Actually it's not clear "to the biggest critic" what the Lagos State government has done with the borrowed funds. Didn't the Lagos State government also benefit from high crude oil prices, like everyone else? Why has the Lagos Metroline not been completed (despite promises that it would be finished by June 2013)? Isn't that an example of failed promises?

You talk about "borrowing to pay salaries". What about Ogbeni Rauf and Rotimi Amaechi that haven't paid their workers? What do you have to say about that, Demdem?

I'm not trying to defend this administration (it has had many failures). My point is that we need to stop this partisan agenda of painting Jonathan as the sole problem with Nigeria. APC state governments also bear a large part of the blame for the collective mess the country is in.

As far as barcanista is concern he has know point or say in this, he actually kept quiet when he was still at the other side when it was reported that Buhari said Abacha was not corrupt...I will not support buhari over that statement which I believe was wrong for him to have said. Though I can still understand why he said so when he was put on the spotlight. probably due to his relationship with the family of the Abacha he could not Say it directly when asked!...Same case apply with Ezekwesili when she was asked if Obasanjo was corrupt...imagine if they ask Ngozi okonjo iweala was asked if jonathan is corrupt, what do u think her response will be?...That said, I think Buhari was wrong to have said abacha was not corrupt, he probably shud have answered the question diplomatically..

My brother it is simple, don't look further than our outgoing president who has divided this country stylishly with his style of governance...This is one of the Reason I will never ascribe any excellence to GEJ...It is his fault we have this kind of problem..In the past in lagos, we have not had any reason to vote along ethnic line. We usually vote base on our conviction as well as people who can share the most money but it was never on ethnic ground...The last election changed all that, which people now vote base on Ethnicity...GEJ is the root of all this!

Calling for fiscal federalism is against everything APC and the incoming government represents. That's not going to happen, their leadership is preparing to run a collect and share "allocation process". 2.3million barrels of crude oil is all they know. A governor who only has 2,000 public schools out of 14,000 in the entire state can only be considered a terrible FAILURE.
