My question be say how did he know the tribe of the person he quoted. How did he conclude he is from the South East or an Igbo in a faceless forum like nairaland where no one knows your ID or real profile details.
I guess they are just guessing, thinking it's only the IGBOS that are on social media spaces in Nigeria.

Very immature set of people
Actually, it goes both ways...!

An average Yoruba online nuisance believes only Igbos criticise and attack anything related to his tribe or ethnicity.

On the other hand, a lot of Igbo online touts also believe all problems in Nigeria and on Earth are caused by Yorubas.

This level of ethnic hatred that took a whole new life under Buhari has seriously gotten out of hand, and needs to be nipped by leaders and elders from both regions.

My own is... Both tribes are not the only people in Nigeria.

Just like that... Igbo Vs Yoruba.

That's all it comes down to for you guys.

I keep saying it... Igbos and Yorubas are not the only tribes or people in Nigeria!

Some of you just want to be unfortunate in this life.

... because Nigerians made them, right?

When it comes to creativity, you'd be shocked at what Nigerians can do.
Lol... I have never doubted our creativity, my good sister.

However, design idea theft is not new nor strange... And, it isn't even unique to anywhere. It is a regular occurence in the world of Fashion, Music, infact Art in general!

That's why you make efforts to protect your work through trademark and copyright protection.

Well... Let those who have faith in such participate happily, and may God grant them their heart cry for their nation.

Now, if you don't subscribe to or believe in this move, just do the one you believe in.

Leave people's opium for them.

That was so shocking and completely UNEXPECTED.

That's the definition of a Banana republic.

Okay.

The problem is, you sound like the woman who is 25 years old and won't marry until she meets a man that is tall, handsome, dark, owns his own house, is 27 years old, and owns two cars, and earns 40 million naira monthly.

If you want to know how the saner climes improved, it was partly by revolts instigated by angry people wanting to know what the king and the government was doing with their taxes.

It is because Nigerians don't pay taxes that they have time to vote for leaders by tribe and religion. The day they feel it where it hurts, tinubu ad company will see shege.

Plus no one, likes, paying, taxes. Especially in those high accountability countries.

And you think you will get transparent leadership from a majorly corrupt nation like Nigeria. ? Like you said, let's start from somewhere. Use the langugage of tax to make the elite sit up, and the masses really pay attention.
Yesssss!!! My point exactly!

The Leadership must start acting like a proper democracy and listening to the citizens.

You must open the doors of accountability and transparency in order to put your people on board...No need for grammar or campaign.

Simply declare the books open! Show details.

Well, this will NEVER happen sha... Not without a BLOODY REVOLUTION.

So, let's all keep speaking grammar on social media while the nation sinks economically.

Hmmmm.... That's right, but honestly bro. In all of them, I still have a soft spot for Rashford. Man can still do something for us if Carrick can tame his excesses.
Rashford is not serious... He practically cut his wages to get into Spain.

Everyone takes lower pay everywhere but Man United and Chelsea.

That says a lot about the management of both clubs.

It's the truth na. If he had said 'no' I would have given names. Sancho is over 240k a week, Rashford is 250k, even Ugarte and basket Onana sef is earning like a star. So many idiots everywhere.
That's what Ineos has started trying to clean up... It's an inherited mess tbh.

United is scrapping high wage bills. That's the main reason why Casemiro won't be extending despite how needed he is, even for next season.

PSG also took that gamble, and it paid off big time... They are spending far less and about to win a consecutive UCL.

And all the above accounts for 20-30% of government funding per annum. Most of the rest comes from oil revenue.

VAT raised 7.9 trillion in 2025...bank charges, etc raised less than 4 trillion for a budget that needed 54 trillion naira. As for PAYE...lol. Only 44% (government figures), 30% (world bank figures)..and at the begining of the Buhari regime it was 16% of tax eligible Nigerians pay tax to the government

Most of the country work in the informal sector, who don't pay tax to government, be it at federal or even state level.

Nigeria is undertaxed. Part of it is poverty, part of it is the idea that the oil money...which on a good day can't pass 80 billion dollars...talkless more than 100 billion, can somehow magically sustain us, that all we need to do is block leakages. Well, I beileve we should fight corruption, but if we voted Obi tomorrow, and he ended corruption next week, the leakages being stopped won't improve our fiscal life at all.

And thus, we borrow and borrow and borrow.
Bro, every nation starts somewhere... Progress doesn't happen in a day.

Improving or increasing taxes without fullproof anti-corruption leadership that is transparent will lead to full on resistance.

The poor will happily pay taxes if they know there is accountability.

Every dime paid in taxes can be easily accounted for by an average citizen... That has NEVER happened in Nigeria.

So, you can't be asking for support and cooperation from citizens when you are not ready to be TRANSPARENT in your leadership.

Politics › Re: Tinubu To Nigerians: You Must Pay Taxes If You Want Development by Angelfrost(m): 2:06pm On May 17
Everyone pays taxes, whether you like it or not...!

You pay taxes directly or indirectly:

1. Direct deductions from your salaries (public or private) to state revenue services and FIRS.
2. Charges on bank transfers, airtime and data recharge, monthly service charges, etc.
3.VAT, each time you enter a supermarket, market, or pay for services.
Etc.

The truth is... Tinubu and all past leaders have not shown a single iota of seriousness to end insecurity and terrorism across the nation.

We can speak grammar and play ethnic politics on social media from now till 2031, nothing will change until all Nigerians starting from Tinubu himself decide that enough is enough!

The fact that average Nigerians are no longer moved by these killings says it all.

Look at the outrage and widespread anger against South Africa about xenophobia or the insults against Trump for calling out "genocide".

I have never seen nor heard such outrage whenever these terrorists slaughter people in hundreds.

You Nigerians are something else...! Smh!!!

With how the table is currently looking, Bournemouth have a score to settle with city, they will try as hard as possible to finish 6th and hope Aston Villa win the Europa League, that way they will qualify for UEFA champions league. That will be the best possible way to finish their season. And again that will be the last home game for their coach Andoni iraola who will be leaving at the end of the season, so they will put up a good fight to win the match for their coach. But arsenal should not be relying on favour from any team right now, let's finish our job ourselves.
That's just it.. Arsenal should not be relying on favors from others.

They are leading with 2 point at the top with 2 games left.

Winning those 2 games guarantees them the title, regardless of what City does.

So, it's all in their hands now.

I don't know what magic Liverpool owners are expecting this bald fraud to pull off next season.
