Egypt can win by getting penalties, giving red cards, crowding the referee, rolling in the pitch....but one thing they can't do is "tire out" a west Africa side...never!
It's one of their dirty tactics...!

I felt sorry for Ivory Coast last week.

Smh!!!
Sports › Re: Senegal Vs Egypt: AFCON Semi-Finals (1 - 0) - Live by Angelfrost(m): 6:43pm On Jan 14
This match will likely go the distance to extra time...!

Egypt will want to tire out their opponents by sitting back and absorbing pressure all day long... If they score first, it's over for the West Africans.
Sports › Re: Senegal Vs Egypt: AFCON Semi-Finals (1 - 0) - Live by Angelfrost(m): 5:45pm On Jan 14
Senegal, don't jonze o!

Oga Jude…just so you know….yes the management had their problems which frustrated Amorim….but Amorim himself was not a good coach….he is too rigid with a single formation and forcing players with unique abilities into a style that doesn’t fit them. This is what Alex Ferguson knew that others didn’t….so those of you that are telling us that even Alex didn’t have it easy at the start…we know but he also knew how to change tactics were necessary
Relax... Una go recycle coaches taya.

Eventually, na Africa una go come find coach. No worry.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United appoint Michael Carrick As New Coach by Angelfrost(m): 9:10pm On Jan 13

Can anyone see the rationality of this scenario?
Falseprophet1 and his counterparts in Nigeria will be beating themselves up for not taking a chance like this with the national team.

Super Eagles are practically holding that title. tongue

Zidane was an amateur when he took over from Benitez and he led Madrid to 3 successive UCL titles. Pep Guardiola was an amateur when he took over from Frank rikjards at Barca. But he led that same Barca team to historic treble, even after he dismissed Samuel Eto'o and built the team around Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. The thing is, Spanish clubs love to recruit from their ranks because these coaches understand their philosophy and style of play and know the players well. Zidane was Madrid's second team coach before taking over. Same for Pep. The list is endless.
Great point... I wish all the young coaches well.

Arbeloa
Rosenior
Carrick

May they succeed like Zidane and Arteta.

The Bruno u are hyping is one the problem too....below average in terms of doing his work in the midfield
When I say United fans don't know football, this is why! tongue

If half of your starting players had the zeal, intelligence and commitment of Bruno, you would have been ruling the top 3 with Arsenal for the last 3 seasons.

Bruno got injured, and your team collapsed! If not for Amorim's management, you should have dropped below 10th by now.

Casemiro and Bruno are the only world class players in that team!

Don't even argue this basic fact.

What bullocks u saying... Hojland was trash... they renamed rashford trashford... Amorin was putting the team in order...6th place was a fantastic improvement from a team that finished 16th just last season... city , arsenal Aston villa ( dark horse) , Liverpool ( last season champions) and Chelsea were the only teams ahead of United.... if they gave that man 5 years ...he would have won the league ... remember it took klop 5 yrs to finally win the league ...in his first 2 seasons , he struggled between 5th and 7th... Amorin was gently weeding off the problematic players at United... he wanted semenyo, but management refused, instead , city got him ... that was part of the reasos of the outbursts.... he said the owners promised him a managerial job and not coaching job and that's y he agreed to take the job.... but they dint keep to their promise
Leave that guy...!

Most of these United fans don't know football.

They and their dumb owners will sink that club.

U are just saying nonsense.bo one wanted hojlund gone.i for one never did.he would have been much better had he gotten enough supply of assists from the players around him and the formation.in the number of games he olayed alongside de bruyne,we all saw him shine.
I was glad rashford left cus to me he wasnt really committed after signing a new deal, but for cunha to be seen as an upgrade to rashford is a crime.you delusional supporters still living on past glories i stead of facing the reality on ground led amorin on with the nonsense formation and inability to adapt to circumstances.cunha,dorgu,sesko.u were given 250million euros and u bought im shitty players and urr asking for more without justifying it on the field
Come up with something new abeg!

Same tired rantings and rhethorics since David Moyes took over from Ferguson... Same things that have seen you guys offload over 9 good managers in about 12 years.

So what is needed since the club is no longer attractive to high quality talent is to get a world class gaffer who certain capable players are willing to play and die for. Do a total house cleaning and get a new squad.

Now, because of FFP this may take many years but this is the only way and the price to pay for misadventure over the past decade and a half since Sir Alex retired.

It will take time.
This is what the United management and the fans have to accept. For sustainable progress to levels of the late 90's and early 2000's they need to be ultra patient. Get the right person and stick with him.
You are still missing the point...!

Let me spell it out in capitals:

THERE IS NO RIGHT PERSON!!!

There will never ever be!

There is only a right approach... And that remains TIME!

This was what Amorim already started doing, but as usual, they chose the idiot route and scuttled the process...!

Now, they are back in the vicious cycle.

The same Hojlund you guys dragged all over the place, abi another one?!!

Even Rashford was not spared by you United fans.

Maybe your memory is short or you just enjoy going in circles with your clueless owners.

What next?!! Maybe start blaming the young Keeper and wondering why Onana was removed.

You want to rebuild and push into number one with one lean transfer market... How na?!!

Before McTominay was sold, you called him all manner of names too.

Man United owners and most of you fans are the main headaches of that dying club.

Let me try and profile such a gaffer.
* Highly competent technician that can turn water to wine, practically.
* An old hand that has seen it all and done it all that temporary setbacks will not bring undue management pressure.
* A manager that has won enough trophies to see long term development first rather than quick fixes towards silverware or league positions.
* A manager that understands the demands of the Premiership.
* A manager that will relegate the present technical director and head of recruitment and instead use his extensive contacts with clubs, players and agents to optimize the squad while managing the declining finances.

Unfortunately the three possibilities are almost like mirages.

Pep will almost certainly not cross over to the red half in this lifetime.
Carlo is almost certainly retiring after next year's world cup.
Klopp is unlikely going to ever manage an English club side again.
Under this ownership and management, Klopp and the other great names you listed will not succeed!

Cleansing the foundation and rot will take nothing less than 5 years... No Jokes.

There can be no quick magical fixes.

Amorim might have made some headway, but impatient fans and the same visionless owners have now succeeded in setting the club several years back into the rot.

It's a circus now. grin
