secured. 👍
All they need is a draw against Croatia next week, and they comfortably qualify.

Those are live AK rounds in 7.62x39mm caliber.

Somebody is sending a direct threat that must be taken seriously.

Hopefully the police had the presence of mind to dust them for fingerprints BEFORE touching them without gloves.
Fingerprints?!! For which country?!! grin

Even if they managed to do that, what database will they match them against?!! tongue

Lol... Boss, I disagree with you o! grin

Nothing beats getting into those group stages, even if you leave without a win.

A lot of players values don triple already, just for participating alone.

There's nothing more disgraceful than missing out on 2 consecutive World cup tournaments.

Just ask Italians... The pain is pretty DEEP.

This ref has some bias against Ghana...!

He just dey spoil the game with his senseless use of that whistle.

So far, Ghana has made England look very ordinary.

I still never quite understand the hype around Anderson and Belligham sha.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Cristiano Ronaldo's Reaction After Portugal's Win by Angelfrost(m): 10:07pm On Jun 23
I sincerely wish him well... I was so happy when he got that second goal.

It would be a dream to have Portugal facing England or Argentina at the final or semis.

Doesn't matter... Won't matter at this point.

Messi has done it, the world has watched, and everybody don belleful.

Whatever Mbappe and his age mates do is for France only.

Even Mbappe has lost interest at this point...!

Na who no like him peace of mind go wan try match Messi. tongue

Yeah. Will have scored a hat trick if he had put the early one away. Just an unbelievable player.
Almost did with that last freekick and kick of the game...!

...And he does all these without stress or pressure.

Man is just at ease, having fun while casually setting and breaking records in one game.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Lionel Messi Becomes All-time Leading FIFA Men’s World Cup Scorer With 17th Goal by Angelfrost(m): 8:00pm On Jun 22
Lol... He just scored again! tongue

Messi is just IMPOSSIBLE.

At this point, all other players should stop trying to beat him... No need abeg.

They should all compete among themselves at their own level... Messi has completely left them all... I mean ALL of them! No exceptions!!!

Before scoring the first goal, the entire stadium was practically standing still waiting and holding their breath... They all knew it was INEVITABLE!

Even the opponents and their fans were happy just to have witnessed this MIRACLE... It didn't really bother them that their team was going to lose. grin
Foreign Affairs › Re: List Of UK Prime Ministers Who Resigned Since 2010 by Angelfrost(m): 4:31pm On Jun 22
voortrekker966:
They actually resign and hand over to a member of their party. The general public voted for the party not the individual. So if a particular prime minister is not doing well, his/her party members push for another person to try so they will not lose at the general elections. Resigned prime ministers remain members of parliament until the end of their tenure.
Ohhh... That makes a lot of sense.

Thank you.

Nigeria has always been there for other African countries. So, Giant of Africa is not an understatement.
Lol... Charity begins at home.

Be there for your citizens first.

You send military support to every corner of Africa to keep peace, yet hostiles and terrorists are having a field day with your military here.

Makes no sense creating a false impression of a big and prosperous nation out there, while poverty and insecurity reign within.
Foreign Affairs › Re: List Of UK Prime Ministers Who Resigned Since 2010 by Angelfrost(m): 3:46pm On Jun 22
Hmmm... That's a lot of resignations for a developed nation.

What is it about that office that makes it hard for them to complete their tenures, and hand over?!!

Anyone well informed should enlighten us please.

That's good...!

I have long removed myself from DStv and left Stanbic.

Leaving mtn would mean no proper service access in my area.

If glo and others were not sleeping, what business do we or should we have with mtn.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Warnings June 30 Anti-migration Protests In SA Will Turn To Riots - PICTURES by Angelfrost(m): 3:36pm On Jun 22
Any immigrant, whether legal or illegal, still in that country is on his or her own.

Other nations should respond in kind... Absolute boycott of all South African goods and services.

Completely isolate that nation in every way possible.

If AU still existed (they claim to) and still had balls, heavy sanctions ought to have been placed, and the nation suspended from the union and all trades frozen.

The silence of the U.N is also shameful.

MTN, Stanbic, Dstv, and others should be pushed out of all African nations... Sadly, this will never happen, except the citizens unite to do so.

Wotowotoman:
Ogbeni, no dey talk that kind thing. Ivory Coast played very very well. They almost ran away with a win but squandered chances. And it’s mainly because they don’t have strikers. How can you call the efforts they put in today a joke? You sure say you watch that match? huh
You sure say you watch this match?!!

If Germany had those chances, this game would have ended in first half.

What do you mean by they don't have strikers?!!

False 9s like Havertz and Firmino would bury those chances.

They will play serious football from the back up to opponent's 18 yard box and then become jokers. Mumu people dem.
As in... How can you be leading a German team by a lone goal and playing like you have a bigger goal advantage.

I don't have strength abeg... If you don't know football, find someone else to banter.

Not in that mood abeg.

If what Ivory Coast did today is what you call professional and serious, then you have such interesting standards.

They have qualified already. Curacao cannot beat them up to 8-0. Na 3 dey qualify for group now.
That's good for them... Still a huge disappointment.

This is a game they had practically won... So annoyed right now.

They did all the work, just for a subsititute striker to take all the glory.

Ivory Coast should blame themselves. They had all the opportunities but fluffed it. They lacked poor game management
Forget game management...!

This was a game they were practically in full control of, but that dumb mentality of joking around where seriousness matters simply wouldn't let them make progress.

From Amad to Kessie, down to Diomande... Bunch of unserious players thinking this tournament is a joke.
