Two hours of football and Arsenal has shown they are unbeaten up till the final and if they eventually win it, they would be the first team in UCL to lift the trophy unbeaten. |

That's her choice, and if surrogacy is the path she feels is best for her, that's perfectly valid. That said, becoming a parent involves much more than just financial preparation. Whether a child is carried personally or through a surrogate, the emotional, mental, and long-term commitment of raising a child remains the same.
Many women dream of experiencing pregnancy themselves, while others choose alternatives for personal, medical, or lifestyle reasons. What's most important is that the child is brought into a loving, stable environment and that the decision is made with careful thought and responsibility. |

First half: Arsenal's defensive structure wins. Second half: PSG's sustained pressure and attacking quality take over. Final stages: A game decided by moments rather than domination |

Nextjs: Please note that abroad does not mean automatic success..
Again a lot of students who goes to Canada ofteb fail to secure PR
Secondly 15m can't take u to Canada through school except scholarship or express entry....
if u still want education rout then he should plan well. Get a course in Health care field that will give him an edge to secure job after study then he can apply for PR using Canada experience etc as this will boost his score.
But be again 15m can't run this as he might pay his fees from Nigeria, pay his rent from Nigeria. I have seen people not getting work for up to a year in Canada I have seen 3 years my uncle. |

State police may sound like the silver bullet, but Nigeria’s insecurity runs deeper than policing structure alone. Many governors already struggle with managing basic state responsibilities despite receiving security votes that lack transparency. Giving them direct control of armed police without strong institutional safeguards could easily turn state police into political tools used against opposition voices, critics, or even during elections. The current problem isn’t just that policing is centralized — it’s also poor intelligence gathering, weak justice systems, underfunded officers, corruption, porous borders, unemployment, and lack of coordination among security agencies. Even with state police, if recruitment becomes based on loyalty instead of competence, or if officers are used to settle political scores, we may simply decentralize the same problem. Yes, policing reforms are necessary, and states should have more operational input because they understand local security challenges better. But accountability shouldn’t stop at governors alone — there must be independent oversight, clear legal frameworks, and protection against abuse. Nigeria doesn’t just need more police commands; it needs stronger institutions. Without that, state police could become another powerful idea poorly executed. Agbalowomeri: Let's not deceive ourselves. The present police architecture cannot solve the security issues in the country. The ultimate is the state police which the national assembly is working on. The governors are the chief security officers of states. With state police, they can now be held accountable. |

Travel › Re: Is Leaving Nigeria For Europe Really Better Than Staying Back To Build Something by AngelSlay: 6:12pm On May 17 |
Many people glamorize “japa” and many others over-romanticize “staying back.” Reality is harsher and more nuanced than both sides admit. Yes, abroad offers stronger systems, better infrastructure, and in many cases more predictable institutions than places like Nigeria — but predictability on paper doesn’t automatically translate to personal fulfillment. A lot of immigrants in countries like Canada, United Kingdom, or United States quietly deal with: Years of visa uncertainty Doing survival jobs far below their qualifications High taxes and rising living costs Family strain/divorce Loneliness and identity loss Retirement fears after spending decades in a foreign land And you’re right that success should never be reduced to airport photos, visa stamps, or “I dey abroad” bragging rights. Real success is closer to what you described: freedom. Freedom to control your time. Freedom to build assets. Freedom to raise your family in peace. Freedom to retire with dignity. Freedom to live life on your own terms. That said, staying in Nigeria isn’t automatically freedom either. Many people leave because of insecurity, unstable policies, poor healthcare, weak institutions, and limited opportunities. The real question isn’t “Should I japa or stay?” It’s: “Where can I build the best life based on my goals, values, skills, and family priorities?” For some people, migration is the right move. For others, building businesses, investments, and influence at home may create far more freedom. Location alone doesn’t create success. Intentional decisions do. And honestly, whether in Nigeria, Canada, or anywhere else—if you’re 65 and still trapped in survival mode with no assets, no peace, and no options, that’s the deeper problem. ariesbull: Predictability is the main thing and that isn't what they get
You stay in a system 5yr to 10 yrs you haven't gotten papers is that predictability
You stay in a system you are doing the low jobs and don't know when your pay increment would happen is that predictability
You stay in a system living paycheck to paycheck, shift to shift that to me isn't predictability
You bring your wife over and you don't know if you will have a happy family tomorrow or you will be booted out to the winter by your wife with ordinary 911... That's not predictability
you manage to survive these and grow old doing 69s to 80s and you don't know if the wife and kids will want to come back and if you eventually come back you will end up lonely ... That isn't predictability
Success is measured not by visa stamps or travel
It's freedom
How many business do you own How do you live your life! Do you do shift and shift at age of 55 - 65? That's not success
How do you plan retirement is it with grand kids running along in your home or in caregivers arms as an old immigrant !
Who will foot the bill! Let's not even talk mortgage and foreclosures |
