saintkel:A veteran in the coaching game, who will be given complete freedom from dressing room to transfer markets... Absolute autonomy. Off the top of my head: Jurgen Klopp (your best choice tbh) Gareth Southgate Luis Enrique Simone Inzaghi Roberto Mancini These are coaching stronghouses that have made their marks, and won't bow to tantrums from players, fans or owners... And they will deliver results within half a season. |
saintkel:Based on what he has done with Bournemouth this season... Yes, he is. I doubt he will succeed at a big club like Chelsea, Man United or others. Such people work best where the expectations are not over the roof. |
Nice one...! First order of business, get Andoni Iraola in as coach. |
When it comes to Politicians and leaders that embezzle BILLIONS of public funds, you invite them and even spread red carpet for them...! But, when it involves regular average citizens accused of far lesser financial crimes, you swoop down like commandoes and FBI Force tracking down dangerous terrorists. Upholding the law is a good thing... But, doing it selectively, and constantly trampling on the rights of citizens because they are not wealthy or influential is the sort of thing that sets any nation down a very dangerous path. When Citizens constantly perceive law enforcement as enemies worse than criminals, that nation is DOOMED! |
It's a gathering of people who came to offer comfort... Light refreshment is not bad; it's actually courtesy. |
Private matters should stay PRIVATE...! Social media has made many of you people cross too many lines carelessly. This is why I no dey pity anybody once Police and handcuffs show... I used to make a case for these online idi10ts whenever they get hauled off to jail, but not anymore. Many of una for this internet space never wan get sense. |
milann:The very same reason He created goats, Lions, Sheep, Eagles, Man, etc. To exist and be a key part of the ecosystem. |
Kalulu44:Even a Chimp or monkey can drive or operate machinery... It's not rocket science. Actual driving education is more than that. We are talking broadly about Proactive and Defensive driving. We are talking safe driving, driving according to road conditions, safety maneuvers, road signs understanding, etc. This is why more than 80 percent of drivers in Nigeria will fail every driving certification test on Earth. |
EmekaBlue:More like unlucky Crocodile...! Its only crime was doing what it was created to do. It never caused the flood, neither did it convince a grown ass man to take such a dangerous driving risk. |
Ironfaceman:He might even be secretly backing them...! This might be the worst President in South Africa's history yet. |
Kalulu44:Bro, let's not overstretch the TRUTH...! Most Nigerian drivers have little to no training or education before jumping into a vehicle to start driving. If you move abroad and go for driving programs, you will realize how much you have been getting by with luck and a failed Nigerian system of lawlessness. If you put out a law, that all Nigerian drivers must do a driving test before new licensing or renewal, and no one will drive anywhere without a license... Half of Lagos and Nigerian roads will be empty within a day. I don't even stand to be corrected. |
Nchenches:Thank you Brother...! Kalulu44, need I say more?!! You can't and shouldn't use your personal abilities to defend others... The numbers don't lie. I used to think we would have fewer crashes and fatalities if we had better roads, till I lived in the North...! That was where and when I realized that with far better roads, we would have far more accidents and fatalities. Why?!! Our drivers are not trained or educated, and this has absolutely nothing to do with driving experience or length of driving. A bad driver or poorly educated driver is bad even if he has been getting away with bad driving ethic for decades. |
Jakpon:Absolutely. This is why I keep screaming at Governors and citizens of other states. |
Erm... That's all?!! This was what you created a thread for?!! ![]() |
Jakpon:Yes... Agreed! So, what precisely is your point, sir? |
OredoPikin:Yes... What part of that phrase is tripping you up?!! ![]() |
CorperKola:Sigh... It's a bit early for this needless defensiveness. Did I state that poor driving doesn't happen anywhere else?! But, what about the prevalence? Is it the same?!! How many accidents compared to ours?! How many laws are enforced comparatively?!! Are there even driving rules in your nation and who enforces them?!! An average Nigerian driver has no business on the road behind a wheel because he is either untrained, uneducated/ignorant about basic road rules, and largely never took nor passed a driving test. There really is no room for argument here, Sir. |
Stop handing out drivers' licenses like they are birthrights. Make driving education and passing of road tests compulsory and treat it with every force of the law. An average Nigerian driver doesn't know how to drive... I keep saying this! Even more than half of traffic bottlenecks are caused by this poor driving attitudes and lawlessness. A friend of mine told me he stopped praying for "Journey mercies" the day he started living and commuting abroad Another lady said she never knew driving could be fun and SAFE till she relocated and started driving in Europe. Something is seriously wrong with many of you Nigerians living in Nigeria...! Spits!!! |
1nigeriamyfoot:Yep... It's even far better than feeding, improving security, and other forms of development. |
OredoPikin:There is almost no index of development that the Southwest isn't topping...! |
Look at how poor leadership has turned oil-producing states to Almajiri states. |
In all these, Rivers state citizens and indigenes are just there looking on helplessly...! I mean, it's supposed to be a democracy... Votes are supposed to be the main thing, not Party candidacy. |
Lawalemi:Even Military leaders in our worst dictatorship managed to outperform most of our so called democratic leaders. Nigerian Politics has never been about national service or true welfare of the citizens. |
Wealthyonos:You would be amazed to know the poor and less privileged generally sleep far better than the wealthier ones. The truth is that money is is good for a lot of things, but has never solved all problems. |
Ate247:A lot of today's Nairalanders and general social media users seriously make very unintelligent comments...! If comments made on social media are a measure of average reasoning capacity across generations, then mankind might be in serious general mental decline. ...Cos the kinds of comments I read on this forum daily ehn. |
Samantha125:Rejoicing with a 17 year old who doesn't have a proper Menstrual Cycle?!! And you are a woman already having kids! How is a young lady without a complete cycle ever going to be able to have kids?!! I would understand if this comment came from a guy... I would simply excuse his ignorance. |
Modified: Just seen the full post, and this is sad! Congenital defects like this leave parents confused and perplexed. Now, you have to pray for a MIRACLE. |
Just imagine if a babe or "friend" had been in the car with him...! Na so that person for collect bullet wey no concern am... Even if they spare the person, he or she would be traumatised after witnessing such horro firsthand. That's why you watch the company you keep at all times. |
jaxxy:Mourinho is washed out and past it...! Madrid must be really retrogressing to even consider him. |
Congrats to Barcelona on their consecutive La Liga title under Hansi Flick. This has to be ROCK BOTTOM, by Madrid's standards. Things wouldn't have been this bad if they had left Alonso at thr helm. |
He that lives by the gun, will kpai by the... Abi, how una take dey talk that thing. ![]() |
garriAndsugar:Mistakes ke?!! What mistake?!! Lol! ![]() There is no "Mistake" about weak men thinking only money can buy them true love and faithfulness. |
